Greetings and salutations!

As the title would suggest, I am recently become interested in learning to play Dungeons & Dragons, by the rules dictated in the fifth (and most recent) edition of the game. As a means to that particular end, I am looking for an experienced/semi-experienced Game Master who would be willing to teach me everything I need to know in order to play. As a note, I would be grateful if my mentor would be willing to show me not only how the game works per the rules provided, but also how the average group would expect me to act. For example, how long should my posts be during the standard match? Do I have time enough for paragraph(s), or should I try to be as concise as possibly I can? Are there times during which I should simply inform the Game Master of my intended actions instead of producing an in-character-form passage to the same end? Such as that. Additionally, though I am entirely happy to learn through The Roleplay Repository, I need for my mentor to understand that I am more than willing to use another medium, including Roll20 where I already have an account readily available.

Thank you so much for your interest! If you are willing to act as the tutor I so am in need of, please be sure to contact me either here in the forums or via RPR's built-in private messaging system. I eagerly await your introduction. Skål!
