Lilith looks at him and nods softly.
"I wish that there was a way to remove the curse." She says as she looks away from him.

"Thank you for the concern, but don't waste your breath. After awhile, you'll get used to this." Rin admitted softly, "Besides, the foolish humans that wander in here provides plenty of entertainment." He smiled a little at her.

"Still..." She replies, her voice veering off a little, getting a bit quieter as she looks away from him.
She moves to stand up, grabbing her bag. "I should probably be on my way..."

Rin simply nodded, saying nothing in response. He wasn't thrilled with having his first friend leaving, but who was he to stop her? He couldn't explain why he cared so deeply for her either...

"I'll be back either tomorrow or thw next day with the food I promised. Alright? We can have a picnic when I get here." She smiles at him softly before she turns to exit the cave.

"I look forward to it." Rin smiled at her, "Thank you, I greatly appreciate it." He stood up, tempted to reach out and hug her, but thought against it. "I'll be at the rock on the lake."

"Alright. I'll see you there." She says with a soft smile. Looking back at him. Feeling a little awkward.

"Thank you again. Stay safe, Lilith." Rin responded softly, smiling a bit at her before he started heading for the lake, climbing up on the rock like normal.

Lilith began her trek toward the place she was heading to. Though she couldn't help but glance back. Toward the lake and the stone which he was at.
She sighs softly to herself before she reaches up and softly slaps her cheeks.
"He's not interested in me." She mumbles softly to herself.

Like normal, Rin remained at the center of the lake. Awaiting for anyone to enter the forest, sort of like a lion stalking their prey. Though he was focused on his job at hand, he couldn't quite Lilith off his mind. Something about her just grabbed his attention in a way no one has ever done before. Rin couldn't help but wonder if she would actually come back, though this was probably for the better. She deserved better than some killer shadow with an endless curse.

About a day later.

The sky was turning into a deep orange as the sun dipped down in the sky.

Lilith was the same, a bookbag slung over her shoulder, but this time she had another bag that was carefully held in a hand. The aroma of food wafting out of the bag.
Her boots crunched softly as she walked along the path only made to herself by her.
A smile blossoming on her lips when she recognized where she was at.
The forest she had been in before. Where she met Rin.
She stretches softly as she moved to enter into the forest that casted deep, dark shadows because of the sun dipping and going away.

Rin remained in the center of the rock since that day like normal. The shadows were stalking the forest like usual, checking for any foolish newcomers approaching the forest. Catching wind that Lilith returned, Rin smiled softly. He was happy to have the one person who seemed to care for him return. He was softly humming from where he was on the rock. The metallic voice from their first meeting rung around the lake yet again, "Welcome back, Lilith... I'm glad to see you've made it back here safe..."

Lilith smiles softly as she made her way to the clearing which the lake was at.
"It's good to see you're still alive and well." She joked a little. For she knew he wouldn't be dying. After all, he was immortal.
"I brought food for us. Though it's prettt late." She says as she enters into the clearing. Her gaze scanning over the lake till she looked directly at him.
He looked the same as she had seen him before. And she couldn't help but feel a little comforted that he wouldn't be leaving.
For then she would be able to find him easily. But she keeps the selfish thought out of her mind. For she shouldn't be so selfish. After all, she didn't know if he felt the same.

Rin smiled, he clearly felt something for her. "Thank you again... You have no idea how much it means that you actually returned." He just kept smiling, truly happy that she had returned to him. "It's no wonder you managed to steal my heart.." He added softly, standing up as he started to approach her.

Lilith watched him approach her, standing just a few feet away from the shore of the river.
Looking up at him with a smile. She was tempted to move over to him, to hug him.
She honestly wished he could've come along with her. His company would've been the greatest. "If only you had asked me to stay." She thinks to herself softly. Not catching the second part about her stealing his heart.

"Lilith.. You would make me the happiest living being if you would stay with me...at least for awhile longer." Rin stood just a foot or two away from her. "I don't know why, but I'm unable to get you off my mind...in short, I've fallen for you. I love you with it everything I have." He admitted truthfully, his eyes never leaving hers.

Lilith sets her stuff down as she heard him. A smile blossoming onto her lips.
"I'd love to stay!" She says as she moves forward, closing the space between him.
"It's such a relief that I'm not the only one feeling this way..." She completely closes the space as she hugs him softly. Relaxing a little.

Rin tensed slightly at the hug, he wan't quite used to physical affection. He nonetheless relaxed and returned it. "I'm glad... Thank you, Lilith... Thank you..." He spoke softly, smiling a bit. The pained loneliness slowly seemed to leave his voice. Rin was truly happy that she had actually come back and now he had even more of a reason to protect these woods. Lilith provided him with the gentle touch he's longed for.

Lilith pulls back for a moment. Looking up at him as she smiles. "So, are ya hungry?" She asks him. Super happy that he had asked her to stay.

Rin nodded in response, "I'm pretty curious to see how food from the outside worlds tastes." He replied happily, the smile never leaving his face.
