Nene weakly drank then placed a more steady hand on his cheek. "You look worried,Vergil. That's not like You to be worried." She kept her high happy tone and kissed his cheek lightly while covering the wound on his hand.

Vergil looked into her eyes "I..." he stood up from her side. He felt like she needed to be protected, after seeing his mother die he never let anyone near him, let alone love. If anything bad happened to Nene, Vergil would fall into an endless abyss all over again.

Nene smiled weakly. "Vergil,I must admit that you are one hell of a guy. I like you a a lot." She slowly stood up and hugged him.

Vergil wrapped his left arm around her waist "16 years of anger, pain and no love and then you show, I try to be myself but... Around you I can't" he ran his thumb over her bottom lip then kissed her deeply

Nene blushed as her eyes widened at first. She was shocked by his actions as she slowly kissed him back. Her pain disappeared all of a sudden,and she felt a warmth casscade across her lips,waist, and down her arm. For a cold guy he gave her warm chills.

Vergil felt different.
She is my life... Mustn't let anyone take her away from me

He slowly pulled away then something unbelievable happened... He smiled, his smile was charming it would make any woman fall for him. Vergil realizing he smiled took a step back and turned around "That was, uhh, I..."

Nene giggle and smiled brightly. "You are a great kisser for someone who is cold hearted..." She nuzzled him and grabbed his hand. Her wounds had seemed to already disappear.

Vergil still turned around knew that if she was to love him then he must show her. "Nene, you're changing me..." He knew that he became a totally different person around her "I will show you what you are falling in love with" He turned around and took a step back. Vergil transformed into his devil form, His skin was as soft as leather and a deep blue like the depths of the ocean. Small shots of electricity came from him as his eyes turned a crimson colour, The air around him became warm

Nene was a bit shocked as she fell back and covered her mouth. She was afraid of him and wasn't doing a good job at hiding it. She had to calm herself down and remembered that he was the same Vergil then befor. She was calm on the inside but her eyes showed fear.

Vergil was pained after her reaction "This is the true me. I'm half devil, you can fear me or love me but it won't change the fact that I'm a devil"
He changed back to his normal human form then turned around, Vergil closed his eyes but the image of her scared of what he is was glued to the inside of his eyelids.

Vergil slid opened the Shoji doors and jumped up onto the roof. His Eyes showed pain but his face showed no emotion

Nene ran after him and jumped ontop with him and hugged him. "Vergil!! I'm sorry! I still love you no matter what. I was just shocked." Her eyes went from afraid,to sad and begging like. "Please forgive me."

"Get some rest, you're still hurt..." That was the only thing he said to her before removing his shirt. A manikin was waiting for him there. he started to train with yamato, With every slash the image of Nene being afraid flashed before his eyes.

Nene looked down and mummbled untill only he could hear. "Befor you softened up to me...you were a monster. When you showed me how you truly looked...you were you." She jumped down,and instead of getting rest she started walking away from the place. She didn't mean to be afraid at first. She was only getting use him. No matter his appearence she still loved him.

Vergil trained harder and harder, eventually cutting the manikin into pieces too small to be seen with the naked eye.
If she leaves, then you may never find someone like her

Vergil saw her leave, he wanted to run after. He needed her, more than life itself "Nene wait!" He yelled after her jumping off the roof, he was on one side of the bridge and she was on the other. The rain was heavy "I... Love you..."

Nene looked back at him while slowly pulling a strand of hair out of her face. She quickly ran to him and kissed him deeply. "I love you too," She whispered and continued to kiss him again. She hadn't had that many friends in life,And she had been betrayed by many people. At that moment she didn't think about her past or getting hurt.NOPE! She only thought of him.

you hate to admit it but that overgrown bird was right, you do require affection

Vergil kissed her back pulling her close to him by her waist. He slowly pulled away and put his left hand on her right cheek, stroking it with his thumb also "I guess this is the real me" He looked into her eyes then kissed her forehead. she put her head against his head, he nuzzled her hair, His heart was beating fast.

She blushed and smiled lightly. "Your touch makes me melt. Your streanth is nearly unbearable,but yor beating heart brings me peace. I'm glad I met you."

She laid a hand on his chest and seemed even sweeter around him.

Vergil entwined his hands into hers then pecked her lips, his heart pounded softly against his cold chest. The sun finally crept from the horizon, the rays of sunlight shun on his smooth torso making him glow. A sight for which normal people would die to see.

"How can you be so sure, that a creature born from 2 races that are completely different and find the other grotesque at sight. is to be trusted with your heart, a heart which is petite and vulnerable?" he knew that along this path they both tread, his cold heart and violent nature will be the downfall of their relationship.

"Sometimes a risk is worth taking to make the other happy." She smiled brightly.

Vergil Turned around and walked into the Hut, upon entering he turned slightly to her and held his hand out for her to take.

A throwing knife went straight threw his shoulder. he looked uneffected for a moment as he pulled it out but something was wrong, Vergil started to shift between his forms rapidly without control. He fell to hands and knees in pain but didn't make a sound, the air around him became warm.
