It's 1:33 AM and I am slightly sick, slightly intoxicated and ALL creative! I would like to propose an RP to the fine digital citizens of this fine digital City Province? State? Country? EMPIRE!
Urban decay is a thing that has long (read: months) fascinated me. The idea of old buildings going back to the earth which bore the materials used to blight her face. Paint peeling from walls, rust covering bed frames, grass peeking up through cracks in the foundation. Beauty where there was once only a city block that could never stand up to nature's cruel, creeping fingers wanting the land back.
Enough of that poetry though. What I'm looking for are explorers, scientist, children, reckless teens. Someone to enter a formerly restricted area to find it in ruin. It doesn't matter who, but I do somewhat lean in preference to teens/early 20's.
The name of the game can be purely adventurous or perhaps it could be horror - after all, no one has been here in at least a decade.
No, I don't want Zombies, I don't want monsters. I'm inclined to leave off mutants too.
What I would ultimately like is people who are patient, willing to wait. People who are descriptive in their writing. I don't want something short. I want to see the world unfold around you.
I need to be forced into describing the world around me, not just telling the world what it should be. I need to feel the place live and breath around me. I want to read what someone else sees.
I personally would use pictures, real examples and write from there. I don't see the harm in it. Then, at least, if I look back I would see the world I just described. I could see and know for my next post what I was looking at.
So, RPR, any takers? Long beautiful posts that are not just about character interactions but interactions with a new, as of yet undefined world, one that's been forgotten and left behind by the modern world.
Of course I don't expect everything to be about the world, but come on, let's bring more than "Yeah, I do like hanging out with you" to this RP. Let's bring the whole wide world together.
One player, two players, none. I am not a fan of anything more than three people total (myself included), but that's not to say that I will say no if more people are interested. Just remember, I am willing to be patient, I hope the same in return.
I reserve the right to say no to playing with you. If I say no, do not push the issue. I am not willing to argue with people over it. Some people just aren't a good fit for me. I will not call you out in public, so don't do the same to me if I say that I'm not interested.
