Hi, I have been rping for about a year now and it's a really fun hobby. It gets me threw tuff times and probably saved me from loneliness for a long time. I love village rps, supernatural rps, maybe even romance rps. I just love magic in general. I'm glad to be here and meet new friends! I hope we will have a great time!

Hey there! I noticed that you're very much new, but you don't have to worry! You're not doing anything wrong. Everyone's most definitely happy to meet you, but since it's night time for most of us right about now (including me!), not a lot of people are going to answer right away. You just gotta be patient!

That, and replies on RPR tend to come slower that what you might be used to since (I think) we function primarily as a character bank/repository site first and a play by post RP site second, though real time chat is often used here as well. Where did you come from originally, and how did you find us? We'd love to know and help you get settled.

Hi! Most of the site can have slow response times, but if you'd like to chat with other members in real time, there's actually a chat thread for this purpose! You can click the Launch Chat button to open an auto-refreshing window (this can be done with all threads) which also shows how many people are around. Bear in mind this will depend on your timezone, so please don't be disheartened if responses aren't immediate.

Hello Jay!! No need to worry, you've done nothing wrong! Replies can be slow due to timezones, and some people (me for example) need a while to process their thoughts and put them into writing. So if you ever find yourself waiting a long time for replies, trust me it is 1000% more likely that people are asleep, or dealing with life stuff, or just thinking on how best to reply! C: Everyone here is super nice, I hope you have a great time here and make lots of friends!!

It can be pretty overwhelming sometimes to join a new site (or at least it is for me), so I can understand being anxious about whether you've done something wrong (I get like that a lot, too). Roleplaying has actually gotten me through a lot of tough times, too; especially when loneliness and bullying has kept me down. I really hope things get good for you!!

I've seen a lot of people who like romance RPs and supernatural RPs! I'm sure you won't have much trouble finding some RPs you like. You might be interested in the Modern RP forum! It's considered polite to PM the original poster of an open thread to ask to join instead of just jumping this (which I'm saying only because I didn't know this for a long time, oops).

If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask! And if you'd like to take your character out for a test drive or anything, feel free to message me, and I can make a thread!
