Hi guys! I haven't properly introduced myself on this site as a roleplayer but you can find me on DeviantArt by the same username. Examples are in my gallery.
I'm looking to broaden some of the examples in my gallery as I can't seem to stop drawing my dragon OCs — they're fun but I'd rather not force myself into another period of subject exhaustion.
For this reason I was thinking of taking some tentative requests on here. It's possible that nothing may come of this as I'm busy and my artistic muse is evasive; I'm purely just looking for some inspiration in the form of other peoples' characters.
If I do draw your OC, it will be in whatever medium and whatever complexity strikes me at the time; it could be full body or bust, shaded or non, or an entire full render if I'm feeling really inspired. Or just a simple crummy doodle for fun.
Basically, it's a big surprise and please don't take it personally if you receive the latter or I skip over/don't choose your OC; it's not personal, odds are that it just wasn't something I was capable of drawing or particularly inspired to draw.
Please also don't harass me or beg me to draw your character. I'm just doing this to exercise my art muscles and hopefully present a little gift to someone or another.

Characters without at least one visual reference

- Please have a reference for your character. If you don't have a drawn reference, provide me with as many links as possible to faces, hair styles, colors, outfits, etc. I won't draw a character with only a written description.
- Please do not repost my art on any other website. You can display it on your dA page or RPR profiles, but for instance I don't want it re-uploaded without credit to tumblr or dA...etc. Please always credit me for the artwork.
- Don't edit my work yourself. You can of course politely request that I change something if it wasn't accurate, I absolutely don't mind and I'm usually completely willing. I do want to make sure I get your OC correct!
- I will only draw original characters. No fan art, no OCs with references that were not commissioned by you or gift art specifically for you (like googled artwork.) Fan-characters from a specific universe are okay as long as they follow the other rules in this list (i.e. waterbender in the Avatar universe or something like that.)

Your art really is impressive! I'm always amazed (and a little jealous) by people who can churn out something so stunning. If you do need inspiration, I'm willing to offer up Aearion. In the past he got some people's creative juices flowing. Or if you're looking for something more standard, Valder might be up your alley as well.
Very generous! Lemme throw my people at you. Many of my characters are pretty burly, so if you are looking for that sort of practice, they might be up your alley.
Heimdall: a big ol' Norse dragon. Lotta scales and pointy bits.
Ivian: Alcoholic knight covered in scars.
Zazeal: Super mean wealthy minotaur. Byzantine attire. (Please do include his red markings, but they don't have to be exact)
Marlemier: A grouchy healer woman. A badger/squirrel hybrid with huge claws.
Brendel: I don't play him much anymore, but Brendel is a tall, gangly, kinda creepy nobleman.

Of my characters, Merrin's the one with most art so he'd probably be easier to draw. They're all of back when he was alive, though, but as an undead ghost he looks mostly the same if not more ethereal. (I'd be happy to provide references for his other guises, too, like the bagpipe skeleton.)
Alternatively, another character I have that's already got some art is Wizard Elazan, a physically active wizard who dresses like an archetypical evil sorcerer and has a thing about pointed beards and pointed hats.
The rest of my characters have less art, with Khwezi, my Zulu Ishogulu vampiress, and Parma, my wandering blue-skinned knight, not having any, and Mary Collins having one outdated picture (due to me changing stuff about the character). I'd also be happy to provide references if you want to give one of these a shot, though.

If they interest you any, I'll offer up Khali and his art is here or Ink. There's only one reference of drawing on her page, but her appearance is rather basic. Usually nude, but sheaths herself with a black thick skin to make herself look otherwise.
