This might be a bit far fetched but so far, everyone I mentioned the site for, have joined and they love it from what I hear.

However, it'd be nice to have the ability to post a status, maybe add pictures to said status or tag people. It makes it a lot easier to let people know when you're away, when you wish to roleplay and so on since people tend to delete "inactive" people. Then we even post public starters that people can reply to. Instead of only the forums. It kinda makes it a bit hard and besides, everyone is familiar with the status layout on various sites. C:

This is something many of my friends miss too but so far, we're all loving the site.

I know im loving this site so.far . its great and its a.safe haven basically with the worry of "fake accounts" getting shut down all because we want to roleplay.

Thanks for the suggestion! This is something I've been quite tentative about in the past, largely from a moderator burden perspective, but is definitely on my radar to ponder and perhaps one day create.

I agree that status updates are needed, I just had to pm a bunch of people that I'll be inactive for the weekend and status updates would make that simpler.
