Autumn smiled and got off the bed, pulling Kenji down for a deep, loving, and burning kiss before she pulled away too soon for him to kiss back. She was teasing him. Slipping past him, she quickly left the room and ran down all four flights of stairs before going to the front door. Opening the door, her night clothes were tight and showed off all her curves. Her hair fell perfectly to outline her face. She looked rather sexy and radiant looking. "Oh do you have the clothes?" she asked sweetly. A smile graced her lips and she stepped out to meet him. Taking the clothes from him, she paused to look at him. "Im sorry but there isnt a reason to be scared," she said gently. "Do you need a place to stay?" she asked and motioned for him to come inside. He looked rather afraid and cold, it was freezing outside. They had enough rooms for him to stay so she was happy in offering him a place. It would be a very cold day indeed. "We are having a dance tonight and im sure it would be fun if you came," she invited kindly.

The kiss left Kenji wanting more, before he could react however she left him to retrive the clothes. He licked his lips and let out a sigh. He wanted so badly to chase after her. But he was in a towel, and he would dare not disgrace himself by running acter her in such a manner. He sighed and awaited for Autumn to return. He looked at the bed room and sat down on the bed relaxing; he began to daydream if how wonderful Autumn would look in the gown she described to him. He could help but fantasize her dancing at the ball. Him intervening while she was dancing alone to dance with her. He smiled to himself as his fangs glinted in the dull lite room. It surely was going to be the best of events.

The messenger nearly jumped out of his skin as the door was opened. He shook and handed the package over to Autumn. "um...um.um..this pacakge is for Kenith james.....you are not kenith are you? He doeant devour young men does he?"he said as he sqeuked out the words. He was trembling as he looked at her and when the words dance hit his ears; he gulped and shook even more."uhhhhh im quite alright thankyou miss...i dont know if i should....unless im invited....after all im just a messenger."he said looking at Autumn wIth his emerald green eyes. He squeaked again as he noticed how enchanting Autumn was he gulped knowing she wqs alrwaydy taken. He looked at her almost frozen in his footsteps.

Autumn couldnt help but laugh softly. "I live here sir. You are invited. Now come i will show you to one of our guest rooms. You look rather tired and cold," she said gently. Taking his arm in hers, she shut the door and led him upstairs to a guest room on the second floor. Opening it up, she ushered him inside and quickly told him where everything was. "Feel free to take a bath. There are extra clothes in the dresser. Im quite sure they will fit you. Feel free to use the bed as well. The dance begins at eight o' clock sharp. See you then," she said cheerily then walked out. Rushing back upstairs, she came into the room and walked over to the bed. Placing the clothes on the bed next to Kenji, she leaned over him with a worried frown. "Please tell Channing not to scare the messengers. He tells them you will devour them if they make you angry. I invited the messenger to stay for the dance and one night. He was shaking so bad and afraid of you. I hate to see innocent people that way," she said with compassion for the messenger downstairs. Then she leaned down and smiled a little, giving him another loving and burning kiss. "I love you Kenji but dont go scaring people," she whispered against his lips.

Kenji let out a warm and hearty laugh as Autumn told him how thebmessenger reacted. He held Autumn close as he was kissed. He looked at her and furthered to smile. "aww poor thing. Ill be sure to definatly scold him for that. He must have.been shaking like a leaf in hte wind." He said as he galnced over to Autumn. He looked at the package and gently took it from Autumn. He opened itband looked at the clothes. They were very tasteful indeed. Much to.kenjis liking. A black cotton shirt, black pants and a brand new leather duster coat to cover himseld when the sun was out. It even had a hood to shield him from the sun rays. He looked at Autumn as he put on the shirt as well as undef garments. He then slipped on his pants very quickly and after words removing the towel. He smiled and set the dustedlr aside as he looked at Autumn and smiled. He held her close and planted a earm and loving kiss on Autumns gentle lips as he smiled into her eyes.
The messenger with his green eyes made his way into the guests room. He let out a sigh of relif as he removed the hidden pistol from his wasit coat. He was glad that he didnt have.to use it. He had very keen eyesight when it cake to firing hisbweapon, a gift one would say and with him delivering packages to very shifty adresses he aquired the skill. He sighed as he had never fone to a ball before. He owed was stillvery curious about what Channing meabt by devour. And his suspicious choice in a high collared shiet. Th e thought bigged him as the whole town had been buzzing about vampires and murder. He was going to.get to the bottom of it and figure the mystery out.

Autumn kissed Kenji back and smiled against his lips. She crawled into the bed and layed next to him on her back. Gathering her hair, she pulled it to one side of her neck. The bare side facing Kenji. "You need to drink. I want you to be at your best always," she said quietly and looked at him, purposely inticing him to drink. "Dont ask for permission. You always have my permission to drink when you need it," she explained and reached over to him. Gently brushing her fingers along his cheek before she lightly brushed her fingertips down his neck. She had a featherlight touch and she watched her fingers trailing. Then her eyes trailed back to his and she gripped the front of his shirt, pulling him closer. "Drink," she practically ordering him to do so.
Henry sorted through some papers and signed some things. A second later something hard came down on his head and he was out cold. He would not make it to the dance that night and would be prior engaged.

Kenji looked at Autumns exposed neck as she enticied him the yank on his collar of his shirt was a clear and definant answer. He looked ay hee nad gently burshed his lips agaisnt Autumns gentle neck. As always being so kind and gentle to her. He smiled and gently bit down and began to draw her blood into him. It took only minutes before Kenji's strength returned to him. He took a few more small mouthfuls before he withdrew from her enjoying the small whines and gasps from Autumn. He held her close and gently tugged her into bed wi th him. He held onto her cuddling agasint her ready at any moment to fall asleep. He looked to Autmn and smilded almost childish. "willbyou sleep in bed with me Autumn?"he asked and held her close not wanting anything to ruin the moment.

The young and mysterious messeger set with a task to figure out the mystery of the Quinn manor bodly began his search. He had an eye for detail and could tell something was ofd immeidatly. He walked out of the other guest room and as he walked down the hall he heard a slightly whine and gasp from a woman. And then words coming from an obvious well groomed.man later. He rolled his eyes, he did not dismiss it yet he felt as if they were courting. He walked around careful to avoid the gaze of the servants o fte manor. They were all busy preparing for the nights dance. And he was well ignored at the moment, he wandered the manor making a mental jote were he had been and were he had not. He gazes at th e manors decoration and could tell some of the decorations were put in ace by a tacky money digging woman. He hwld back a disgusted groan and continued to spy of the manor lide. Unknowlingly he stumbled upon Henry's study. He pressed his back against the wall and listened close for any words that were to be spoken.

Autumn gripped Kenji tightly when he drank, the whines and gasps emitting without permission. Then she was being pulled onto the bed and into Kenji. Who held onto her tightly but gently. His childish smile, looking so cute on him. Autumn smiled and gently brushed a thumb across the corners of his lips. Wiping the escaped blood onto his lower lip softly so she didnt have to get it on anything else. "Of course i will Kenji," she whispered and gave him a loving kiss before she settled back into the bed and his embrace. She was completely relaxed and at peace around him and especially in his hold. Soon she was falling into the deep, dark, warm embrace of sleep.
Margrett looked at her fallen ex husband then to the man she had hired. "Make sure to get Mr. Quinn far away from here. I need to take care of his daughter once and for all. She is a nuisance and i am tired of dealing with her. Make sure you get your job done right," she said icily to the man she hired. He nodded then hefted Henry over his shoulder as if he was nothing more than a bag of grain. The man was tall, muscular, and handsome to say the least. He took a secret passage out of the study as Margrett left and ran into the mouse of a man standing outside the study. "And just what are you doing here?" she asked. Margrett was a beautiful, young looking woman so it was not hard to tell how Henry fell for her.

Kenji smiled as Autumn was crawoed i.bed with him. He smiled and let out a small yawn and eventually fell asleep in Autumns inbhis arms as hebslepr. Everyrhinf was fine and he queitly drifted into a deep sleep not too be woken until his nartural ryhthm of nightfall fell.

The messenger's eyes quickly turned his emerald green eyes to the woman that questioned him. He smiled and coulldnt help but show his babt face.and his unnaturally young looking face. He smiled politley and began to fidget."i am sorry miss I was here delivering a package to Mr. Kenith James...i was very frightened you see mam. I heard so many rumors about this place. I heard that this manor was lurking with vampires and murderes. I was told by channing to be kn my gaurd about Kenith James hes a guest here, and um..."he said looking down for a twenty three year old his features were to adorable. At the same time the green eyed decrective already heard enough of what he needed to here. The place was full of murder. And so far it pointed to the young beautiful woman clad in expensive clothinng and jewelry. He had the horrible habit of acting like a cute mouse whe it came to strangers so far it had worked diverting the attention. He gulped and let a small squeal escape his lips. "i was invited to the ball by a young woman. And she let me stay in the guests room until then. I promise mam. I was looking for the bathroom and I got lost." He said and looked away obviously showing signs of embaressment.

Night fell quickly and Autumn woke up just an hour before so she could get ready. Gently easing out of Kenji's hold and silently slipping out of the room. Disappearing into her room as she called Annie in to help her with her dress. Annie jerked the corset's strings tight and tied them off. Then Autumn stepped into her beautiful, snow white dress. It was strapless and low on her chest but not too terribly low. Annie tired it up in the back and smiled as she saw how beautiful Autumn looked. Autumn then dismissed her and got to work on her hair and face. Though not much was needed except for to weave in white and gold ribbons into her wavy auburn hair. Then she fixed it to where it framed her face perfectly and the bangs were side swept. Finally she sprinkled some silver glitter on her eyelashes that made it look like snow flakes were trapped there. In all, she looked sexy and down right gorgeous. Now she had to wait for Annie to come and tell her whenthe party started.
Margrett looked at the man suspicously then pointed down the hall, dismissing him with the one quick motion. "Hurry then. The dance will be starting soon," she said before disappearing down the hall towards Henry's bedroom. Where she got herself ready for the dance making herself look younger and more beautiful. Since she would have to find herself another husband.
The dance started a good hour after darkness fell, many men and women coming to it.

Kenji woke the second night fell Autumn was clearly out of his grasp as he awoke. She had gotten up early to get ready. He smiled as he strecthed and lut his duater on. He opened the rooms window and climbed out of it. He speed dashed to Channings estate were he was met with new body gaurds. Kenji grinned with sadistic look on his face. "ah gentle men. Tell channing Kenith James is here to see him." He said as he looked at the men staring them diwn unafraid of their size. The second he mentioned his name they practically flung the door open for him. He quickly made his way into Channings estate were the.man greeted him he gave Kenji his clothes to hand maids were they procceded to go into a dressing room. Before hand kenji shot a glance at channing as spoke."careful channing... I hold your very life in my hands. I need you to to spread foul words. Or perhaos i may get hungry again"he warned as he looked at the man and went to the dressing room. Kenji was dressed in a fine black dress jacket and a black vest. The jacket had gold embroidery around the buttons fastened into a tasteful array. One wouldbsay it was fitting for a.noble in his time. He wore fine black satin pants along with a wide brimmed hat with hawk feathers decorating it. he smiled as he put on the eagle mask and he procceded to the front door. An elegant cardage had been arranged. The horses beautiful golden mares. And the coach a.jet black linned with gold trim. He smiled as he made his way to tbe ball amd stepped out of the carrage in his elegant display.

The green eye detective quickly made it to the bathroom as he phonned interpol of what he had just confiremed. Margarret quinn was the sour,e of all the murders that were going around town as well as the potential murder of Autumn quinn. Henry quinn bilogi,al daughter of his first wife. He had neen on the quinn case for quite.some time after the first lady was murdered. He had suspicions, but now they were confirmed. He quickly dressed in ball attire his glowns anelevant emerald with black trim to frame his.green eyes. For his mask he chose that of a wolf and.made his way to the ball room a sting was soon to be in progress.

Annie arrived shortly after dark and explained all who were there. Everything that was going on the did the rest of Autumn's make up. The make up was her mask, it ha been Annie's idea to do an elegant snow queen of some sort. Annie applied white make up to her eye lids and a black swirl at the corners of her eyes. Then she took some fake, small, clear jewels and attached them along the outside of the swirl. Then she applied a frosty but elegant feature to Autumn's skin. She truly looked like a snow queen after Annie sprinkled some white, fake flakes on her hair that sparkled in the light. It wasnt too much or too little. It was perfect and Annie gushed at how amazingly gorgeous she looked. It was honestly undescribable the beauty and sexiness that came with it. The dress hugged her torso tightly and showed off every curve of her body. Then it flared out slightly but was slim and loose after the V shaped waist line of the built in corset. It was strapless but hugged her body tightly enough to keep it on and was a bit low on the chest but nothing too revealing.
Annie finally led Autumn to the top of the stairs of the second floor then let Autumn proceed the rest of the way on her own. Many men stopped chatting and theyre eyes locked on Autumn. The huge crowd of people slowly quieted and stared in amazement at the undescribabley beautiful woman coming down the stairs into the ball room. Women envied her and men wanted her. Autumn however had only eyes and heart for one man. For one vampire.

Kenji proudly walked away from the crowd as many people gawked and jaws dropped. He had worb something Victorian era men would have worn. He smiled and ignored the swoones fo the women that stared at him. As he entered the ball room his eyes darted as he saw Autumn in her blue dress. He stumbled backwords and a man wearing a wolf mask and a dark shade of forest green caught him makinh sure he was alright.
"quite the woman that there is miss Autumn Quinn prized jewel of the quinn household. Take it easy there sin. You ruin your cousrome." The man saud as he helped Kenji back onto his feet. Kenjis eyes couldnt take his eyes off Autumn, her beautiful body wrapped in such a beautiful dress. He looked at her and couldn't keep his head on. He wanted more then anything to rush up and dance with Autumn. He held back and waited for his plan. He blushed underneath his eagle mask and took in all of Autumns glory. She was truly a sight to behold. He was foucused on Autumn until his eyes caught a a shade of emerald green dart behind the crowd. He grew uneasy...there was something else planned here tonight. Hw had no idea what. He found it odd. His eyes narrowed to a man alsobwearing a wolf mask and his eyes heldbthe color of emeralds. He raised an eyebrow qnd his foucus came to Autumn. He like Autumn stood out, he wore a wide brimmed hatbwith gold embrodiery and contrasted against a black backdrop. Let alone his carrige was enough to turn heads.

Autumn stepped off the last stair and nodded to men who eagerly rushed up trying to talk to her and get her attention. Though she just nodded them off and walked through the crowd looking for one in particular. Everyone goes back to their chatter after the first intial shock of her attire and beauty. Then Autumn got caught up in a young man's arms as he took her out to the dance floor as a slow song started up. Autumn internally sighed and yearned for Kenji not the man she was dancing with now. The man pressed her closer against him and eagerly danced with her. Even when Autumn was less enthusiastic. Once the song ended, she pulled away quickly and tried to escape back into the crowd. However was caught by an older man but a bachelor nevertheless. Of course, Margrett had invited many bachelors to this party. Autumn let out a frustrated sigh but didnt protest as the man pulled her back out to the dance floor.Kenji. I dont know where you are but rescue me from all these bachelors! she thought to him hoping he would hear.
Margrett watched bachelor after bachelor grab at Autumn. A rage built up in her but she held it in with an icy calmness that kept many people away from her.

Kenji gently pushed his way through the crowd as he finally got to Autumn. His dress attire made everyonr take a step back. He bowed before Autumn and held out his hand. "would you care for a dance Madam Autumn quinn?" He siad in such a formal and seductive way it drove all of the pesky bachelors aside. Kenji smiled as his grey eyes glinted for a second red, letting Autumn knoe who he was. He looked at her in the most gentleman of ways and of thr most charming. Kenji was going to steal her away from all those unwanted men near Autumn. For she was his, and it was something that woukd remain.

Autumn smiled as she realized who it was and quickly took his hand. "I would love to," she replied with a enchanting smile. Many women became jealous over Autumn getting the man in the eagle costume but she ignored their murmurings as she danced with Kenji. Most of the songs were slow and allowed Autumn to be close to Kenji and enjoy the time with him. As they danced to the third song that evening, she put her head on his chest and smiled contently.
Margrett watched with narrowed eyes as Autumn and the man in the eagle costume danced. Grabbing Ryan's arm, she pointed to them. "You know your part now get moving," she hissed fiercely. Ryan nodded and walked onto the dance floor. Tapping Kenji's shoulder to cut in, Autumn looked up and smiled faintly at Ryan. "Hey Ryan. Glad you could make it," she said to him and he smiled charmingly. "Of course i came. I came to see the prettiest woman here," he complimented and Autumn looked a bit uncomfortable but offered a small smile then looked at Kenji. "One dance and then im all yours," she said quietly to him and gave him a seductive smile before taking Ryan's outstretched hand.
Ryan pulled her away from Kenji and led her to a different part of the dance floor. They slowly danced to one song wrapped in a comfortable silence. Once the song ended, Ryan put his arm around her waist and forcibly pulled her down a secluded hallway with Autumn trying to pull away. "Ryan! Let go! I sai-" she was cut off as Ryan pinned her to a wall and crushed his lips onto hers. Autumn tried pushing at him but he was by far much stronger than herself. Ryan slowly took out a small knife from his boot and kept Autumn distracted by the kiss as he pressed it slowly into her side. A small flame of pain erupting there on Autumn.

Kenji growled seeing another that Autumn knew before him. The thought of another man dancung with Autumn infuriated him..he kept a close eye on Autumn and saw her walking away from the ball floor. He growled seeing her with the man called Henry. He wincend and let out a pained cry clutching his side. He felt himself bleeding and then he smelt Autumns blood. He unintentionally cried louder over the croewd of poeple as well as the talking. Immediatly someone in an emerald green suit and a wolf mask went running towards Autumns direction. Moments later a large group of men wearing green and wolfs masks blockaded the exits. Kenji didn't have time to react, he immediwtly bolted towards Autumns direction and saw Henry forcibly kissing Autumn, he growled as he smelt Autumns blood. He grabbed the mans collar and lifted him up off of Autumn and his feet dangled in the air. His eyes flashed red as he smelt Autumns blood on him."how dare you...how dare you kiss my soon to be wife...im going to ki~" kenji was cut off as a green eyed man heldbup a pistol and demanded he drop the man. Kenji did so and looked at him."please...Autumn is hurt."kenji pleaded with the man as he looked at him.

The green eyed detective looked at the eagle coustume wearing man. He had lifted another man a good eight inches off the ground with little struggle. He gulped and pulled out his badge. And then looked to the man that was crawling onbthe ground."hold it right their pal. Your not going anywere and neither are you, mr. Kenith James i presume. Edgar s'fisk interpool you are both under arrest and going to be detained for queationing. Margareet quinn is also inder arrest." He aai d and pulled out a walky talky. "pack leader green, to wolf pack. Execute phase one" he ordered as other men in blue and wearing dog masks came from the crowd in various spot came up to margarret and arreated her. "margareett you are under arrest for murder, kidnapping and attempted homicide." One of the men in blue read.

Kenji on the other hand quickly went to Autumn and held her hand kissing it."autumn my love. Im going to take care of you. Im sorry."he aaud fighting back tears of blood as He felt he let Autumn down. He had let her get hurt, yet again.

Autumn couldnt help but sink to the floor as Kenji grabbed him and pulled him away as well as off the ground. Blood was soaking into her dress at a fast pace and she put her hand over it, squeezing out of pain. Silent tears fell from her eyes and she tried to defened Kenji from the man in green bu no words came out of her mouth except a sob.
As Kenji bent down and took her hand in his, she looked at his eyes. There was a desperate pleading in her eyes that Kenji wouldnt leave her. Fear of what would happen to Kenji was covering every other emotion except for the love she felt for him. It was almost impossible for a person to have so much love for another as she gripped Kenji's hand as hard as she could but it wasnt much as her strength started to ebb. Looking up at the man in green, her eyes held a begging there that he wouldnt take Kenji away. Autumn suddenly pulled Kenji down onto her and her arms wrapped around his waist, pulling him close. She put her head on his shoulder and held onto him tightly not doing anything to stop the bleeding now. "D-dont..leave..m-me.." she stammered barely above a whisper. Gripping his black dress jacket in her now bloody hands, she buried her face in his shoulder and refused to let go of him.

Kenji couldn't hold back his tears any longer blood began to flow from his face onto Autumns shoulder as he held her."ill never leave you. Never."he said as he sobbed he had to stop the bleeding. There was no way he was going to let her die. He cried and held Autumns head and whispered into her ear."i can save you Autumn but there is one thing you must do. I would save this for our wedding but its going to have.to be now. I need you to drink my blood." He said as he withdrew his hand and pulled loose his clothes from his neck. He took his hand and sliced open a small part of his neck letting it bleed.bhe didnt care the green eyed man was watching, his blood was the inly thing that could save Autumn. He looked to her and guided her hhead to the wound. He would later have to seal the bond and allow Autumn to fully change. He would have to exchange blood. He held her as the world didn't even matter, the only thinng that mattered was Autumn.

Autumn looked at the blood and cut, at first she was going to protest but she could feel herself fading fast. Barely digging her nails into his back, she put her lips around the cut and forced the blood down. Taking small mouthfulls at a time, expecting the blood to have a metallic taste but shocked her as it tasted sweet. It was an addicting taste and she drank a little bigger mouthfulls. Her nails dug slightly deeper into his back but not eough to hurt. When Kenji pulled her away from it, a small whine escaped her now bloody lips. Then a blush raged across her cheeks as she realized that. Licking the blood off her lips and from the corners, she looked up at Kenji. "Im sorry.." she apologized for the whine that escaped.
Autum then pressed her soft, warm lips to his colder, soft ones. All her love, passion, and concern for him was put into that one soft, burning kiss. When she pulled away a tiny bit, she kept their lips brushing. "Promise me you will never leave me," she whispered against his lips. Her eyes darted to the man in green, a cold fury lying in their depths. It was scarier than Margrett's and that was saying something for sure.

Kenji closed an eye as Autmn began ti take mouthfull from hjm. He wi.cened slightly as she did, hearing rhe smallwhine from her only made matters worse;her gently pulled Autumns warm hips closer to his as he looked to her."never Autumn. Never shall i leave you. And there is no need to appologize for your whine. Mind you your are not like me. Howver you will be stronger, faster and will heal quicker then normal."he said forewarning her of changes that were going to occur. He held her warm body against his barely wamr body, he placedhis hand on Autumns jaw kissing her not caring about the blood that dripped from her mouth. His own wound began to heal as he held her, Autumn was not going any were and neither would he. He shot angry red eyes and the green eyed man as he let out a low growl protecting Autumn.

With that growl the green eyed man stepped back and let out a small laugh. He yanked off his mask to reveal he was the same messenger from before. He looked at Ryan still lying on the ground. He pulled out silver handcuffs cuffing the man."my it seems miss quiinn has the "vampire" as a lover. This only makes matters worse my dear, for you. I will leave it alone however, but with Murders in this house and the stake and fir inncident. I suppose i have enough evidence to incarcerate Margrett quinn for murder and kidnapping."he said admiring the two as they w.ere in an endless embrace with one another; both refusing to let the other leave. He smiled as he walked Ryan out of theur as the group had handcuffed the fighting and bickering Margarett.
