Hello, I've been trying to find roleplayer who have characters for the following fandom ;;
Silent hill
Resident Evil
Until dawn
Outlast
The evil within
Final Fantasy XV
Shovel Knight
The wolf among us
Life is strange
Ect there is probably many others so I guess if you have a fandom in mind just ask there is 50% chance i have something from it
Having not much going on for this make me have less motivation for the others stuff I have to do, sorry if this doesn't make sense...

I'm a big FF VII, VIII fan. Haven't played XV yet, no money for a PS 4 alas.
To attempt to answer your question. Most people on here, at least those that I have rped with, have left behind playing fandoms and have moved on to constructing plots that aren't tied to preexisting worlds and canons, to instead build the individual stories of their own uniquely created characters.
Not that rping in an already created world can't be done, but I have noticed that the longer someone has been rping the further they stray from those sort of RPs. Since it comes with a lot of baggage. That and, this is at least my opinion on the matter, rping in a set world not of your own tends to feel hollow after a while. That and from my experiences with it it tends to be that most people who want to rp in a set fiction want to have there character interact with the characters from that fiction personally, and in my opinion, that never goes well because one person's attempt to roleplay that character is going to fall drastically short of the expectations of most people or go straight off the deep end into God modding territory.

Some people do offer rps that have settings like FF or something, I know I have done alot of Resident Evil themed rps with OC's there are always people that will do them, but I agree with ReadheadSamurai there, there are pros and cons of using a pre-constructed world, and having to follow a script, compared to the freedom of using an oc in a setting you came up with.
I have had some issues with people twinking in cannon rps, I mean I understand the main character has Plot-armor and all that, but still its not always fun for everyone that is in the rp.

Hiya! I've been searching for some FF-themed RPs as of late, actually. ^^
Though, in my case, I've been looking mostly for FF XII, but I've finished XV, and it's got a lot of potential for a setting. Message me with any plots you'd like to share!
