Alright, so, I've been on this site for years. I love decorating my characters profiles and making them look nice. Making it so they express the characters, but I CAN'T NOW. Photobucket has made it so you have to pay $400 a month to USE their once free services, and I am now one of the millions of people now flustered and frustrated about it. All of my profiles now have no wonderful pictures.

I mean, I don't know my way around a lot of BBcode technicalities but as long as you can get the images into an accessible image link then you can upload them. As long as you don't put them anywhere where they would be used without your permission, unless you're fine with that. This wasn't much help probably but, just a bit of advice.

Edit: If you're uploading into a gallery, you could probably save some images on your phone or maybe in a file system, like OneDrive.

I, and a few others I know of, usually use Imgur. It is free, you can host as many images as you want, and you can make them all private (link access only), but every so often their servers do go down for a little bit.

I found Flickr. Does Imgur support gifs?

I'm assuming that you don't mean pictures that can fit into a gallery, and more like 'decorative' pictures?
I generally use the Stash option on DeviantART.

I had the same problem with photobucket being a total @#$#!@! I switched to using imgur and made an account so all my stuff is together! Then I just did the same thing *copy image address* then put it in their profiles.

I use Imgur personally, and never had any issues.

Oh gosh. I left photobucket years ago. Like everyone else though, I'd highly recommend making an account on Imgur!

Imgur is your friend, run far away from Photobucket and never return. xD

Just started converting over to Imgur; Photobucket asking for $500 is flatly ridiculous. I can't imagine they're not hemorrhaging users after that move.

Thank you, you guys. I am now working on converting all my stuff over to Imgur, however o.0 none of my gifs seem to work when used with RPR. Oh well, I'm sure I'll figure it out.

*and agreed.. nobody has $400-500 to easily provide a month for photo storage and editing.

I clicked on this because I saw it in my dashboard thing.... really glad I did... I rarely, if ever, go on photo bucket but have a ton of photos there. Looks like I'll be spending the afternoon pulling saving them off there and putting them on a flash drive 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Glad I saw this
