Well, where to start?
As a hobbyist writer, an understanding of my own characters I plan to use in the future is essential, and thus: what can work better than playing as themselves?
But I'm more into (pirate) machines with artifical intelligences, so I guess it could get hard to find the right RP for them without twisting their "personalities" and "biographies" too much. So I'd say at first, that only RPs, where the players have to survive together on foreign planets would work. I'm sorry.
I have only been playing casual RPs in forums back then, but I think I have learned enough (With the help of this site) that I shouldn't cause problems through accidentally god-modding and such.
So basically: I'm hoping to develop a better understanding of my mechanical characters, making them more "alive" and finding someone or a group of players to have adventures with.
If you have some questions, grab some rum and don't hesitate to ask.
Also, please don't wonder that my pages are empty - I just had no time to work on them earlier.

Since actually all of my characters are medieval fantasy, I dont have anyone that would really match what you're looking for, and I apologize for that. But I felt like it would still be nice to say hello and wish you good luck here on RPR, I'm sure you'll find someone great to RP with. You would probably be good to make a proposal on the Propose A Game section of the Find RP page and be able to find some cool Sci-fi partners to work with (assuming Sci-fi is a good category to group you into).

It can be tricky finding roleplays for mechanical characters, but to me it seems like robots and androids and such are a growing interest, so your pirate machines aren't far off. I'm sure you'll catch someone's attention. Good luck!

Welcome to RP Repository. That's an unusual way to flesh out characters but as a writer I think that's a pretty cool idea.
