Silas Arkala (played by KansasVenomoth)

In the nation of Canis Majoris, there have been legends revolving around Azure and the various gods and goddesses that the nation worships; specifically a hidden island where one can meet each of the nation's gods and goddesses; however this visit won't be for a picnic. After studying at the Camor National Library, you've come across some ancient texts. These texts talked about something curious, a strange island just miles north of the country, one that was thought to have been lost over two thousand years ago. This island supposedly houses the very beings the nation reveres, including their most well known goddess, Azure and one can supposedly pursue Eternal Life. However, these texts claim that the pursuit for Eternal Life can ironically end one's life. So far, only two people have completed the trials and the guardians are looking for some more people to try; perhaps you'll be the next person to successfully complete the task.

I'm looking for 1-3 people to take up the challenge. This will be taking place in a high fantasy, early industrial revolution setting RP. There is a high chance for character death and I would like this to be a long term RP. I'd prefer posting lengths to be between 3 sentences to a paragraph. Though, my own posting lengths might vary a bit to describe the surroundings and the like. In addition to the guardians, I'll be taking over the role of Samuel and Salina Clark. Romance is possible, but please do not let it take over the purpose of the RP, however if the characters survive towards the end, feel free to make a relationship or two. Romance with Salina is not possible due to her age, though everything else goes. Prior to jumping in, please read through what's already been going on, I'd rather a newcomer not pop right in after the group has collected feather number four. Once the group gets their first feather, I will be closing this to newcomers. Prior to joining, I'd also highly recommend you read through not only Samuel and Salina's profile, but also the Elemental Guardians as well so you can get an idea of what the RP and the place's world will be like.

The Eternal Tower: A large, gorgeous tower that's known for a prismatic like appearance. Light shines through the tower's many windows in the most beautiful of ways; rainbows practically permeate the room. The Eternal Goddess and the Goddess of Light make their homes here. The Eternal Goddess lives in the very top room, a beautiful room surrounded by beautiful, nearly transparent pink crystals that provide a calming, soothing aura. This is where the eighth trial will take place.

The Forgotten Temple: A large tower in the eastern most extremity of the island. This is the home to the Goddess of the Night. It is known for the crumbling, yet beautiful stone walls that have ancient carvings of the guardians and their ancient worshippers. If one is quiet, they can often hear the hushed whispers of various people.

The Cosmic Temple: This tower is located in westernmost portion of the island and is home to the Goddess of Space. It is a strange, oddly beautiful tower. It is generally dark, but an odd, glow in the dark moss grows throughout the tower, creating for an effect that's similar to the night sky. It is often considered to be the most calming, yet unnerving of the guardians' homes.

The Pura Temple: The Pura Temple is centered on an island within the island. It is home to the Goddess of Water and has numerous fountains, pools, rivers, and waterfalls. The temple is known for various shades blue and it's overall calming aura.

The Forest of Silence: This thick, quiet forest is known for being so silent, that you could hear a pin drop from the other end of the woods. This is home to the God of Earth.

The Toxic Bog: This quiet, eerie bog is home to the Goddess of Poison. One would be wise to remain on the thin, glowing path within the swamp lest the toxic fog suffocate the poor fool. The water is just as deadly, so drinking or even touching it would be ill advised.

The Thundering Mountains: These mountains make up nearly the entirety of the eastern portion of the island and separates the Forgotten Tower from the rest of the island. They are notable for the never ending shower of prismatic lightning that beats upon the surface of the mountains. The God of Lightning makes his home here.

The Ashen Mountains: These beautiful, yet deadly mountains are nestled in the southernmost portion of the island. It is a group of dormant volcanoes, the God of Fire resides here.

On a relatively cool morning in the capital of Canis Majoris, the city of Camor was bustling like usual. People were peopling, birds were chirping, the sun was shining; it was a nice day. The royal siblings of the neighboring kingdom of Betelgeuse, Samuel and Salina Morales were currently in the Camor National Library getting some studies down. Samuel simply wished to find a way to restore his sister's eyesight which was taken from her during her years as a captive in slavery. According to this strange book Samuel's found, there was a strange island that housed a legendary feather that could grant one immortality. If this feather could grant one immortality, then it should be able to restore eyesight, right? Though, the book also stated the journey would be a treacherous one and there's no guarantee that he'd be able to successfully find the Island of Eternus, as the book states that no one has successfully even reached the island in over two centuries. It was worth the risk, Samuel would do anything just to see his sister back to the happy girl she once was and afterwards, he could finally confront his father for what had happened. Little did they know, a certain water goddess was watching over the royal siblings and whomever else may be in the library.

Samuel currently had on his usual outfit; the royal purple armor with the silver accents and the blood red rose which served as his family's insignia. On the back of his right hand was the same rose which was symbolic throughout the nation. Salina wore her usual long, violet dress with a golden bow tied around her waist, her royal insignia could be seen on her right shoulder and her signature staff hung loosely on her back. She couldn't see, so she wasn't able to help her brother much with the studies and ended up falling asleep, lightly leaning on Samuel's shoulder. The prince quietly continued his studies, trying to map out the approximate location of the island. "A dangerous quest that the gods themselves created..." Samuel whispered to himself. "This will be a journey most enjoyable..."
