Nomti ignored what was happening and dove into the Nile. He returned about five minute later with the amulet and put it around Amenophis' neck.
"Your greed has done this to you."
"Your greed has done this to you."
The ruby completely shattered and he smiled. His green eyes came to life as his long white and black hair got longer. "Thank you."
Nomti grunted and barked an order to the other Anubites, literally. They all disappeared in whirlwinds of sand before Nomti turned back to Amenophis, "You have new project managers and guards it seems," he smirked and turned away, looking at Camden and put a gentle hand on her shoulder, "You are free to enter the city. Watch where you tread though. Some gods have ridiculous boundaries, mostly Ptah. I'll guide you through."
Camden watched what was going on. She shrieked at Nomti threw the necklace into the water. She nodded, excited to be going to the city. She gathered Raven's tack and put it all back on him. "Where should I put him?", she asked, wondering if she should bring him to the city. She was lucky to have met Nomti. She was being kind and gentle. Most anubites would have killed her on contact.
"He'll be a bit out of place but you can bring him in," Nomti nodded and helped her onto Shadow before taking the leads and guided the horse Towards the great city of Egypt.
She grabbed a canteen from her saddle bag and took a drink. "Want some?", she asked Nomti, grabbing the saddle horn with one hand. She thought about it and realized, this was probably the nicest anyone had ev er been to her. She wondered what Amenophis was going to do.
"I don't need any," he said, waving the canteen aside, "And even if I did, I could make my own."
"Okay.", she says putting the canteen away. "That's awesome.", she says, listening to his second sentence. She turns around backwards in the saddle, leaning against Raven's sturdy neck.
The Pharaoh on the other hand began his work. He first had a few servants come with him to the desert like area. They would only help him with his power. Each servant began to play an instrament, creating a song. Amenophis slammed his gold and blue staff on the ground twice. He starts chanting in the Egyptian language as the sand first started surrounding him.
"Yep, magic," Nomti nodded and led the horse into the stables just outside the city which were mostly full of camels.
Camden slid off of the horse, exiting the stall. She stood beside Nomti, looking at the camels.
"Come on," he put a hand on her back and guided her into the city.
They got several odd looks, mostly because an Anubite was guiding a human, one that wasn't a prisoner.

"Alright.", she said. As they walked through the city, she saw all the looks people were giving them. "Wh yare they lookig at us like that?", she asked quietly. She looked around, imagining where she would stay if she lived here in the city.
After the Pharaoh's long work,he finnaly came back to his kindgdom. Everyone bowed to him but this time he slammed his staff as the streets were painted gold and he started singing. He hadn't been happy in a while and was never this joyful or anything. Everyone got up and started dancing and singing as well. His voice was heard through the kingdom.
Nomti heard him singing and smiled as the streets became paved in gold before answering Camden, "It's because normally when an Anubite brings in a human, their a tomb raider or dead, sometimes both. You are clearly neither of those."
"Oh.", she says quietly, looking around. She hears Amenophis and smiles down at the street. She had pretty much saved his life with the necklace and she hadn't gotten a simple thank you. But, he was a Pharoh, and she was a nobody. She had a smile on his face still as she looked back up at Nomti.
Amenophis was going to change Eygpt for good. First off was his wardrobe changed. His hair showed and flowed with the wind. His eyes showed joy and he acted more the way he looked. His voice was pure as the desert became a holy place of life.
"Yep," Nomti shrugged and couldn't help but smile as he saw Egypt changing before his eyes. The temples and burial grounds were being restored. Creatures which he had thought gone extinct, like the true sphinx, the scorpion men and even a Phoenix.
Amenophis walked to their location with a smile. He had his twenty-four year old smile. "Thank you. You helped a lot. Sadly there is one more problem..." His smile vanished.
"Which is?" Nomti looked calmly at the Pharaoh, ready for anything.
