The letters q t u and p no longer work on my laptop keyboard right as I prepare to get back to book writing. Until probably after Wednesday I will be back to mobile only as I can afford to either get a usb keyboard or get it in with the geeksquad. Just headsup to.... everyone.
That's weird Did you spill anything on it?
Loki add me! Even though I have no where near got this site under my thumb yet. And I find that rather odd...try taking the keys off and seeing if there is any gunk under there.
...o_O
That's...
odd.
Sorry to hear that. I guess even when you want to buckle down and work, something goes "nope~".

My own netbook's keyboard died once it started to type on its own. I actually had to remove and disconnect it (resulting in the lovely bare bottom you see in the photo!) because I couldn't have a normal conversation anymore.
I got my USB keyboard practically for free, second hand. You could try looking on ebay or, if you really want to use your laptop, use the OnScreen Keyboard from windows. You can type as normal and then fill in the gaps with the OnScreen keyboard where necessary. Or use it as a full replacement.
The possibilities are endless!
Nothing spilled on it that I know of, but I have a 4 year old, a cat and a derek in this house. Just the other day I had to inform him that porn sites can give viruses. He tried to argue. "But I'm not downloading the videos, they just load in the browser!" Argh. So who knows. I do know this isn't software related though.
Lol working on a way to get a keyboard quick and cheap. Onscreen sadly won't do for pages of novels. After five trashed openings and 30 pages on a regular notebook, all I had was a hand cramp. Argh.

I left my old Game Boy out in a lightning storm when I was little and it played itself for about a week before it mysteriously started working again. I thought it was awesome. Was the typing at least coherent or just random?
