This Looking For RP topic is marked as closed, meaning it is no longer seeking new players.
I'm pretty used to just modern roleplays, but I've decided to try and do some kind of 1800s steampunk...ish kind of setting, as I feel it would fit a few of my character better than a modern setting... and I just like the style in general.
Anyway I'd prefer there to be quite a fair bit of action, kind of revolved around the idea of gangs or organisations battling for whatever reasons. If not, then I'm cool with just a feud between a few individuals... which could possibly evolve into a larger fight. But I'm not sure, I guess I'll see how it goes.
In the aspect of magic, so far, all my characters have at least one kind of magical ability (which I probably won't continue with my next character or two) so obviously I'd prefer to have that but I wouldn't refuse a good roleplay opportunity because of no magic.
Also, I'm not really fussed about romance at all. Like, I definitely wouldn't prioritise it but I don't care if it's there or not. And I would like to roleplay with things like monsters, demons, etc because I've kind of touched on it in medieval roleplays but never done a full-on proper roleplay so.. yeah, that'd be cool I guess.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Industrial revolution
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
