"My Tactic only failed because your PATHETIC Chimera were too weak!" The Chimera spat, throwing Himler to the ground. He wiped the blood from his face. "My tactic failed because you were too incompetent!" The Revenant snarled. "I could make better Chimera DRUNK! And with HALF as many resources as our Master gave you!" The Revenant snarled. He pulled his sword back, about to impale the Necromancer before an idea entered his mind. A twisted grin rew on his face, as he let out a sickening cackle. "I can make a better Chimera, and I will make a better Chimera." The Revenant said, picking Himler up and making his way down to the Outpost.

By now at least half the Horde had been destroyed between Heinrich and the Guards. Heinrich had gotten to Jackie and healed her to the best of his ability. She'd still be out of the fight, and she'd need more extensive healing. He had a Guard take her inside the Outpost to keep her safe, before rejoining the fight. By now, only a Third of the Horde remained, before a cold dread fell over the Outpost.

The Revant stepped through the broken gates of the Outpost. He drew his sword, before he impaled Himler on it, with a sadistic grin on his face. He threw Himler's lifeless body to the ground. Once Himler died, so did the horde. They fell to the ground, nothing more than dusty old corpses now. Heinrich glanced over his shoulder before turning to the Revenant. He snarled. "A Revenant." He said. Heinrich was about to charge before the Revenant began to chant, his sword glowing with purple energy. Heinrich charged forward, only to be thrown back as a shock wave erupted from the Revenant's sword. The Revenant stabbed his sword into the ground, purple cracks breaking through the ground.

One moved to Himler's corpse before encircling it. Three more went out to the disabled Chimera, encircling them. The Revenant continued his chanting as the Chimera began to melt, turning into the thick black tar that flowed through their veins. The giant blobs of tar began to to move through the cracks to Himler's corpse, before the tar engulfed him and quickly began to grow in mass until it was nearly the size of a Wyvern. The tar hardened, forming armor in some places. Globs of Tar stretched out out, forming into misshapen limbs.

The tar began to change. It became a pale, lifeless, and scaly hide. The beast's head looked like some kind of mutated Aligator, with razor sharp teeth jutting from its maw, Four stuck out of the back of its jaw,forming sharp tusks. One arm was long, muscular, and malformed, with black claws poking out of the wrist, elbow, and hand. Two more arms formed on the other side, both being more natural looking though still muscular. The beast's legs were short and column like, and a long powerful tail waved behind it. The tail ended in a malformed head. The Lumbering abomination turned and glared down at the Revenant. "Kill the Paladins, and the guards." The Revenant ordered. The Chimera roared, it's roar echoign for miles. It spun around, swinging its massive arm. The arm slammed into the paladins and sent them flying before it turned to the Guards.

As the spirit wandered in and swiftly struck down this man who was almost certainly the Necromancer Wilhelm watched as the horde crumbled with their link the the living world struck away. Heinrich then struck but was swiftly blown back. "Heinrich!" Wilhelm says grabbing and helping his fellow Paladin stand. He glances over to the Remnant but with sword raised before he can strike the new Chimera starts forming. He looks on in horror at the amalgamation which forms. Using the body of the Necromancer was unexpected. The beast roared. It was larger than the others but would it be stronger? Wilhelm wondered this as the beast moved with great speed slamming into them. Sending them impacting into the guards behind. Most managed to leap out of the way but one man had his leg broken and likely some ribs from Wilhelm laying on him. The man screamed but before the Paladin could do anything from apologizing to healing him he sensed the creature approach and swung his blade leaping back into combat.

Behind them towards the Revenant an Elf shoots an arrow at him. Hitting between the plates in his armor.
"Surrender!" He cries as three halberd wielding elves approach and surround him. Blades pointed to him. Their tips coated in blood from the zombies. Another arrow drawn the Elf prepares to fire.

The arrow hit, as the Revenant let out a groan. The Revenant drew his sword. The blade began to glow orange as heat was channeled into it. "Move, or die. I do not have the time nor patience to waste with you weaklings." The Revenant hissed, pulling the arrow from his flesh.


Wilhelm's sword stabbed into the Chimera's hand, stabbing between the knuckles. It roared, before swinging its arm into the air, pulling Wilhelm high into the air with his sword. "RADIANT JUDGEMENT" Roared Heinrich, sending a wave of energy flying into the Chimera. The wave hit, but seemingly did nothing. The Chimera glared down at the Half-Orc, letting out a loud wail, before it brought its giant fist down, with Wilhelm still clinging to his sword. The fist hit the ground, sending a powerful shockwave rocketing out. The wave hit Heinrich, throwing him, and whatever Guards mustered the courage to fight, flying through the court yard.

The sword came out of the creatures hand oozing the same thick tar like blood. Wilhelm was tossed to the side as the impact shot up dirt and rock. Denting the ground somewhat. Wilhelm got up and his sword glowed.
"Holy Arrow." He says shooting out a bolt of energy to impact the beast in the back.

The battle nearby was looked at in awe and shock by the archer. He was distracted for a moment and the Revenant's chilling threat caused them to sweat slightly. This thing wasn't a normal undead creature. Pulling back his arrow the Elf glared at him.
"We warned you." He says and as his sentence ended his next arrow went flying as he quickly drew another.

A snarl escaped the Revenant as he began to walk forward. He raised his sword and swung it down, striking one of the guards, before the Archer shot another arrow at him. The Revenant roared, before shoving a hang out, saying something in an unknown language. A purple orb shot from the Revenant's hand and impacted the Archer. The orb exploded when it hit.

The Chimera's wailed as it was hit. Its tail shot to the side, slamming into Wilhelm, and throwing him into the walls of the outpost. Heinrich let out a bellow as he charged forward, swinging his axe into the chimera's leg. It didn't do anything. "RADIANT JUDGEMENT!" He roared, pulling his axe back, before swing once more. The wave of energy shot out when the Axe hit, but was almost instantly stopped by the beast's leg.

The orb hit the Elf and showing true fear in his eyes was essentially vaporized being reduced to ash. The remaining Elves struck forward with their halberds. The armor piercing blades lunged into the Revenants location. The effect of this likely not going as they wished.

Wilhelm drew back his blade and struck the beast. His sword however barely got in. The creature had scales atop its thick hide. Making it instantly more durable than the last few. He pulled back and glared at the beast. It needed to have some vulnerability. He then noticed the neck.
"Heinrich. The neck." He punching the beasts back hoping to gain it's attention.

Heinrich glanced up, seeing the beast's unprotected neck. The Chimera roared as it's back was attacked, leaving it open. "RADIANT JUDGEMENT!" Heinrich roared, lobbing another energy wave, this one aimed at the beasts neck. The blast hit, but barely left a scratch. Even the Chimera's thinner underbelly was too thick to be penetrated. The Chimera's large arm shot forward, taking a hold of Heinrich, before thrashing him about. The beast slammed Heinrich into the ground. Heinrich roared in pain as several audible cracks could be heard.

The Revenant chuckled as the blades pierced its flesh. "It's going to take more than that to kill me." The Revenant said, skewering one of the guards. He swung his freehand into another, throwing the guard off. The Revenant grabbed the Halberd and pulled it out, chanting something as the entirety of the Halberd began to glow orange. He swung it into the last guard, with the molten Halberd coiling around the guard and immediately beginning to burn through his armor. The Revenant pulled the last two halberds in him out, before making his way towards the Guard he'd thrown back.

The coiled guard screamed out as hot metal burnt into his flesh a popping sound was heard as it burnt into him. It and the guard fell into two halves. The middle melted away. The skewed Elf dropped to the ground while the final was knocked away. His weapon just out of reach he crawled for it. Though he saw it had no effect on this supernatural opponent.

"How's that possible?" Wilhelm asks seeing the lack of damage. "It resists our magic?" He asks slashing into it's hand as it swung around Heinrich. As the other Paladin dropped his axe Wilhelm took it and with his blade on the creatures hand slammed the axe underneath just past its forearm at the joint. Hoping it would drop his ally.

The Chiemra let go of Heinrich, but swung its fist into Wilhelm, throwing him through the air. By now the Guards had brought out several cannons. They took aim, before firing. The Chimera roared in pain as the cannon balls hit. Despite hitting the beast, they bounced off its hide, falling to the ground.

The Revenant kicked the Halberd away, before grabbing the guard and hoisting him into the air. "What portion of the outpost is Potillo's office in?" The Revenant asked.

The Elf was raised and full of fear but years of training and a culture devoted to loyalty and honor helped him stand strong. He didn't say a thing but his eye twitched and quickly shot to the building she was in. He then a second later was looking back at his attacker. He spat in the Revenant's face.

Wilhelm crashed into a nearby wall and wiped blood from his mouth. He glared up at the creature as it was hit by the canons. It felt the pain of the rounds but roared out not going to fall yet. Standing he panted. Clasping his sword he began to channel energy.
"I've got no other choice." He says as his sword starts glowing. "Holy blade!" He shouts as holy energy fills his sword. He lunges forward and slashes for the beasts chest. His sword infused with holy energy that started to drain his own energy to use would hopefully work.

The Revenant followed the Guard's gaze, before he was spat at. The Revenant snarled. His grip tightened around the Guard's neck until he heard a crack, snapping the Guard's neck. He dropped the Guard before going over to the building. He tried to push the door open, before realizing it was barricaded. The Revenant began to kick into the door. It took several tries, but he eventually broke through it. Guards charged the Revenant but were made short work of as the Revenant made his way through the building.

The Holy Magic infused blade sliced through the Chimera's flesh. The Chimera roared in pain as tar spilled from the wound. It wasn't long before the tar began to solidify, blocking the wound. The Chimera let out another roar, slamming its massive fist into the ground, sending a shock wave tearing through the outpost, sending anyone who was in the shock wave's radius flying into the air, before they crashed back down. The Chimera pulled a large chunk of the ground out, before lobbing it at the Guards who were at the cannons.

By now less than a quarter of the guards remained. The majority were out fighting the Chimera so the Revenant had no contest until he broke into the office. It would seem empty. The bookshelf was mere feet away but before he could reach it a well shot knife hit him in the shoulder as a blade slashed in front of him. It came out of no where but fell from the left.
"Begone monstrosity." A voice says as a knife stabs into his other arm and the other is pulled out as something moves quick and with swift agility gets to the other side of him without being seen.

The canons were crushed and knocked about by the massive chunks of stone being thrown. A guard was crushed by stone and Wilhelm looked on in horror. He managed to wound or at least break its skin but it wasn't enough. He looked over to see Heinrich wounded. He clenched his teeth. What were they to do?

The Knife stabbed through the Revenant, not doing much if anything. The Revenant snarled. The book was within his reach, but this pest would quite possibly destroy it. He stepped forward, approaching the Desk in front of the bookcase. If he could draw this pest out, he could easily kill them.

The Chimera continued its rampage, tearing more chunks of the ground out and lobbing them at the Archer towers, which still had many archers in them. "H-HOW DO WE KILL THIS THING?!" Screamed one of the guards, who narrowly avoided a boulder thrown by the Chimera.

"You're the one leading this attack?" The voice asks as the blade comes from behind stabbing into his right arm joint. Opposite side to the elbow hoping to lock his arm there. The sword then goes in front of his throat as the figure is now behind him. Tall and wearing the armor of an Elven Honorguard it was Potillo's other guard. He sat waiting for his response ready to kill his foe when he needed.

"Evacuate. Pull back and get out. This thing will destroy the whole outpost" Wilhelm cries out going for his sword. "I'll hold it off as long as I can." He was sweating. He felt like he would probably die here. He lunged forward ready to give his life to hopefully save the remaining people here.

The Revenant grinned as he began to chuckle. He spoke in the unknown language once more, and the Honorguard was frozen in place. The Revenant pushed the sword away from his neck, before turning to face the Honorguard. He pulled the sword from his arm, before he brought his sword up and thrust it forward, impaling the Honorguard. He pulled the sword back out and sheathed it, before turning and walking to the bookcase, walking around the desk. It took him a few seconds to find the book. He pulled the book out, beforeh e heard a whimper. The Revenant turned, seeing Potillo hiding under her desk, trembling. He scoffed before he made his way out.

"What of those in the outpost?" Asked one of the Guards, before Windhelm attacked the Chimera. It swatted him away, before it turned its attention to the buildings in the outpost, smelling people inside. It began to walk over to one of the buildings, before it stopped. The wound Windhelm had left had almost completely healed by now, but quickly reopened, spilling more of its tar-like blood. The chimera's already decayed skin began to decay further. It roared in confusion.

"Bring them..." Wilhelm pauses when he sees the Chimera start to screech. It's body was decaying. Wilhelm was unsure why but he took his chance. Charging the beast he slashed at it's arm. If it was starting to die then he would unleash an unrelenting assault on it. He had a second breath and gust of life. He could get out of this alive if he kept the creature busy wearing it down.

The chimera roared as it was attacked again, it turned, swinging it's large arm into Wilhelm, throwing him back. The Chimera staggered, nearly falling over before it caught itself. It's secondary arms had begun to wilt, quickly losing muscle mass. It tried to raise its arm once more, but quickly fell forward, catching itself. The Chimera let out a rage filled roar, before turning, slamming its tail into the ground.

The Revenant left the office building. He scowled. He could immediately recognize the signs of degeneration in it. He was too hasty to make the horrid amalgamation. The magic in it alone couldn't hold it's unusual, massive form together. At least not for long. Ultimately, it didn't matter. The Revenant coudl see the most dangerous of the Paladins was almost dead. The only other one that could pose a threat to him was busy, and he'd be gone by the time the Chimera fell apart. The Revenant made his way to the gates.

Crashing into a pile of the crumbled zombies he crushes the freshly resurrected corpse. Wilhelm pulled himself up. Blade drawn he saw how the creature was crumbling. Skin flaked off and veins were showing on the muscular arm. But it was due to decreasing mass. A process like starving to death but instead of being over days was happening in seconds or minutes. Wilhelm saw from the corner of his eye the Revenant making his way to the gate. Seeing the Chimera was dying he changed his focus.
"You're not getting away." He says as his sword glows with holy energy. He had used a lot of holy magic tonight and his strength was waving. "Holy Arrow!" He says firing a blast at the Revenant. A single pointed bolt of holy energy shot out at him.

The Revenant glanced overh is shoulder as he heard Wilhelm shout. The Arrow shot forward, but was quickly blocked by the Chimera's massive hand. It had managed to get over to the Revenant and protected its master. A chuckle escaped the Revenant. "Don't you have bigger matters to attend to?" The Revenant questioned, as the Chimera roared, tar spilling out of its mouth. By now, one of its legs had gone limp, and whilst its hand was still there, the Holy Arrow had cut through a good portion of it. The Revenant pulled an orb from his pocket and smashed it on the ground, releasing smoke. Soon, a whisp shot out of the smoke, flying off into the distance.

Wilhelm saw the wisp fly away and returned his attention to the Chimera. It's body now looking more necrotic. Decaying and crumbling it would seem to be weakening by the second. But it was still dangerous and so Wilhelm knew what to do. Lunging forward he began hacking into it. Cutting gash after gash into its formally unbreakable flesh as it began to ooze and melt away. Armor crumbling and flesh turning into the tar like substance.
