Here's a little poem I want to share, which I wrote when feeling down and trying to get better...

A broken heart
Broken again...
Soon to be ashes
At the end...

But as long as this heart
Still fairly beats...
It won't give up
Or admit defeat...

Tears fall down
Like the rigid rain...
That pour from the clouds
That feel much pain...

But again, here I am
I am still alive...
Just breathe deeply
And count to five...

One, wipe away
Those tiny tears...
Two, you still have people
That hold you dear...

Three, look up
And try to smile...
Four, just remember
Your life's worthwhile...

I know it is easy
Said than done...
But also keep in mind
You're not the only one...

Who breaks and who falls
Who cries and quits...
Who makes mistakes
And goes through shit...

And lastly, number five
I almost forgot...
Not everyone does this
But it could help a lot...

When you are down
Or having a bad day...
Just close your eyes
And start to pray...

You may not know
Or even believe...
But He is there watching
You just can't see...

He's like no one else
on this very earth...
For he has always loved you
To death, from birth...

I've seen this before, but you have to admit that it's a really beautiful poem.

Like the young blooming flowers
That's petals start so smooth...
Was just like our beginning
When I fell in love with you...

Everything was shining
Colors light and bright...
But soon, things were changing
When we began to fight...

From sweet and gentle kisses
From that warm and tight embrace...
To nothing but just silence
And a cold and empty space...

I know it wasn't easy
To face such dreadful pain...
So now, I'm here just standing
Waiting for the rain...

As it slowly pours upon me
Against my aching head...
I close my eyes so softly
Like I'm about to go to bed...

Feeling its cold touches
Its sliding finger tips...
Words that say 'I love you'
Begin to escape my lips...

Knowing you won't hear them
Or accept them at all...
At least I'm being honest
Here I go; I'll take the fall...
