On a cool morning, the young Firebender was making her way towards the Earth Kingdom from the Fire Nation in hopes of being able to reunite with her older brother whom was supposedly killed five years ago during the great war. She prayed with the ruling of Firelord Zuko, the Earth Kingdom would be a bit more accepting of her in the time of need and desperation. As the ship continued heading towards the port of the Earth Kingdom capital, Rose took a rest on the nearby beanch by one of the ship's railing. She was wearing her typical ocean blue and silver armor with her sword on her back and the two daggers on her side. Her hair was put up in a ponytail for once. While she wore a smile on her face, Rose's eyes glistened with a pained sadness.

Leaning against the nearby railing, Serenity was boredly fiddling around with a small sphere of water. She was trying to figure out how to spend her time on the ship until they made it to port. Her clothing was the standard kimono-like tunic, her hair was pulled up into the traditional lair loops. She had a dagger at each hip, a quiver of arrows on her back, and a bow slung over shoulder.

Curled up into an odd shaped ball of fur, a polar bear dog was snoring loudly beside her. From how the light shined on her fur, it showed the muscular form of this beast. On each side of the polar bear dog was a large cask of water attached to its riding saddle. From the looks of it, it was for carrying water on long trips.

Serenity caught movement in the corner of her eye, casually turning her attention to it. Seeing Rose, Serenity kept quiet and observed her spot, noticing she was from the Fire Nation. Depending on her temperament, it could be a pleasant or a troublesome encounter. Still fiddling with her water sphere, Serenity kept calm and was trying not to draw attention to herself.

Looking over at her animal companion, it might be easier said than done.

As a Firebender, many people immediately distrusted her, Rose's reputation as a mercenary didn't help either. Despite the fearsome reputation she holds, she had a soft spot for animals and approached the ball of fur with sparkles in her eyes. Not paying attention to the person who she presumed to be the owner, Rose knelt down besides it, extending her hand for the animal to sniff at it. There was about thirty minutes before the boat arrived at the Earth Kingdom.

(I didn't runaway just was exhausted from Sci-fi Valley Con, then the unavoidable con crash. Plus side I might have more color for a few days (not saying I've been burnt) verses the pale white tone that makes you want to yell the beacons of Gondor has been lite.)

Misu felt something lingering in front of her face, opened one eye, and noticed Rose extending her hand towards her. Misu curiously sniffed her hand and gently licked it, after taking a moment to decide if she liked the stranger or not. Misu shifted her weight a bit before getting up and stretched, getting Serenity's attention.

Noticing Rose and Misu, Serenity quietly observed for a brief moment and decided to see if she could try break the ice. She gently knelt down beside them, ''Umm.....she is pretty friendly despite her size.'' Serenity said, sounding a bit nervous.
"Great and now I sound like an idiot.'' Serenity thought as she was mentally face palming at herself.
