Rogue looked up at him and slowly lowered her hand. Trembling slightly, she nodded a yes and looke at the floor. Taking in a deep, shaky breath, she slowly stood up and pulled her hair away from her face. "Im fine. Thank you for asking," she said and offered a small, shaky smile.

Nitro lightly touched her cheek with his index finger,then sighed. "At least your wound isn't that bad." He blew on it just a little as a cool,calming feeling healed it. "Better?"

Rogue flinched at first when he reached up to touch her cheek. Then she slightly blushed as he touched her cheek lightly. Closing her eyes briefly as he blew on her cheek then they fluttere open as he asked her a question. Giving him a small nod then realizing she had stepped a bit closer to him.

A apple red blush spread across her cheeks and she stepped away. Brushing past him as she walked into the bathroom and splashed cool water onto her face to cool herself down. Leaning over the sink, she let out a heavy sigh. Then stood up straight, dried off her face, and walked back out into the main room. "Your okay right? Catching those bullets didnt hurt you did they?" she asked as she stopped in front of him.

Niro looked at his hand and only got nicked. "mmmm...so I did get hurt. How did I not feel that?" Nitro never noticed,but he had really late reactions to pain. His nerves were slowly dying out from as many times as he felt pain. A slight smirk fell across his face as he looked at his hand drip blood.

Rogue took his hand in her soft, warm ones. Inspected it for a second before gently pulling him into the bathroom where she ran cool water. Without a word, she put his hand under the water and lightly, carefuly brushed her thumb over the nick on his hand. "Stay here and keep it under the water," she ordered quietly before leaving the bathroom. Where she took out a small strip of guaze. Walking back into the bathroom, where she turned off the water and took a soft, white rag.

Rogue lightly, gently pressed the rag on his nick to dry it off. Then she softly dried his hand free of dampness before wrapping the gauze around his hand and tucked in the loose end. "There," she said proud of her work and looked up at Nitro, blushing at the realization that once again they were awful close. Then there was a soft shuffling on the other side of the bedroom door, making her freeze. Nitro's hand still in both of hers.

Nitro heard but paid no heed to the noise. He removed his hand from hers befor putting it on her shoulder and moving his head down,then started to whisper in her ear. "You helped me so much and for now all I can do is thank you. Do know that I will pay you back for helping me." He smiled and used his other hand to touch her cheek softly befor he backed up and walked out,hardly having any footstep noises.

Rogue blushed as he bent down close to her and couldnt help the shiver that escaped from him whispering in her ear. Her eyes widened as she realized what he said and watched him as he left the bathroom. "Really a thank you is enough.." she whispered to herself. Then she peeked out from the bathroom to look at Nitro. "You dont have to repay me.." she said to him and the light blush was still on her cheeks.

He unzipped his pants and looked back at her with a smile. "It's just how I am. I prefer to pay you back for this. No matter what you say." He rubbed his bare chest for a minute,trying not to scratch it as he unbuttoned his pants and took it off. Luckly he always kept spare pants with him,but no one ever knows where he pulls it out from. He was soon only in his boxers as he looked at her with a smirk.

Rogue's blush turned into a deep red and she couldnt stop it as her eyes roamed down his body. But she managed to stop her eyes just at his waistline. Locking her eyes back with Nitro's she then quickly looked away. "I-Im so-Sorry," she stammered then dissappeared back into the bathroom so she wasnt tempted to look.

He smiled and put on a new pair of pants that were black,but he kept his shirt off for now. He walked into the bathroom to get something while also hugging her a little. "I promise you that no matter how much pain my soul goes into,I will help you befor I help myself."

He walked out of the bathroom and sat down with his eyes closed.

Rogue's breath hitched in her throat as Nitro hugged her. Flinching as she expected him to do something bad to her. It was what she was used to after all. But when he just made her a promise and left, she leaned against the sink in a little bit of confusion. Finally she left the bathroom and sat next to him, looking at him. "Why do you want to help me so much?" she asked quietly and couldnt help it as she reached up and brushed his bangs softly away from his eyes.

"Because you helped me several times and I didn't ask for your help. You're not asking for my help either but I'm still going to help you." He opened one eye to look at her with his seductive green eyes. "I don't care if you want my help or not,but I still will help someone like you." He smiled and closed his eyes again.

Rogue smiled a little and felt at ease around Nitro. Then she tackled him in a hug, sending him falling onto his back as she hugged him tightly. Bruying her head in his chest and caring less that he was shirtless. "Thank you.." she murmured.

His eyes widened and he blushed deeply as he placed a soft hand on her head. "Dont mention it..." He stroked her hair softly and slightly smirked. "You're a strong girl..I swear I couldn't win an arm wrestling match with you." He lowered his hand and rubbed her back.

Rogue sat up and grinned. "Nah you probably couldnt," she agreed with a playful smirk. Without realizing it, she was straddeling his waist since she sat up. Poking his bare tummy playfully, she smiled then stuck out her tongue at him.

Nitro smirked just a bit. "That's really cute I must say." Nitro pulled her close with his usual smirk and he stroked her hair.

Another blush blazed across her cheeks and her blue eyes glimmered with happiness at being called cute. "So where are you headed?" she asked quietly since he pulled her closer. Tracing a random design on his bare chest lightly with her fingertip since she wanted to be preoccupied.

"Somewhere...anywhere but the place I was in. The dog tags are only reminders about what happened and how I was but it is also a badge of great honor. It's really complicated to explain exactly why I left and where I was in the first place." He touched her cheek.

Rogue couldnt help but to lean into his touch and close her eyes. "I have reminders of where i was..but theyre not anything to be proud of or to show.." she said quietly. The only reminders she had were memories and scars, which is mostly why she didnt usually get so close to men. In the camp they had usually been forceful and abusing. So when she escaped, she tried to stay away from them as much as possible. But Nitro was different somehow. She didnt feel afraid to trust him.

He smiled a little and stroked her cheek with his thumb and sighed. "I guess together we can be even better then apart." He smiled and was slowly falling asleep. His hand slowly slipped off of her cheek and onto the floor and his breathing pattern changed.
