Delias stayed to the shadows, glowing amber eyes darting around him to spot out any threats or fun opportunities. His sensitive ears had picked up on a bit of chatter, and as his curious self, he wanted to see what all was going on. Eagerly he sought to find the source, stopping in an alley just across the way. He kept his hood pulled over, shadowing his face. Perhaps if there was a death, they'd consider leaving him the leftovers, though there would be little they could do in two days time, the full moon would be out, and he'd be in a hunger.
Kai arched a brow. Now why hadn't he thought of that? Going after the unsavory types would make it easier on the towns he visited. It was a moment of epiphany for him.
He stepped back a good bit farther than 10 feet, his face scrunched up. "It might splash? Are you going to dump water on it?"
He was so focused on this man and his curious ways that he didn't notice the other lurking in the darkness of the alley. Not yet at least.

Blake knelt down beside the body with a look of concentration on his face. "Quite the opposite of water in fact. " He mumbles as he puts his hands equal distances apart above the body of the girl.
With a *pop* a form fitting coat of flame appears around the body, but doesn't start burning anything. "This will just take a second. It's a method I figured out to keep the smell of burnt flesh to a minimum. They let me take care of cases like this because I'm one of the few people who can handle whatever comes out around this time."
Returning to his task he closes his eyes and grimaces a bit. The flames flash from red to white and then press down with an audible *whumph*. They encounter no resistance as they hit the ground. The body is nowhere to be seen and the ground is slightly charred. With a *pop* the flames go back out and Blake wipes some sweat off of his head. "Well at least practice has made this slightly easier." He states standing back up and shaking his head.

"Bravo, bravo indeed!" Delias was crouched in front of the alley, clapping his padded hands together. "Interesting thing, fire... however, doesn't do much when it comes to the task of the unwanted, and undead, eh?" He sneered, inching forward a bit more. "Too bad you didn't save the leftovers.. not that I really care. Might go a bit 'batty' though, if you get my meanin'." He laughed slightly at his own little pathetic joke.
It all hit Aspen at once. Her master wanted someone from back in that ally. Aspen became slightly annoyed with herself. She quickly turned around and ran back towards the ally where she meet the guard and the vampire. She ran swiftly on her feet.
She was still tired. She wanted the night to be over so badly. She just wanted to get home. Aspen grew more tired and her emotionless mask was begging to wear off due to it. She shook her head roughly in an attempt to make herself less drowsy. She hadn't slept in two days because of her masters constant complaining. She was always annoyed by her master, but she also wanted him to accept her in some way, she wanted him to be proud of her some how, for some reason.

Stunned initially by what he'd just witnessed, Kai stood there, staring at the charred remains of the body. That took care of one thing for him. However, it would be a mistake to say that he wasn't still hungry; the girl only had a few quarts of blood in her--nothing that a full man would have. Nor the type of power that this pyro before him had. And said pyro was looking to be a bit..drained.
It was the voice from the alley that checked his spring and he grimaced. He didn't want an audience if he was bringing down someone so powerful as Blake.
Kai wrinkled his nose at the interloper. "What are you here for?" he growled, inching along the shadows, still giving Blake ample space, but trying to move out from being between two potentially powerful adversaries.
And then the girl from before was returning. What was going on? Since when had it become difficult for a vampire to eat a meal in peace?

Aspen arrived at the allies entrance. Though she wasn't standing there, she had all her weight leaning against the wall of one of the surrounding homes. She was tired. Aspen looked down the dark, narrow space. She noticed another person had arrived. Aspen sighed as she looked at everyone. She only hoped she could get who she wanted and get out of there as quick as possible. Aspen yawned quietly as she started to walk forward, at first she dragged her shoulder against the wall before she straitened her posture and stood up straight.
"You." Aspen effortlessly swung her arm down and a blade came out of her sleeve, she pointed it straight at Kai. "Master wants you." Aspen stated. She was having issues standing straight up. She moved her hand up and her blade fell back down into her sleeve without a sound. Aspen rubbed her tired eyes with her sleeve covered hands.

"Oh, you know, in my situation, the noise only attracts. I was hoping to salvage something, but apparently your friend here was a bit greedy with his flaming abilities." However before he could mock much more, he jumped back by the wall as the girl approached, looking between them all.
Aspen looked where Delias was. "Don't bother." she mumbled through yet another yawn. "I know what dwells in this town." Aspen stretched and her attention shot straight back to Kai. Aspen didn't fear much of anything in this town because she herself was practically one of the monsters. She might have been human, but that meant nothing. She was just as heartless as any cruel creature. Life and death of others showed no meaning to her. If her master wanted someone dead, then so be it. She would usually get it done and be gone in the blink of an eye. She didn't care much for how other people felt.
He watched everything that was happening with a careful eye while catching his breath. The immolation he had just performed always was a bit taxing, but it used to be so much worse. What used to take him hours to recover from now only slightly hampered his abilities for a moment. This job had increased his initial mental stamina by leaps and bounds.
He shook his head deciding this had gone on long enough. This was going to bring the wrong kind of attention pretty soon. If he got caught letting non-humans walk away he'd be in serious trouble. Not that they could really HURT him anymore, but he'd rather not become what he was tasked to hunt down. "Alright," he thought, "time to break this show up.". The air began to waver from heat, and a foot long straight blade of blue flame erupted from his right hand with a hiss as his eyes began to glow brighter.
He said in a stern and commanding voice "This has went on long enough, and I've done what I came to do."
He points the blade to the girl. "You're seem human enough to me but it looks like you could use some rest. If you need me to I'll escort you to your destination." He points the blade to the vampire. "I bear you no ill will, so long as you remember our discussion. If this happens again, pray they send someone else." He points the blade at the wolf-like creature. "You haven't shown any sign of hostilities and haven't committed any crime besides existing. I don't punish for that." He stomped his foot and a waist high circle of fire burst from the ground a foot around him. "TECHNICALLY I'm supposed to engage all non-humans on sight. I don't work that way, but if you guys keep hanging around here I'm not gonna have a choice. Best get moving along."

Aspen was begging to get annoyed by all the other people around. She stopped rubbing her eyes and yet again swung her arm down letting the silver blade slide out. She Pointed it at Blake this time. "No." that's all she really needed to say in her mind. "I need to get a task done for master, and I won't let you interfere." Aspen said with what sounded like a less tired voice. Her eyes still looked tired but she wouldn't allow herself to disappoint her master by letting this guard get in the middle of everything. Aspen kept her blade pointed at Blake with full focus, or as much focus as she could have at the moment.
Aspen's white hair shined slightly in the moonlight. Thoughts ran trough her mind. She couldn't stop thinking about how long this was going to take due to all the people. She mentally sighed to herself. This was taking longer then it should. She just hoped that her master wouldn't be upset.

Blake stayed in the middle of the ring of fire and kept his bladed right arm held in front of him while looking at the girl in confusion.
"Interfere? I don't want to interfere. I want all of you to get the hell out of here already!" He shouts as all the flames and his eyes flash a bit brighter.

Aspen lowered her blade. "I don't want to be here. I'm simply here because I must be at the moment." Aspen said as she looked at the flames. Her eyes quickly darted back up to look Blake straight in the eyes. "Your going to wake some of the towns people if you don't keep it down." She said with full seriousness. She knew all to well that she was probably causing him to raise his voice, though she really didn't mind.
Kai's skin prickled with the intense energy flowing around him. With the girl's blade aimed at him, he froze and narrowed his eyes, a hiss escaping him at the same time.
"I have better things to do than accompany a girl to her master." He hated masters--human, vampire, or anything in between.
And then Blake was doing his flaming thing and Kai was rather glad he hadn't attacked the man just moments ago. He'd probably have been charred to a crisp for his trouble.
"If you want me, come and get me." He snarled and then bolted away. The girl's blood might not have brought him to full strength, but it would give him the extra energy to run--and he could probably attack someone else soon enough. Someone was bound to be trapped in the maze of alleyways.

Delias looked at them all, tilting his head a bit, eventually he sat down against the wall. Placing his hands behind his head and crossing his legs, he watched the event with an amusement. Occasionally he would glance over his claws, "When is this going to get started?"
Energy shoot through Aspen when Kai decided to run. She knew she couldn't let him get away. Aspen jolted in to a run after Kai. She wouldn't let him get away. Her sleeves flew back while she swiftly ran after the dark haired vampire.
It was just getting later and later. Her master was going to start wondering where she was. Aspen picked up her pace and began to run faster. All she could think was to get him and get home. Then it happened, the drowsiness kicked in yet again. She stumbled on her feet and almost fell, but she quickly caught herself with her hands and got back on her feet. Her eyelids felt heavy and her legs felt like lead. She still tried to keep up the same pace though. Aspen kept running after Kai as fast as her legs would let her.

He didn't go far--he was circling around the alleys, not wanting to lose the others with their strange powers. Still, when the girl stumbled, he found himself slowing, and he turned to check on her.
Not because he was worried for her safety, or that she might be hurt, but to see if she would provide him an opportunity to feed on her.
A vampire was only as strong as his victim, and if she was anything to go by, her persistence would pay off.
"You'd best give up before you drop," he told her. "I can do this all night." Well, he could if he had been properly fed; as it was, his energy was beginning to deplete and he wasn't quite so fast as before.

Aspen shock her head and continued to run after him. "I won't. I can't." she replied as she tried to pick up her pace. She wasn't going to give up, she wouldn't stop unless she completely passed out. Aspen looked down as she shock her head fiercely. When she looked up she glared at Kai.
"Then I'll just have to do this all night as well." Aspen replied with an angered tone. Aspen began to run faster. She was used to being up for days. She would get drowsy then get energy for a while, it was an on and off deal. Aspen was catching up with Kai, and she didn't plan on slowing down.

Blake sighed and shook his head. "Now there's something you don't see everyday. A human chasing a vampire. Ah well, as long as nothing happens I couldn't care less."
He starts walking out of the alley turning his blade into a flame torch and says to the wolf creature, "I'm done here. I know you could use something to eat probably and I'm about to go to the graveyard and bust up some weird cult thing. You're more than welcome to join me. I can assure you there WILL be bodies. They've proven entirely uncooperative and I've been tasked to end them." He paused and looked at the wolf. "Plus, the help would be appreciated. I don't know what kinds of tricks these fools have got and it'd be nice to have an extra set of eyes and, er, paws?"
