Hello! I'm looking for a sci-fi roleplay partner. I've got a few plots in mind inspired by The Lunar Chronicles (I will explain them later). I prefer 1x1 and also lengthy replies (a paragraph or two). Romance is a huge theme. I'm open to both MxF, MxM and FxF.
If you have read The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer, then you are probably familiar with the world. If not, you should keep reading if you love sci-fi, cyborgs or androids.
Earth is allied with Luna (the moon). This is a long story, but there is something along the lines that the Lunar Queen is crazy. To prevent her from attacking Earth, humans have decided to ally with Luna. Humans and Lunars (moon-people) don't like each other. Lunars have special 'superpowers' or 'abilities' that can make them change their looks to easily trick others. They can also mind control (the strongest ones). This is an advantage during battle. However, their powers won't trick cameras or mirrors. Earth has developed their technology. There are cyborgs, androids and a lot of machines. Spaceships do exist and are pretty convenient to travel to another planet, mostly between the moon and the Earth. Earth isn't really open to Lunars at the moment, but there are a lot of refugees.
Plots I have in mind (you can suggest if you have an idea):
Jacelyn (half-Lunar) is being hunted down. Your character helps her to hide, they're either a hacker or another criminal that knows hiding places well (or she just lives in your character's home)
Your character is human, stuck in prison on the moon. Jacelyn is a guard/soldier that guards your character's cell, but end up falling in love with them instead.
Jacelyn steals a spaceship and your character happens to be the Lunar Queen's guard that owns that spaceship. Your character is stuck on the spaceship with a criminal. But they are tired of the Queen's ways anyways, and you both run away together.
If you are more interested in a male character, you can check out Logan. If you like him more, I can replace Jacelyn with Logan

Plausible legends of ancient magic, but current magic is not common.
Far future, perhaps interstellar travel (generation ships)
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.

If you're still looking, I'm in! I'm new here though, So my pages are still a little lacking. I have read Cinder and I'm about 1/4 of the way into Scarlet, so I'm semi-familiar. I usually play males, so I don't mind using Danny. I adapt him as needed for what he needs to do.

It's good that someone is familiar with the settings! I think Danny would work fine. Message me on which plot you want to play.

This sounds quite interesting, I haven't read the book before but I'd like to rp. I will make a diff character if you're up for it to fit it more to the setting
