The White Willow House, so large it could be considered a castle, resides in an untouched forest just a few miles outside of town. To outsiders, it's a simple orphanage that will take in even the most odd and unruly child, and care for them until they leave. But naturally, not everything is as it seems. On the inside, you'll find children with special abilities wilder than any imagination could ever dream up. The White Willow House will accept all children ages 0-18, along with any ability they may possess. We promise to give each orphan the love and care they deserve.

A frigid breeze had swept through the massive forest during the winter morning. Through the tall pines, the White Willow House could be heard, it's aged exterior creaking and groaning in complaint of the wind. As the ground outside was sprinkled with sparkling white frost, the inside took a pleasant contrast. Each room was stockpiled with wood to keep fireplaces lit for days. Warmth swelled through the House, giving a cozy feeling to each room.

Petra was thankful for this, as she often found herself cold rather easily. At the time, she was relaxing in the common room, curled up on the couch with an odd-looking book. It was large, thick, and had an ancient leather binding. Its pages were yellowed, and they crackled every time they moved. Still, that did not stop her stormy gray eyes from carefully scanning each line, studying hard to work on her spell casting. While she flipped the pages with one hand, the other held a simple ivory wand; she was moving it almost subconsciously, as lilac wisps trailed from the tip of it. They levitated in the air for a few seconds, before fading out of existence.

Kino Silently Looked out the Window staring at the Tree swaying from side to side in the distance. His Ears twitched where he heard a Page turn like Book. He sighed and decided to go investigate what was going on now. Kino found himself in the common room and saw nothing but he Knew someone was in here... He leaned against the wall waiting for something to happen... But nothing.... He decided to leave and go in the Kitchen.

Kino had his ears hidden with his Black hoodie and His tail tucked in. His hair as usual covered his Pale gray eyes.

Natalia walked downstairs from the bedrooms, down the hallway and to the common room with her sketchbook, charcoal and pencils in hand. Tali experimented a lot with her hair color and style but this time she dressed very simply with a black sweater, skinny jeans, and traditional black and white converse sneakers. Her hair was her natural dark brown color and draped past her shoulders down her back.

She'd give a casual wave to Petra as she entered. "Hey Petra." and would sit down at a table nearby. She'd open her sketch book to a half finished sketch of a snowy forest - much like the one that was outside and began to finish it, carefully shading the shadows of the trees in contrast to the bright snow. Since Kino left for the kitchen, Natalia didn't see him around, at least not yet.

Leah was brushing her hair in her room calmly looking out her window. Leahs room was dark without any light... She heard someone going down stairs she decided to check out what was going on so she moved as a shadow Ending up in the common room..

Leah Saw Petra and Natalia there.. Leah only watched in her shadow form In the corner of the room. It was quite noticeable that she was there since the shadow had the figure of a Girl...Leah stared at Natalia finishing up her drawing and Petra Still studying

Leo had slipped in through the front door, making sure not to let too much of the morning air creep in after the complaints he had gotten before. Clad in a dark hoodie and jeans, with the hood pulled over his face, he seemed more like a mysterious figure than anybody else. Still, he pulled it back to reveal his familiar harsh hazel orbs, slightly aglow from his recent feeding. He crossed over the foyer, dusting the frost off of his shoulders.

Stepping into the common room, his eyes scanned over everybody, calculating and judgmental. He could easily identify the shadowy figure of a girl in the corner, Natalia working on a sketch at a table, and Petra reading that old book of hers. Kino didn't seem to be around at the time. Leo continued into the room, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he did so. After one final glance-over, he leapt over the back of the couch, collapsing onto the cushions in a huff.

Afterwards, he leaned over and tapped on the cover of Petra's book. "You ever gonna give up on that old thing?" He questioned in a monotonous voice.

Petra was as comfortable as ever in her lounging attire; a large, loose-knit gray sweater and a pair of black skinny jeans was all she needed to feel relaxed. She was so engrossed in her studying, she was practically in a trance. She thought she could lay about like this all day. Of course, once a few more people had gathered in the common room, she had a few other things to occupy her with.

Natalia had first joined her, entering the room with her usual sketchbook and a casual greeting thrown in Petra's direction. She finally tore her eyes away from the pages to reply, "Heya Tali." Of course, then she went right back to studying. It wasn't until Leo had made his entrance that she finally gave up her full attention. He collapsed next to her without warning, startling her so badly that she dropped her wand. She scrambled to sit upright, out of her lounging postition. "Jesus, you scared me!" She gasped out, slowly reaching up to reposition the black beanie over her silver hair.

She made a face at him when he mentioned her spell book. "I'll have you know, this book is the best mentor I've ever had. What, are you worried I'll get smarter than you or somethin'?" She teased, an impish grin spreading across her lips.

Natalia formed a small smirk at the two on the couch. "Are we going to have another fight night to see who's practiced their abilities the hardest?" She'd carefully finish the details on her drawing before blowing some leftover charcoal off the paper. She'd nod and smile in acceptance at her work before turning to look at the shadowy figure in the corner. She didn't know exactly what Leah and Kensuke were, but she knew that they had similar demonic heritages much like she did. Tali would call out to Leah.

"Hey come join us, you don't have to be a shadow in the corner like that." She smiled as she sat back in her chair and eyed the group in the common room.

Lei was dressed probably the most notably of the people in the house- two sweaters and a jacket, with tights under her skinny jeans, though her shoes were normal converse she never took them off. "W-why is i-it so c-cold!" She shivers as she walks into the common room, rubbing her arms and audibly chattering. She walks straight over to the fire and sits dangerously close to it, for any human this would burn but not Lei, as it was her affinity for fire that causes her to be so cold on the chilly winter mornings.

Her 4"9' body was barely noticeable as she entered, especially if she had not talked, though she pays no mind to the others in the room as she stares blankly into the fire.

Leah came out of her shadow form her Vivid Bright blue eyes scanned the room.. "Hello.." She sat next to Natalia with no smile on her face as usual.. Leah dark hair covered half of her face as she stared at Petra book... She always was interested in Magic but she never dared to try use her own magic...

She looked around trying to find Kino but no sign of him she shrugged and kept listening to the conversation...

Kino ears twitched when he heard some noise in the common room He looked back at the stake he was about to eat.. The werewolf pouted " I'll eat you later.."

He got up and walked into the Common room and greeted everyone with a small smile "Good morning every one.." He sat next to Natalia looking at her sketch "Wow.... Your pretty good at this aren't you?.. The only thing I can draw is Stick figures and a smiley face" He said with a small laugh

Tali shrugged as Kino went in to inspect her drawing. "Yeah, I've practiced quite a bit. Art is what kept me sane when I couldn't figure out why I had powers and when I was going from foster home to foster home." she paused to think for a moment before talking again. "This place isn't perfect by any means, but I'm glad there's people here that finally get me." Tali would stretch her arms as she eyed Lei by the fire.

"Welcome to forest country, where it snows into spring and rains during the summer."

Petra's eyes turned to Natalia, the grin growing wider on her lips. She jumped up from the couch, taking on a dramatic stance. "No need for a fight night! Everyone knows I'd beat Leo in a fight, easy." She spoke confidently, although she mainly meant to tease the vampire. She put both hands on her hips, looking back to stick her tongue out at him in a childish manner.

Afterwards, she greeted Leah and Kino's entrances by using two fingers in a mock salute. She then leaned over, picking up the wand she had dropped earlier. She gave it a glance, twirling it in her fingers every once in a while.

Kino grinned as well "Oh and I was actually looking forward to watch man!" He smiled up at Petra and glanced at Leo with a eyebrow raised.

For Kino he always loved seeing fights and loved getting into fights.. Kino glanced at Leah also he knew that Leah had Magic in her but... He never seen her use it... Kino was quite interested in what she can do..

Leah only listened with a small smile.. She liked to watch Petra use her Magic... But Leah was always to shy to use her own powers. She caught Kino glance and went back to Listening. Leah was a type to listen more then talking since she was still shy to the new foster home and the people there too.. But she hoped that she will soon warm up to the place...

Leo watched Petra's dramatic declaration with a smirk. Once she finished, he wordlessly stood and used a hand to playfully shove her back down onto the couch. "I think fight night would be a great idea. It would prove once and for all that I can kick Petra's ass." He spoke nonchalantly, moving one hand to his pocket while his smirk grew wider.

"A tournament," he suddenly announced, "Everybody can join. The true winner gets...bragging rights. Who's in?" He looked around the room, giving everybody a questioning look.

Lei sat mostly silent in front of the fire, broken only by her occasional chattering and cold moans. As leo mentions a tournament, Lei pipes up and goes to speak before she sneezes, igniting her hands and feet on fire, effectively singing her shoes and the cuffs of her jacket. "Ohhh come on!" She sighs, agitated at the fact that she noe has to buy more clothes... "I would be in for a tournament!" She says as gets over the singed clothes. "You all know I'll kick your butts!"

Petra, feeling a sudden jerk at her shoulder, fell backwards onto the couch with a huff. She stared up at Leo, shooting an accusing glare at the back of his head. After repositioning the beanie over her hair, she used the arm as support to quickly stand up on the couch. While her bare feet did sink a bit into the cushions, she managed to make herself taller than Leo.

She pointed a finger at Lei, with an arched brow and a smirk as she declared, "Ha, as if! You guys talk too much; we'll see who can really kick ass on the battlefield. I'm all in." She crossed her arms over her chest, satisfied with her statement.

"Just you wait until I singe those pretty little eyebrows off of that smug face." Lei says with a cheeky smile, her expression incredibly cocky. Which for someone with the fighting spirit she has, mixed with her very short hieght, would considered odd if she didn't possess that quirk.

She takes her singed shoes and jacket off, revealing two flame red mouse ears atop her head. "So when is it anyway?"

Natalia smirked at everyone. "Alright, same place as last time - the basement at nine thirty this evening, thirty minutes after the matrons send us to our rooms. Prepare to fight for victory!" she'd raise her fist in the air as she stood up. "Who would like to be a second judge who can take my place when it's my turn and vice versa?"

Kino jumped up with a bright smile on his face "I know I don't got Magic but I know some who does!" Kino looked straight at Leah with a encouraging smile. He only wanted to Help Leah open up to the place and not have to hide herself..
