i'm super new to this and i was just wondering what kinds of characters are best to make on websites like these? i've made so many over the years so it's hard to choose ha h

Well, any type of character is fine, though some you may not find a good setting for. Think wisely about that before making one.

I've seen lots of characters made and killed in my time here and picked up a few tips;

Its OKAY to make a character for a specific role but give it some leeway for more potential roleplays.
When you have the inspiration and your able, make it! or you will eventually lose the idea
If a character HAS to go, make sure it isnt in any active roleplays
