Im looking for a male Carpathian.
Let me explain a few things first:
-Carpathian's are a species of human who are born somewhat like a vampire. They have the speed, strength, shapeshifting, and controlling elements aspects as well as they feed on human blood to live. But they refuse to take a human life and actually protect humans from the threat of actual vampires. (I'll explain the actual vampire thing here in a second) Carpathian males live to find their true soul mate. After 200 years, they lose the ability to see in color and to feel emotions if they havent found their soul mate by then. If their will to resist the darkness inside is not strong enough then they become an actual vampire. Once they find their soul mate, she is the light to his dark, the only one who can tame the darkness inside of him and keep him from turning into an actual vampire. Also, they instantly begin to see in color and feel emotions again as well as an overwhelming need for their soul mate. After they complete their bonding as a mated pair then the male will never again have to fear changing into an actual vampire. The bonding only works with their actual soul mate and will not work with anyone else. Very Important Note: Carpathian's are alive! They are not dead and can have children! Though in most cases the children do not survive the first year.
-Actual vampires are willing to take human life, more for the pleasure of the kill than the need for the blood. They live to cause suffering and fear encounters with Carpathian males, but will engage in battle if that is their only choice, except for the few Vampires who have lived a long time and think they can rival a Carpathian's power. Vampires are rotting from the inside out, they are living still but dying. However it takes some many centuries to die.
-Carpathian females are very rare, almost non existent. Those who are still living are very powerful healers or hunters, sometimes both. Only a couple remain living, Ritza being one. Some human females with strong psychic powers can be turned into a Carpathian through three blood trading rituals but normal humans can not be turned into Carpathian because after a few days they lose their minds with blood lust and have to be killed. Carpathian's are of the earth and can bed down into the earth to heal, they do not need to breath when they sleep.
Okay, now with that out of the way, on to the plot!
Ritza VonHaven is a Carpathian female and has been alive for centuries without a soul mate. Living a solitary existence in the Carpathian mountains, she spends her time hunting Vampires and seeing to it that the human town in the valley further down the mountain from her home are kept safe from supernatural threats. When a severely wounded Carpathian male winds up on her doorstep, trying to get to earth after killing a vampire, she takes him in only long enough to help him heal. But as soon as they touch, they both know that they are soul mates. As much as the male is ready to finally have his woman, Ritza is very reluctant to let him bond with her. She is used to her solitary and independent lifestyle, not ready to give up her freedom to the large, overpowering will of her soul mate. Knowing that Carpathian males treasure their soul mates above all else, she is very aware that he will try to keep her from hunting or doing anything that puts her life at risk. Along with struggling against the powerful pull of soul mates and her mates sexual pull, Ritza encounters a powerful wizard that threatens to destroy the Carpathian's race. Ritza knows she has to destroy this evil wizard and also soon make her decision whether to bond to her soul mate or leave him to turn to the darkness.
So thats the plot so far! I need a strong writer for this and your Carpathian male has to have a strong personality as well! Thank you and i hope to hear from one of you soon!
