"I was across the field and it was too late when I got there. And you still have no reason to act the way you do." She pulled the sheath away. "You have so much anger in you and you are too stubborn to calm your soul. You shall never win with a furious soul. Only a calm one."

Vergil moved Yamato's sheath from her neck, his eyes looking into hers. Vergil was slightly calm "without anger I'd have no motivation" the pain in his eyes was strong and clear. There was a broken soul inside this man, a soul that cannot be mended. "don't you see... The pain is the only thing that's real"

Mia stood over Nene, completely having lost any aggression and was more scared of this male human than anything. She was still a very imposjg figure, being four feet taller than Virgil at her shoulder and a very sharp beak, not o mention her lion claws and leg strength. She made no movement other than standing over Nene, ready to move to protect the girl should the male become aggressive again.

"Your heart is too." She shook her head and sighed. "You are so far from people and refuse to take kindness in your heart. You refuse to let anyone care..." She looked down and softly touched his arm,slightly hesitating then she pulled her hand back. She knew it most likely wasn't a good idea. She looked down having slight tears,thinking about how she only wished for someone's care. She smiled only a little,seeing Mia's towering shadow.

Vergil didn't want to love or feel for anyone, the Pain Of losing them again would kill Vergil all over again. "these rough memories are the things that keep me going, my heart was ripped to shreds 16 years ago" he turned to walk away. A tear rolled down his cheek and fell to the floor clearly visible to Mia and Nene as it flickered from the moonlight

She looked down and could understand his pain. She quickly ran up behind him and put a chained necklace around his neck. It had the Toyotomi Hideyoshi symbol on it with a blue jewel in the middle. It had belonged to her husband but she wanted him to have it.

Vergil stopped as she put the necklace around his neck, he grabbed the necklace almost about to pull it off but something stopped him from doing so, he let it drop to his chest "out of all the people that I have met, and there really Arn't a lot, you have been the most annoying, and the one that I can slightly relate to" he carried on walking into the darkness of the forest until all that was seen was a flicker of light from the blue gem before he was completely gone.

The leaves were swept up by the wind, the branches rustled. Animals were no longer hiding from Vergil, a man with almost no feelings other than pain and anger

She watched him and slightly smiled. She quickly hopped in a tree,the moonlight reflecting off her blade and yellow clothing. Nene gracfully flipped upside down on a branch,finaly feeling happy.

So cold,but slightly warm. His eyes were cold but had fire in them. The flame inside of his heart still burns...but it is slowly being blown out by depression and coldness. She continued to think.

Mia had no idea what to do now and so slowly followed after Virgil, acting like an obedient dog more than a predator of the skies.

There was a small hut miles from where Vergil, Nene and Mia had met. It was Vergil's home, He'd made it alone when he was 11. "Stop following me!" he yelled, He became annoyed at the unwanted presence. he reached the front door and slid the shoji door open, there was a faint glow from the door before Vergil closed it. The hut was surrounded by a beautiful stream of water and there was a small hand made stone and wood bridge which was the only way to the hut by foot.

Inside there was a wooden manikin made by hand, it was very professionally made as was the hut. Vergil approached the manikin and started to train, punching and kicking in amazing style and incredible speed

Vergil's Hut:

Mia let out a submissive caw and simply stepped over the stream before laying down in front of the hut. She didn't like this human very much but she had nothing else to do and the female had managed to slip away unnoticed so she had nothing better to do than stay with the mean man.

Nene went on her usual routs across the trees,but there was something wrong that night. She stood there silently,then felt a slight pain. She looked down to see her leg bleeding badly with a knife in it. She pulled the knife out as another one hit her in her shoulder and she fell out of the tree and fell hard on the ground. As a human,that would hurt her a lot. She stood up and was hit againts the tree by something.

I wish to yell,but no matter what I must take the pain.

She panted and tried not to scream in pain.

Vergil trained until the sun started to rise, his knuckle were bleeding, he'd once again gone over his body's limit but he still pushed himself. He was hurting all over "The ... Pain... Is the... Only thing... That's ... REAL!" he struck the manikin in between each word before pulling his fist back and let out a barrage of kicks so fast he's shredded the manikin to pieces.

He was shirtless, beads of sweat ran down his perfectly tanned torso. Mia's shadow was clear and visible through the Shoji doors "What are you still doing here..." He walked over to the shoji doors and slid them open tossing a plate with some fish in it near Mia "Now get lost!" just as he was about to re-enter his hut a scream filled his ears. "Why is there so much noise out here" Annoyed by the distraction he moved to the source dashing through the forest with incredible speed becoming a blur to human eyes.

"Hanzō....please sto-..." Nene's throught was punched hard while she had troubles breathing. She was being attacked by her ex ninja master. She was thrown againts the trees sevral times befor he accualy spoke.


"You weakling,have you learned nothing?! I told you to NEVER give the necklace to anyone!" He punched hard enough that she was knocked out.

"You will wish you were never here" Vergil stood in the darkness behind the Ninja holding Yamatos hilt in his right hand and the sheath in the left "Leave her alone..." In the darkness the only thing that was perfectly seen were his glowing bloodshot red eyes.

His hair was no longer spiked because of the heavy training he had done. Vergil unsheathed his katana only slightly,about a 4cm before placing it back in the sheathe, the ninja was cut all over his body each cut was very deep but he couldn't scream in pain. He was paralyzed from the attack.

Vergil walked over to Nene and picked her up in his arms. Before leaving he stepped on the helpless ninja's throat and crushed it leaving him to choke to death in horrifying pain.

Her body lay limp in his arms as she slowly woke up and she looked at him. "Thank you..." She closed her eyes again and nuzzled him softly befor she rested in his arms. Blood slowly filled her lungs but she was fine for a while. The necklace that she put around him started to glow brightly when she was around him.

By the time Mia arrived, the deed ha been done and she simply followed Virgil back to his hut, trying to ignored thestrong scent of blood and the desire to eat the bleeding Nene.
The griffin let out a noise like a whimper, her head low as she looked around for any other hostiles.

The forest was dead, not a living creature in sight exept the crunching of dry leaves as Vergil walked to his hut, the calming sound of the stream from his hut was heard as they got closer.

Vergil made it back to the hut and slid open the shoji doors, as he entered he left it open for Mia, being a little less aggressive towards the griffin. He laid Nene down on a kumo wooden bed.

Nene was starting to have troubles breathing while her breathing patterns had become uneven. Her yellow scarf slid off her neck exposing the total brun marks and bruises. Nene's hand touched the necklace that she had given him and she smiled,happy he still had it. Her hand suddenly just dropped.

Mia waited outside, unsure that she would even fit through the door with her massive body and lay down in front of it, watching silently other than the occasional coo, a very worried look in her eyes.
