I rule a place called Egypt. I am treated as a god and honestly I am one. I am respected by my people and pleople who travel through my kingdom. As pharaoh,I will merely give you an easy task. If you do not suceed, then you shall be exicuted. I am Amenophis. Your ruler.
Amenophis sat on his thrown with his gold and blue staff in his right hand. His servants fanned him while placing fresh green grapes to his royal lips. Amenophis noticed a man in rags walk towards him in his palace. "I did not call for the likes of you, peasant!" The man walked slowly towards the pharaoh and bowed. "Young Pharaoh,I am sorry for this disruption. I am here to bring you this..." The man held out a black cloth with a red ruby in the middle. The pharaoh stood up and steped from his thrown. He smiled snatched it from the male as he felt amazing power then fell to his knees.
"My Pharaoh...you must not rule any longer."
The ruby sunk into his skin and reappeared on his chest.
Hm? The ruby of Ammon... It will slowly strip my soul from my body and imprison me for eternity. Stupid Peasant!
Lord Amenophis panted as the ruby slightly cracked. The peasant was arrested and sent to death. The Pharaoh,on the other hand was, bleeding from his mouth. He left a trusted servant in charge as he walked out. He slowly regained his streanth as he walked through the desert in search of a cure.
Damn it's so hot...No one would be alive out here, right? Anyway...the only cure is Ammon's Jaded necklace. I have to get it.
Pharaoh sighed and kept walking. He only wished to pass by a well or someone with some water.

She walked along in the desert. She was riding a horse named Raven. He was solid black and she knew she needed to let Raven rest but there was no shade. It was the middle of the forest for crying out loud! She stopped and got off Raven, and began to walk him. She had a necklace around her neck. It was an crestent moon shaped emerald. She walked until she saw someone, "Hello.", she said quietly.
THe anubite let out a loud growl as the girl on the horse approached and drew both of his cycles, brandishing them menacingly at her.
"What is your business here, female human? You are on sacred ground of Anubis," he twirled his cycles expertly and began walking towards her, the blades moving so fast that they created wind and out of nowhere, he jumped and landed on her, one of his feet-paws on her chest and a cycle at her throat.

Amenophis stopped and turned his head. "Hm? Hello there." He started walking towards her,his royal clothing russling in the wind and his staff making a print as he used it to step forward some. He was indeed a god,but he was not as strong on earth. He could only use his powers to fight. He was also looking at the little creature strutting around and slightly threatening her.
She let out a starled gasp as she was knocked to the ground. Raven reared up and neighed loudly, barely missing the Anubite's head. She struggled to pull a gun from a holster on her side. She pointed it at the anubite, finger on the trigger.
Pharaoh appeared in front of the little Anubis and flipped her gun up with his royal staff and caught the gun in his hand. "That's not a good idea. It's only doing its job."
Camden shoves the anubite off of her and stands. "Well excuse me! I didn' know I was on "the sacred land of Anubis.", she mocks the anubite. She walks back to Raven, gathering his reins. She pulls them over his head and gets back on, hoping Raven could go further in the air. She nudges his sides twice as large, feathery black wings sprout from the horse's sides. She lifts him a few feet into the air.
The pharaoh smirked. "Hm...So you don't bow to a pharaoh after stepping on his land?!" He crossed his arms and held out his staff.
Nomti bowed deeply to Amenophis before speaking, "This is my territory, mine and that of my brothers," he raised his arms out to either side and about 10 little tornados formed, revealing another anubite in each after the sand settled. Each bowed to Amenophis before turning to Camden.
Each Anubite, including Nomti, was about 6'5" including their 5 inch ears and wore a traditional headdress and skirt, both of which had red stripes all along them. Their chests were bare, showing off gleaming black fur and a very muscled body.
Nomti reached up and grabbed Camdens ankle, pulling her from the winged horse, although acting much gentler than before. He was currently against Amenophis' rule, as were the other anubites. His rule had let the burial grounds, whose protection was the soul duty of the Anubites, fall to ruins as made clear by the fact that they were standing over one but the sand had long since hidden it, although none of them said anything about it.
Nomti sheathed his curved blades and held Camdens hands behind her back

Amenophis chuckled and held his cane like staff out towards them all with a smirk. "This is rather interesting. I must say this is very intimidating." Amenophis crossed his arms with his cane/ staff having a royal posture.
"Raven down!", Camden commanded. Raven settled gently to the ground. She was actually sort of shocked at how much more gentle he was this time. "I had no idea you were-", she stopped mid sentence and did the best now she could to Amenophis.
Nomti smirked; even if he didn't like the pharaoh much, it would never change the fact that a compliment, even a more general one like that, meant a lot. The anubites were of course meant to look fierce, just smaller embodiments of their patron god as a matter of fact, but most didn't take them seriously until the cycles were at their throats or they heard the growl, like one of death itself.
He let her bow but then held her again, just tight enough that she wouldn't be able to move her wrists.

Camden looked at Ravem, who was now laying on the ground, sweat covering him. She tried her best to look back at Nomti, then back at Raven, moving her arms a little.
He gripped her wrists a bit tighter, "We'll speak later," he said into her mind.
Amenophis held out his staff and tapped it two times on the ground. He started to grow larger and was taller then them all. "I may be a Pharaoh but I am also a god. I will tell you now that if I die,the world will soon fall to the dust it was made from. This ruby of Ammon is killing me. I was tricked by a mere peasant. I need everyone's help."
Camden nodded mentally. Did that mean he was going t0o let her go? She eyes traveled to the necklace attatched to Raven's saddle horn. It was a moon shaped emerald attatched to a black leather stripe. She looked at Amenophis.
Amenophis found Nomti to be distracting because he was big. He returned to his normal size and started walking. "Hmph."
All the anubites bowed again, Nomti only bowing his head to him since he was still holding Camden. The pharaoh was wrong about that. Nomti knew of Amenophis' greed and despised it. He claimed that the world would crumble? No, if Apophis succeeded in killing Ra during his nightly travels to the underworld, the world would collapse. If Amenophis died, not much would happen. Nomti wasn't even sure what he was the god of. He knew that all pharaohs claimed to be god of the Nile, but that was truthfully Suchos, the crocodile god.
"Respectfully Pharaoh, Anubis has never told us what you are god of."

Camden thought about what he said, "He needs a cure.", she said quietly, knowing what it was. She watched as he walked away, hoping Nomti would let her go.
"Yes. He will not get it," Nomti said into her mind, "You have it. That necklace is the cure. Fortunately, he is not omniscient like Ra or Isis or even Set, so he cannot hear me."
