Hello! I'm new here, as can be told by the topic. Although I'm not new to rping (I can't say how long I've been doing it, but I've been doing it consistently for over 2 years) I am new to this site. I was once on msparp but I left due to the owner and the circumstances surrounding her. I hope to find a more welcoming community and staff here, and much less people who only like roleplaying in cliques.
That being said, however- where can I search for group roleplays? I love roleplaying in groups and I find it very fun, but I'm not exactly sure where to go for that. Should I make a new forum post in the "looking for RP" and specifically state that I am searching for a group?

IC section at the bottom are ongoing RP stories based on Fantasy, Sci Fi or General assorted topics.
Some IC threads have a matching OOC one where players talk the plot and develop the characters further, a great way to make the storyline better and meet the crew

Hah, it's not really from anything. It's more of just a funny-sounding word, really.
I did check out the groups but I wasn't really sure which ones are really open to newcomers or what to do with them, so I made a post on the "looking for roleplay" forum. Thank you for the advice, though!
I suggest dropping the founder of any active group that you think look interesting a message! It's common courtesy to ask before joining a roleplay, so you really got nothing to loose.

in addition to the great advice already offered, if you go to the Find RP page > Join > Find Games, if you scroll down the page of search results, you'll find a list of groups that have been active in the past week! this can be narrowed down by using the sliders, and refreshing can show new results. hope that helps!
