I am very flexible with settings. Alf is able to dimension hop if necessary. Just tell me where to find your OC and I'm sure I can figure out a way for Alf to be in a place that works for you.

What I'm looking for:

18+ roleplayers only. Nothing saucy is going to happen in this RP (god forbid), it's just that I'm 32 and Rping with anyone younger than 18 feels weird at this point.

Any character between 9 and 15 (give or take). Older kids are better.

Availability between 8 pm and 3 am Central USA time. I can occasionally go outside that zone, but I work evenings.

I'm good with one on one, but the possibility of my partner warming up to group RP is a plus. I've got decent RP friends. If you're good to them, they'll be good to you! He's had 'kids' before, so maybe your OC will make some friends through him.

What I'm not looking for:

Clingyness OOC. I cannot stress this enough. You gotta know where to draw the line my dudes.

Extremely young OCs are out. Alf's a bounty hunter, he wouldn't be around to care for a young child and younger children can't hold a conversation.

Extra credit: (Stuff that's a plus!)

Loud mouthed kids that will argue with him because its comic value is unmatched.

I'm fine with Alf rescuing kids who are in trouble, but please don't be graphic. I'm not comfortable with detailed descriptions of abuse to minors for personal reasons.

Kids with some measure of common sense because Alf is not a good role model at all.

Roleplay Style

I tend to be descriptive but adaptable. I'm looking for someone with decent grammar and decent English. I don't expect much. Here's an example of one of my own RP posts to give you an idea of how I play.

Alf dragged both of his hands down his face. This was too much. He'd spent half his life in a dimension intended souly for dead domestic cats named Snowball, and this shit was too weird for him. And the kid was asking these ... questions. And saying these THINGS.
The worst part, was she was RIGHT about some of them.

"Chica you couldn't drag me if you tried." He drew his hands together and pointed at her with his joined index fingers. Don't tempt her, Alf.
Then she said she was like Superman, and any hope of his cooperation flittered out the window.
"Alright. That's it. I'm out. You don't wanna see it, don't look." Alf waded back into the lava. His jacket and hat were still on the other side and things had just come to a point that he'd rather walk around buck naked until his next dragon shed than continue down this rabbit hole.

How do you feel about RPing this with a beginner?

Oh gosh, he looks like he'd be so much fun to RP with! I don't have any kid characters though, so I'm useless for this. Still, I wanted to compliment your design and development of this character. He seriously looks awesome and his page is well written.

Have to admit they do sound interesting, but currently only have one child (on this account) and 3 on my other (with 2 of which I haven't RPed with much or ever).

I'd probably be horribly rusty, given my lack of RP, and can't say how good I was to begin with when I was super active.

I would wager any of my children characters (save maybe 1) would be flexible on how, where and possibly even when they would run into your character.

And he hasn't been updated in quite a while to include what little RP he got as his new rebirth life.... which is confusing I know. But ignoring his past lives, he might be the most normal candidate (per say).

I am a lot more flexible with whether strictly furc or not these days than I used to be, I still prefer furcadia over other mediums. But I can do Skype as well... and I don't see any reason forum/site/RPR posting wouldn't work too (even if a bit more delayed). I don't know how I feel about RPing over Facebook, but I know people who do it.

How about my character Shual?

He tends to switch from youth to adult to old, based on his circumstances, but I wouldn't mind altering him and his history a bit to stay a kid (he's pretty goofy and has got a good head on his shoulders for his age). I find that kid and adult friendships bring a lot of goofy and fun times. I like roleplays that make me laugh, but can also be serious when the plot calls for it.

I'm having a hard time keeping up with all the replies in all the places I have posted with this, so I'm going to leave a little form of contact here. I've been trying to give everyone a chance, but it can be hard to keep up.
