Cae stared at the world around her, what once was a bountiful green hill with joyus people stood out like a blackcloud promising rain. She sighed sadly, of royal decent she should have been able to save at least the land, let alone the lives they lost. She rested her head against the window pane when there was a knock,

"Madam~!" called one of her castle friends, Eckle, the boy stood by her door, "Cae, ma'am, You are about to have to speak now.." he said obviously concerend for her mental state, she nodded without looking at him and collected her thoughts. After the horrible time they were having, she felt bad getting dolled up and ready to greive, what ever happened to being raw?

She smiled faintly, trying to be in character, and gathered her skirts. The white formal was fitting and she liked it, but she couldn't get the look of the several small innocent little girls who had dreamed of it right before the crashing. She blinked several times, chasing away the tears, and took Eckle's arm to go down to the main event: The mass funeral.
