Yeah, I recommend you go read the light novels, manga, and anime! They're very interesting with minor changes to the anime (ex, when we first meet Izaya). Romance is possible, combat is very likely.
Dulalala was basically what Yen Press thought is translated to, thus the random title of this RP!
Okay, now to the actual plan for this RP! It'll be a group RP depending on how many replies this gets. I'm looking for people to play as their OCs (if some are similar to canon characters, it might work out...possibly). The only canon characters I might keep in are Celty the dullahan and Shinra the shut-in doctor. As for setting, this will take place in Ikebukuro or another large city! If we decide not to do it in Ikebukuro, then we'll just say Celty and Shinra are on a very long vacation. :S Also, gangs are involved in the series, so we'll have a colorless gang called the Foresse. You may lead a color gang, just talk to me first to see if it's okay.
Like I said before, I'm cool with OCs similar to canon characters. So, for that, I'll make a template for you to submit for a character you created, plan on creating, or just have in your head.
Feel free to be descriptive with the template or not! I don't care.. Heck, you don't even have to use it! xD

Here is a summary of the plot and what it is!
Durarara!! (デュラララ!!), often shortened to DRRR!!, is a Japanese light novel series written by Ryohgo Narita, with illustrations by Suzuhito Yasuda, that has also been adapted into a Japanese anime series. Mikado Ryūgamine, a young boy who longs for the exciting life of the big city, moves to Ikebukuro to attend Raira Academy with his childhood friend Masaomi Kida, whom he has not seen since he was young. After the two meet at the train station, they set out to explore the streets of Ikebukuro. Masaomi warns Mikado about people he doesn't want to cross in the city, such as the violent and superhumanly strong man Shizuo Heiwajima; the information broker Izaya Orihara; and the mysterious gang known as "The Dollars." After running into some of the side characters, Mikado sees a local legend called the "Black Rider" who rides around Ikebukuro on a black bike that occasionally neighs like a horse and who is rumored to have no head under her helmet. The "Black Rider's" real name is Celty Sturluson; she is an Irish dullahan who is in Ikebukuro looking for her stolen head. The narrative follows all of the characters equally, showing how their lives intersect and create a greater plot line from each character's knowledge of common events.
