I watched as a demon attacked the only family I had left, my brother. It clawed his chest wide open, coming close to ripping his heart off. I finally got the nerve to stand up and put my hands together, ready to cast a spell. "I ríchnei ti̱n psychí̱ sou sti̱n kólasi̱." I yelled in Greek, the demon let out a horrible screeching noise and burned in the fires of Hell as it's soul was forced to forever be in hell. I went to my brother's side, tears running down my cheeks. I fell to my knees as soon as I got to him. He had protected from tha demon and took every blow for me, even though he wasn't a wizard or a witch like me. He gentlly brush some of my light brown hair out of my violet eyes. "You can't die! No, you're all I have left!" I cried as he just softly smiled at me. "You have to go on, Abby. Please. For me, it is my dying wish." His last words came out slower as his hand fell lifelessly to his side. The life in his was gone, the smile fadded. "No! Don't leave me, Zane! No! Come back!" I shook my brother's cold body.
Abby woke up with a gasp as the memory of her brother's death came back to her in her sleep. She was shaking as she crawled out of bed, trying to shake off the dream. "It was only a memory, Abby. Get a hold of yourself." She sighed as she got ready for her job. Took a shower, dried her hair, got dressed, everything and left the house. Her black cat was sitting on the pourch, sleeping in the rocking chair on the front pourch. She smiled at the small animal and gentlly peted it's head before leaving for work. She was still shaken up from the dream but she was trying not to show it.

Sitting on the ledge of the building, watching his feet dangle, Axel noticed a girl walking down the sidewalk. He could feel the amount of dishevelment the girl felt--perks of being a werewolf. Thoughts wander through his mind, questions as to why she's so shaken up rang out loudly. Being a stubborn and curious fellow, Axel intended to find out about this girl.
He effortlessly swung down from the building, landing in an empty alleyway. To get to the girl in time, he emerged as quickly as possible. Accidentally colliding with her. She smelt wonderful and Axel couldn't help but appericiate it. A ladies man is what people usually might call him, but he likes the reference overly socialable with numerous women.
"Oh, I'm sorry. Didn't see you there." Axel lied, putting on his winning smirk, "Could I buy you a drink? Coffee, maybe?"
Never the one to put things off.

Abby had caught herself at the last moment before she could fall form when the man bumped into her. She looked up at him and smiled. She was always known to be friendly and kind. "Uh, sure, but it will have to be later, I have to get to work." Her job wasn't too far form here and she had only an hour before she needed to come in. She hated being late, so she came in early. She could easily feel the power coming form the man, letting her know that he wasn't human. She was lucky to be a witch instead of a simple human.
"How about during my lunch break? I live only a couple blocks away." She pointed to the small one-story brick house that she had just came out of moments ago. "My lunch break beings at twelve."

Axel's lips quirked up on one side, "Great. We'll meet at Minnies then?"
The girl was beautiful. He couldn't deny that. He liked the fact that she arranged the lunch date.
He began to walk away, grinning like an idiot, "Name's Axel by the way, yours?" He would only wait a few minutes, then walk away in hopes that he would play on her mind for a while. Tricks...that's his speciality.

Abby nodded. "Sure thing." She was about to start back on her walk to work when she heard him say his name and ask for her's. It completely slipped her mind to get his name as well. "Just call me Abby." Most would think that Abby was her nickname but it was her first name; it had never been short for anything. She headed for work and was there with thirty minutes to spare. She got to her desk and went straight to work, hoping to that the memory would slip back into the back of her mind.
It wasn't long till she realized that time had pasted and it was already twelve o'clock. She stood up and grabbed her stuff and headed for Minnie's for her lunch date with Axel. She really didn't think much of it, seeing as he had only bumped into her this morning by accident. She had just walked into the restaunt when she was sited at a table and ordered a ice tea. She hadn't seen Axel yet.

Axel brushed his hair out of his eyes as she pushed past a few customers as he entered the restaurant. The girl Abby he met earlier sat before him. He made his way and took a seat in front of her. He smiled at her and noticed the dark circles beneath her eyes. She must have bad dreams or a hard time to sleep.
"Hello, Abby." He grinned at just saying her name.
"Hello, Abby." He grinned at just saying her name.
Abby smiled at Axel. "Hello, Axel." She had been unable to get a restful nights sleep in a while due to her old memories coming back to haunt her. "Might I ask why you wanted to meet with me today?" She had an idea that there might have been another reason for him wanting to have lunch with her than just bumping into her in the street.
"Maybe I just wanted to have lunch with a pretty face. It doesn't happen often." Axel's words were slightly true. He did want to have lunch with her. He finds her attractive which anyone would, but then again he has one reason they out rules all the rest: to rid her of her nightmares. That feeling to help a damsel in distress kicks in and he can't resist the urge.
Abby rolled her eyes but with a small smile played on her lips. "Well, I only have an hour until till I have to go back to work." She said, taking a sip of her ice tea that she had ordered earlier.
He grinned ear to ear at her rolling her eyes, "Do you ever take a day off of work?" He asked, prepared to tease her to the limit,
Abby nodded. "Yeah, on the weekends I have the days off."
Star was sitting several tables away. His friends had just left to go back to school, but Star had a special pass that allowed him to be late since he was a student teacher and his next period was the class he taught. All witches shared similar basic powers, such as sensing, which allowed him to sense the presence of other beings, especially ones that weren't human, and he could tell Abby and Axel were no joke. He slipped into the bathroom to cast a spell. "I've always wanted to try this one....." He went into a stall. "From dusk til dawn, from dawn till dusk. The power to transform for any witch is a must." With that, his skinned turned white, his features changed, he got taller and his clothes turned into a waiter's uniform. He walked out the bathroom after washing his hands and took a waiter's tray with a glass of iced tea from one of the real waiters. He reached Abby and Axel's table. "Care for a refill?" He said after widening his eyes from narrowing them seconds before.
Abby looked up at the waiter and smiled. "Yes please. Thank you, sir." Abby really didn't think she was very strong, just a normal spell-caster witch, expect she was the last one in her family line. She had a strong aura around her, some which knew that she was something different, but her friendly smile and kind eyes spoke that she didn't wield her power for evil.
Star handed the witch the glass. He could sense her strength, but he just couldn't tell if she was a good witch, or an evil warlock. He talked to the man but kept his eyes on the girl. "And for you sir?"
Axel immediately felt something towards the waiter, he grew extremely protective over Abby suddenly, "Yes, please." He didn't glance once at the waiter, he watched Abby with helpless intensity.
Mason smirked at the cellphone as he listened to the woman on the other end blab about how her husband wasn't pleasing her as a woman. He shook his head, "Sweetheart, give it a few days, I'm sure he'll come around." He listened to her response and snickered. "No, not free Friday. Perhaps another time? Listen, I got to go." He hung up the phone. He stared for a moment and then laughed. "Teach him to try to plea bargain with me."
Shrugging as the limo door was opened by the driver, he walked purposefully towards the restaurant doors without so much as a 'thank you'. He opened them and took a glance around. He sighed with irritability, 'weak poor people' he thought venemously. But, he was hungry and hadn't thought of the establishment's quality until now.

By the sight of the man, Axel wrinkled his nose in distaste. Sniff, too expensive suit, neatly combed hair, bleach white teeth. The man's appearance definitely annoyed Axel; men like him always had this annoying 'piss off' expression that got under Axel's expression. The waiter had already irritated him enough, staring at Abby like she's a piece of cake. It would be no wonder if he found himself picking a fight with the prick that just waltzed in.
A ping went up Star's spine. He felt the power coming from the man in the suit before his limo door even opened. "Crap. Now I have to worry about three of them. An energy blast or a weather spell won't work, I'll damage the restaurant or hurt someone else," Star thought to himself. Star had never met anyone who didn't want to be his friend or someone he didn't want to be friends with, so after coming to this town and getting these feelings he felt strange. Axel was the first person he distrusted so much, except for the warlocks who chase him, then Abby, now this guy. He didn't know why, but he was sure it was because he wasn't used to meeting other with power, and the only ones he did tried to enslave him.He set down a drink on Abby's table, still in disguise, and walked to the front of the restaurant, "Table for one?" Star said to Manson.
Mason looked Star over, having a fair general reading of those currently sitting in the restaurant. He smirked. "Yes." Noting an empty seat near Axel and Abby, but more towards the corner so he could keep an eye on everyone he lowered his voice. "That one. I like my privacy." He gave Star a twenty dollar bill. "Please."
((I'm only gonna post since hes talking to me after this I'm gonna wait for Kuro))
Star tilted his head disgusted and forced a smile. "Certainly." He took the bill and balled it up in a fist in one hand behind his back. He let out a microscopic energy blast in his concealed hand and disintegrated the money. Star thought "You come here and a limo and you give me a twenty? Cheapskate." He then smirked in his mind, not like he would ever accept the money anyway. He opened his balled up hand behind his back with the money in it revealing nothing. "Right this way Sir." Star gestured to the right before leading Mason to a big clean booth that was enclosed form everywhere else. "Our best table," he said hoping no one would come, considering he didn't really work there. He handed Mason a menu, "I'll give you a minute to decide." Star turned to walk back to Abby and Axel's table.
