Hi, friends.

I've recently been listening to a podcast called The Adventure Zone, and I really like the casual and humorous style mixed with the playstyle of Dungeons and Dragons. As such, I wanted to make my own RP with a similar style. Though this is basically classic Dungeons and Dragons, I expect and encourage it to be humorous, casual, and fun for everyone involved. I have never acted as DM before, so if anyone is interested in being the DM then they are more than welcome to take that role, but otherwise I will be the DM.

There will most likely be multiple story arcs. To start out, here is the first quest/arc:

The heroes have all been eyeing a big bounty hunt. The target is the Wolf King, a giant wolf who has taken control of local packs. Since the wolves have been attacking and intercepting messengers, supply shipments, and merchants, the villagers desperately want the Wolf King gone. They will pay handsomely for his defeat. However, with so many scrambling to be the Wolf King's killer, the mayor has been presented with a bit of a dilemma: she doesn't know who to give the quest to. She comes to the decision that, if she cannot decide to give it to one person, then she will give it to all of you. This is where the story begins, as the brave adventurers start off down the road to the den of the Wolf King.

I'd be interested in joining as a player. I've got a roster of characters prepared for DnD so I can fill in any gaps needed.
Since this is inspired by TAZ will it be 5th edition based?

I'd be interested in this rp, I've done some D&D myself as a player and brasca would certainly be the type to help villagers in need.

Yeah I need to make a new character since I just retired my main character now excuse me while I make a new character and search for how to roleplay D&D

I DM weekly for a small group of friends, been doing so for the last few years! Personally, I blame the fact I've plenty of free time before work to oggle Pathfinder and 5E books for ideas, and I'm a big fan of Critical Role myself. Anyway, got plenty of DnD characters myself and , well, if you need anyone to ICly DM...Well, I certainly wouldn't mind either!

Thank you for your interest, and that's great news. To be honest, I haven't been DMing for long at all, and I still think that I need more experience. I'd love to get a chance to use some of my newer characters. I'd be happy to DM if you want to play, but if you want to take over as DM then go ahead!

Yes hello hi there so um I'd like to join my problem is that I deleted my only D&D character in my profile cleanup (awesome, I know). Is there anyway to switch up Mirabel to make her usable?

Hi! I have a freshly made barbarian that I think would be perfect for this I'm new to DnD but I've really been enjoying it! Being as you're newer to being a DM perhaps this could be a good learning experience for all involved! I'd. Love to join if that's possible if so is there anything I should be reading or researching a head of time to make play easier?

Yes, we can certainly make her usable. You can fill out a character sheet if you want, or if you're not into that kind of thing (it does take pretty long and get pretty in-depth), then you can just give me some of the basic info that you want to use for her -- class, stats, etc. PM me if you need help with it.

Hi, I'm glad that you're eager to start! Of course you're welcome to join, and we'll be starting shortly. The only research that I'd suggest is glancing over the basic rules if you don't know them already. This is 5th Edition-based, and there are some PDFs for the rulebooks online if you don't have your own copies.

Okay, everyone, we're going to be starting very soon. First of all, everyone has characters and is familiar with how to play D&D, correct? If not, I will quickly go over the rules, but otherwise I'll go ahead and create a forum. Additionally, I just need to make sure that everyone has their characters ironed out, so please let me know if there are any characters that need more work and I can help with that if need be.

Yes, of course Just please be aware that some people may treat you poorly or show fear or malice towards you since gnolls are seen as a brutal and aggressive people.
