There was an old castle located not too far from your village and rumor has it, an evil wizard lives there and nobody dares to enter the castle ground. You've been dared by your friends to go and explore the castle all by yourself and you've set your journey early in the morning without hesitation. You were disappointed when you found nothing aside from dusty halls and broken furniture before leaving, not realizing that someone is glaring at you from far.
You wake up the next day just like how you usually would, but suddenly almost half of the villagers are terribly ill including your mother. You knew that you angered the wizard. You knew that you're the reason why this happened and decided to go back to the castle, find the wizard and probably fight him if you need to, and lift the curse that he placed on the village. What he didn't expect was the wizard is nothing like you were expecting. Perhaps, staying with him for a while as the wizard brews a cure for the villagers isn't a bad idea?

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Renaissance
A peaceful setting, but with a chance for small fights and struggles to break out on a very small scale.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
