Nene shook her head and knew he was upset but to her violence wasn't going to help. She slightly slipped and made a sound but didn't fall. The noise was very loud and she kinda scraped her skin. She looked down and had sorrow filled eyes for some reason.

The demon made a bold move by standing before Vergil "Do you honestly think that you can defeat the Demon king Luthieus?" Vergil replyed looking at the demon with his left hand on Yamatos hilt "I don't think... i know" the necklace sank into his chest, the same symbol that was on the necklace appeared as a tattoo on his upper right arm, small blue flames emitted from the tattoo

Hideyoshi Toyotomi's symbol...? How did he do that? She watched and tried to keep her power low. Her innocent eyes sparkled as she sat on the branch and touched the side of her blades,feeling his power.

Vergil felt disoriented for a second
"What's wrong boy?!" The demons dark red eyes glowed as a grin appeared on it's face.
Vergil's hair covered his eyes "N-Nothing!" he yelled shooting his arm at the demon's direction. He was too far to grab the demon but, a huge blue claw with red on the tip shot out his arm and grabbed the demon. Vergil clenched his fist and the claw mimicked crushing the demon, but at the same time he started to lose his balance.

Hm? He has over worked himself... Nene jumped from the tree and hugged him. "You have to lay down. You need to rest." Nene softly touched his chest and looked up at him with concerned eyes.

"No!" He pushed her out of the way causing the claw to release the demon and go back into the tattoo. The demon coughed a few times and saw an opening. A knife hit Vergil in the chest. "Aah!" Vergil fell to the floor finally losing balance, the necklace somehow gave him more power than he already had, the claw was new. The sudden change was too much for his body. Vergil did not heal fast, even though he was a halfbreed devil battle wounds would take at least 3 hours to heal. Vergil coughed a few times before getting back on his feet.

Nene was a dark ninja so she was able to possess demonic powers only when she really cared about someone. After being a widow and abandoned by many people,Vergil was the only one she cared for. She pulled her blades and stood by him with a cold feeling around her.

"Brother, listen to her, stop this..." a voice was heard from the darkness of the forest, the demon stood before them looked at her with a grin before it's eyes widened. A Scythe was put through it, the demon started to turn to ash revealing a dark male figure, before it vanished. Vergil let himself go, falling to floor and landing with a thud. his vision blurred and soon he'd conciousness

Nene flipped her blades and put them up. She got down on her knees next to him and sighed.

Ugh he is nothing but a cold brute! But there is something about him that makes me want to stay. Is it his Impudence? Maybe it's his vigor? She softly touched his chest and put her hand behind his head.

"Vergil Hide with Daniel, you're his older brother, Take care of him"
that one memory, dug itself up from the grave. His mother was wearing a beautiful floral dress that night. Her smile was everything, the sun was nothing compared to it's radiance, her dark crimson hair was smooth and heavenly as were her dark blue eyes.

"But mom, What about you?!"
every night Vergil craved her soft loving touch.

"Forget about me, Go! hide under the bed until it's safe to get out"
Watching her die that night destroyed Vergil, The weeks watching their father go insane constantly watching him search for the demon king. Vergil had to provide food and a home for his younger brother but doing all that stopped him from training to kill the demon king... So he left Danny, their father already had.

Vergil's eyes slowly opened, tears flooded his eyes. He held Nene's hand tight as he hugged her. He had let out all that pain.

Her eyes slightly widened at his actions but she soon understood. She hugged him back softly while nuzzling him a bit. "Are you alright? Are you hurting?" She seemed worried about him while her eyes showed it. She was happy that his eyes opened so she had slight tears as well. Her blade's gems would glow brighter then ever during the hug.

She didn't think he was weak,but she thought of him as stronger then ever. Only a true man could break down and expose his feeling. She knew he was the strongest male she had ever met and a good person. Going through such pains like losing someone can really hurt. At that case she was there to comfort him.

"I... I can't do it..." He let tears stream down his cheeks "All I thought i needed was power..." His actions defined who he really was meant to be, but even this moment Vergil felt... Weak. "N-no... This isn't me!" He released her from the hug and stood up. His face was emotionless but his eyes showed pain

Nene felt pain from him refusing to be 'true.' She got up and started to cry a little. "UGH!!! Stop being this way,you are only making yourself look weak. If you are affraid to show emotion and say how you feel,THEN YOU ARE WEAK! Being strong isn't about having power. Having power Ian about training. Having power is truly you being able to have great streanth but be in control. Having power is realizing that you have to stop training and take a break. You are scared to cry. You are scared." She was close to slapping the emotionlessness off his face but instead she hugged him tight.
"LISTEN TO ME! IT'S ALRIGHT TO CRY! No one will laugh."

"I... It's not that anyone will laugh" Vergil felt the pain everyday, it felt like a spear going through his heart... And the being pushed all the way through only to be put back in. The tears stung his eyes "t-the pain of watching someone I love die, and feeling weak just kills me" he hugged her back but this time pulling her closer. After being dead inside for so long, he finally had a reason to live again

"I understand that...but she is forever with you. You have to keep moving. I know it may hurt and it's something you can't forget but please show me your emotions. I'm here for you. Ok?" Her voice was kind and sweet as she kissed his lips softly then hugged him a little more. "If you need someone to love,I'm here. And if you need to be loved,I'm still here." She looked at him and slightly wiped his eyes.

After all these years Vergil found love, but had no idea how to respond to it. He didn't do anything but instead let her kiss him and also kissed back with his hands on her waist. When she looked into his eyes she saw a broken heart slightly mended. Vergil felt slightly awkward after she'd kissed him so he backed away "I umm, that" he hadn't a word to say for all he could think about was the kiss.

Nene sighed and remembered she wanted her scarf. She quickly ran into his hut then came out with a yellow scarf around her neck. It was her husband's and he would always wear it on his armor. He would make sure blood was never splattered on it and now she would too. "You're a sweet guy. I know it. But you won't show it very often." She hugged him softly.

Vergil ran his hand through his hair, he became a totally different person around her. "Why me?" he was confused, the way he treated her made him feel unworthy of her. Avenging his mother's death was the only thing he ever thought about and now, the only thing he thought about was her.

She shrugged and smiled then she grabbed his hand. She liked him a lot and she tried her best to be kind all the time. She took her scarf off and wrapped it around his neck,giggling too. "YOU LOOK NICE!" She stepped back and shook her head. "But...." She pulled a loose thread from it and sighed. She soon pulled on the thread and it became thick and turned black and blue. She pulled the yellow one off him and wrapped the new one around him. "BETTER!" She giggled and kissed his cheek. "You look cute. I know most women would leave you alone already,but there is something about you that will always keep me there."

Vergil would smile but he wasn't completely mended. he was like a ghost in a machine. He pulled on the scarf a little to show his neck "I don't know, it's not my style" he took a step back and did a 360 turn. The Hideyoshi Toyotomi's symbol necklace was no longer around his neck, however since the event it's stayed as a tattoo on his upper right arm.
