I enjoy playing as a DM in medieval/fantasy environments, although I can be somewhat unreliable in the long term, so please be patient with me if you intend to stay in said environments. ;o

Hello and welcome! I'm entirely new to the roleplay scene entirely and rpr has been my first taste of roleplay. What's a DM?

Hi Tarin: A DM, short for Dungeon Master, is a person who orchestrates the flow of the role play. They control the environment as well as the characters required to bring that environment to life, but still give enough control to the players where if the player(s) do something that the DM isn't prepared for, the DM will improvise. It's not unreasonable for a DM to be playing 4-5 characters at once.

..Also, looks like Elerra there's as nuts about NWN as I was. ;o

(Probs best not to call me Merry here, that was a childhood nickname and I might not get it.)

If you want to get your feet wet before DMing stuff you can always drop by my threads in the fantasy rp section. No obligations; I'm basically using them for the same reason, as its been a while since I've done forum rp.

Aha! *NWN high five* It's funny; I literally just discovered that the old RP server (Amia) that I spent most of my time on over 10 years ago is still active for the original game! I've downloaded the HAK files for it today.

It's such a wonderful game.

I used to be obsessive over character builds; would spend hours trying to crunch it into perfection once one came to mind. ;o I wasn't much for RP, although I never really gave it much of a chance either. Just doesn't seem right being overly descriptive in a game where you can actually move.
