It's been five years since the takeover of the state of Kansas by the insane scientist known as Steve Walsh. No, not the same guy who sang for the band Kansas. This guy just coincidentally shares the same name as the vocalist. This Steve Walsh is that crazy guy who created that army of Mario enemies and proceeded to takeover the state of Kansas. For awhile, people didn't really care. They never cared for the state and just figured they'd be okay without it. All it does is provide wheat and tornadoes, so what good is it? At least, that's what people thought; after the announcement of a large oil reserve being discovered in the Flint Hills, the United States decided they'd need their heartland back. Instead of wasting troops and precious resources, they sent you to try and convince Steve to return Kansas back to the federal government. Upon arriving, you see this crazy scientist is actually quite depressed. What will this revelation make of your current mission?
