Protect M.A.D stands for Modded Animals Dome. 13 years after the start of mars colonizing earth was abandoned leaving only animals but soon scientists have came alone to test at mod them. they would put them in a dome to test in. but soon the animals have learned much about the scientists and what they are going to do to them, the animals want to start a up rising and be free.
The scientists want to force them into combat with added parts to them...

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.

I could join in with pirates (A machine and a human, respectively) as a villanous third faction, who only want to get as much data from the chaos as possible for their own gains.
Would like to go in with both, because the human alone wouldn't survive that long. But if he has to operate on his own, then it's okay too.
