This is a Homosexual plot/roleplay. If you're not into that, don't continue reading. Additionally, this plot is romance-centric.
Storyline --
muse a has always been afraid of needles. knitting needles, sewing needles, tattoo needles - there's no difference. ever since he was a child, muse a has held his fear with hints of embarrassment, definitely not pride. he's hidden it away from the world; so well, in fact, that his own mother was not aware of it. this secret has helped him, however. kids wouldn't chase him around with pointy objects, his family wouldn't tease him - it works for him. instead, if he sees a needle, or anything akin to one, he can simply excuse himself before he gets too bothered or uncomfortable. but in a dead-end town such as his, muse a doesn't have very many options for jobs. he could work as a mechanic, or maybe even a postman - but muse a couldn't risk the chance of being near something pointy. he wouldn't be able to last a week in places such as those. he'd feel suffocated, constantly scared, possibly panicked. so, muse a takes up a job as an intern as the town's only library.
but, because the universe has it out for him, a tattoo parlor opens up right across the street. muse a can't quit his internship, and he can't do anything about the parlor. so, he turns his head every time that damned door opens; he ignores it when the tatted-up customers saunter their way out of the parlor, thrilled with their newest tattoo; he even ignores it when the tattooed customers stumble into the library for a good book. but what he can't ignore? he can't ignore it when that stupid parlor starts hanging up their stupid ads on every stupid street corner in that stupid town. not only does he have to mind his vision in his own place of work - but in his own town, too? muse a was enraged.
muse a marched himself right into that tattoo parlor - but when he saw that gorgeous man behind the register, he momentarily forgot his fear, his angry words, and just stared. he stared until the other man (muse b) broke the silence with an awkward, "uh, how can i help you? would you like to hear our daily special?"
