As the Grimm yanked the knife out a look of pain went across his face and he let out a cry sounding more like a yelp than an ouch. "If not looks like ill be crawling out of here." Preston said to the Grimm. As he attempted to stand he fell to one knee holding his side, the bandages were turning a bright red from blood as he stood up he walked out of the doorway and began to leave but suddenly stopped and turned around. He pulled out his wallet and left a credit card on the counter. "Like i said, the damages are on me." he said to the Blutbad, then proceeded to leaving once more.
Scarlet blinked, staring at the card. Should she take it and pay it off? Was it a prank?
Or it could be your awful manners when you tried to bite his head off. her conscience whispered. She felt her head spin and took the card between her fingers, still dazzled.
"Thanks...but you don't have to." she neared him, still cautious, and slipped it back in his pocket. "First cause I took part in this too and second I don't need your money." she said, raising a brow and turning away, heading back to her counter and gathering some bandages that were left over as well as bringing a bucket and brush to clean the fresh blood from the floor.

Aurora watched them for a moment, surprised that they seemed to not want to kill each other anymore. She looked at the Blutbad.
"I guess I should be going too. I'm sorry if I caused you any trouble." Aurora bowed her head at the Blutbad and walked toward the door.

"..."
Scarlet stared at her go speechless.
"I give her one week. Or a little less," she muttered, assesing the Grimm's chances of survival. Too naive... she thought. A seed of sympathy was planted inside her heart; Scarlet did not follow tradition and therefore was hardly prejudiced against other Wesen. There were always exceptions to the rule, after all. But Grimms were a whole lot different subject. Grimms would not hesitate to chop your head off for sport, for a hunt, for some stupid reason even though you were innocent of all sins. Scarlet had grown up with her father telling stories about the notorious Marie Kassler, who dreaded Blutbanden above all other Wesen and favored to hunt them down and amputate them, with the excuse of some of them being human-eaters. Scarlet was a vegetarian -the total opposite of those Blutbaden- and had no intention of ever putting human flesh in her mouth again. She had done it once. Back when she was part of The Pack there were no limitation; there was the peer pressure to eat or be eaten. Her brother was still part of it, probably still leading it as well. Scarlet had snapped out of it quickly after the first human meal. She never wanted to lose control again. What had just happened tonight was much more painful to her than the other two could understand; it was proof that the strict regimen she'd been following those last three years was a waste of time, a proof she was still a wild Blutbad.
But then again, she didn't kill the Coyotl when she could have. Did that mean she'd actually made progress?
"Forget the week, I give her a day or two." she corrected herself, still mumbling and rubbing the floor.

he was hesitant to allow her to make his promise false he pulled the card back out and threw it back in the shop. It slid across the floor and hit the counter. He left without saying a word holding his bandages that covered the wound he walked down an alleyway and met up with three large men. One wore a cowboy hat, another had a mullet and a long beard, and the third one had a stump of a hand. The four proceeded walking away and one of the men started singing a song by Jason Aldean. the song began to fade into a whisper as the moved farther away until it stopped entirely.
Scarlet frowned looking at the card.
Well at least I tried...she thought to herself. Her panic had not entirely faded away yet, however. Reaching below the counter she felt her cell phone firm in her hand. She dialed the number -which she had already memorized- and lifted the device to her ear, waiting for a reply after the familiar beep...
"Monroe.", the man picked it up from across the line.
"It's Scarlet. You will never guess what just hapenned..."
"The wall clock broke again?"he said, with a hue of worry in his own voice. Scarlet rolled her eyes -pointless when he couldn't see her.
"A Coyotl broke my window. And you know that thing with Coyotls; if you deal with the first another ten will come to join it." she spoke, without fear in her voice but certain worry.
"Oh...that's bad news. Want me to come over?"
"Not to burden you but...you're probably the only one in range."
"Get water boiling, I want tea."
Scarlet frowned and hung up. As much as she hated his company, there were few alternatives. One was her brother -a much better bodyguard than the reformed Blutbad that was Monroe- but he lived up in the mountains and it would take lots of time to get there. Scarlet needed to act fast. The Coyotl she had just met was hurt, but there was no telling what could happen if he returned with a pack. She could do with one, not with three. With a male by her side things would be easier...she could guess. Patient but nervous at the same time, she locked the door, dragged an antique wardrobe over the broken window to cover it and sat behind her counter, leaning against the wall.

The four Coyotls got inside of the large Ford pickup parked three blocks away and began to drive back to the farm in which they reside. The large man wearing a cowboy hat made it clear to Preston and the rest of the pack "Look if your going to attack somebody, and you know that they are somethin that can do alotta damage to ya, don't run in head on like a jack ass. Yall got phones, Call the pack! we can rough anybody up with our numbers even though were small." Preston begins to speak but gets interrupted by Luke "Ah! no, I don't wanna hear it... we can raise some more hell tomorrow." the rest of the ride home was quiet.
(I'm introducing a Canon here -since none was reserved I took the liberty of claiming him- Monroe.)
Monroe arrived shortly after the call, knocked on the door and waited for the woman to answer.
"'sup?" he said, faking a weak smile.
"'sup? That's all you have to say?" she mocked, shaking her head.
"Do I smell tea?" the male Blutbad replied, eager to change subject.
"You said you wanted tea, so I made tea." Scarlet said, still grumphy.
"Hey, listen, I'm pretty sure the Coyotls won't come after you now I mean...why would they do such a thing..." Monroe mumbled, lying to both her and himself.
"Because they're a race of anti-social assh*les that's why!" the woman said, throwing her hands up in the air. "I'm done with playing the fool, Monroe. My brother's right. I'm not meant to live like this..." she said, rubbing her sore eyes with the back of her palms.
"So what, will you head up in the mountains to live like a savage? Like Jonathan does? Is that what you want with your..."
"I want to be happy. And he IS happy. He's got his wildlife...his pack...his place. What do I have? A stupid shop with a broken window?" She growled, fetching a disk with two tea cups.
"You're underestimating yourself." The Blutbad continued, taking his place on the small couch opposite her.
"No. You are." she said between clinched teeth. "You know what I felt tonight, while I was beating this guy up? I felt...alive! Free. It's been a long time since I felt that good..."
"But then you looked at what you've done and felt your heart leap in your stomach. Story of my life," there was a touch of sarcasm in his voice.
"I didn't feel bad for him."
"You let him live, however."
"I didn't want a whole pack to come rushing after me."
"They will whatsoever." he warned. "And when they do, the two of us will get our heads ripped off." Monroe frowned. He could already feel her change of mood. He could tell by the look in her eyes she was already beginning to lose control again.
"Then I'll be ready for them when they come." the woman growled.

Aurora was worried. Both of the creatures she had met had tried to hurt each other and neither of them seemed to like her very well. She stopped walking and closed her eyes. Tomorrow she would go check on the Blutbad and see how she was doing then maybe go check on the Coyotl if she could find him. Aurora knew she shouldn't worry about either of them but she wanted to worry. She was a Grimm who didn't follow the ways the other Grimms had made everything. She just wanted to show everyone not every Grimm was evil. Aurora opened her eyes, turned around and started to walk back to the store the Blutbad owned. She wanted to help with the mess they all had made.
Monroe laid back in his chair, enjoying the warm tea as the woman opposite him went to boil some more water. When Scarlet came back, the look on her face was not the same; she was much calmer and relaxed. Cooking had done this to hear; it had some sort of meditating effect for her anger.
"So, what's gonna happen with the window?" the male Blutbad said, eyeing what was now a hole and had been covered with an antique wardrobe.
"Uh I might as well be taking another loan...this place isn't much of a treasure but it's pretty much all I have."
Monroe shrugged, taking another sip of tea. Scarlet wanted to tell him about her first encounter ever with Aurora the Grimm, but felt hesitant. The two of them were not close, just two Blutbaden that happened to live around the same area. He had repaired some antique clocks for her once and that was pretty much how the two had met. The only reason she actually called him over was because two Blutbaden were better than one and Scarlet was almost certain that nasty Coyotl would soon be back with his friends. The woman leaned back, deciding not to bring up the Grimm subject. At least not for now.

Aurora stopped and smacked herself in forehead when she was near to the shop but not close enough for either of the Blutbaden to hear her.
"What am I thinking? She probably doesn't want to see me." Aurora said to herself. She wanted to help the female Blutbad but Aurora didn't want the Blutbad to be more angry with her. Aurora walked into a nearby alley and leaned against one of the walls, trying to make up her mind about visiting the female Blutbad.

Monroe let out a deep sigh.
"Well, it's been a time and a half..." he said, trying to subtly make his way back home. Scarlet shook her head with a bitter smile.
"Yeah I know, you wanna head home." she breathed then got up from the couch. "It's ok. I think I found my cool now."
Monroe got up and allowed her to lead him to the exit.
"Do not hesitate to call me if you need anything," he said politely.
"You should worry cause I won't." she said raising both eyebrows in a cunning smile. He smiled right back. All of sudden, his nose caught a scent. Monroe knitted his eyebrows. Scarlet perceived the alarm immediately and sniffed the air.
"Wait...do you smell that?" he said, sniffing around. The woman's face went pale. Of course she could smell that. Actually she knew what she smelled as well; it was the Grimm girl. Monroe was scanning the place. "Stay put!" he said, and it sounded more like a command than it should. He begun to head towards the source of the scent. Scarlet followed him, wide-eyed. That Grimm girl had helped her and she didn't want her to get hurt -of course Scarlet had no idea about Monroe's relationship to another Grimm, or that he wasn't as prejudiced as the rest Blutbaden against them. She followed him to the alley where Aurora was hiding.

Aurora looked up when she heard two people heading towards her. She saw the male Blutbad and the one she had met earlier following him. She stood up off the wall and held her hands up.
"I'm sorry. I just wanted to help with the mess I helped make earlier." She said, trying her best not to panic and she was doing a good job at it unlike earlier.

Back at the farm house The three other Coyotls were throwing back beers, Luke had just gotten out of the shower and noticed that Preston had bloody bandages. In a tone sounding like a mix of worry and anger he asked "Boy what the hell happened to you?" Preston explained the story to Luke leaving out the throwing of rocks, beer bottles, and middle fingers as Luke stared wide eyed which soon turned to a stare full of rage he yelled. "A Blutbad did this to you? And there was only one?" full of rage he smacked Preston across the face and said "I'll be back i need to go figure out why this happened." Luke stormed off grabbing both his hat and his bad of chew towards his truck, he packed a large handful of chew in his cheek and began to drive to were Preston told him the store was.
The trip was only about five minutes due to the fact there was no traffic for the most part and he was driving like a mad man on a mission. he parked down the street and slammed the door to his truck making a loud clash as the door hit the rest of the car. Luke was angry and it was apparent with his body language. His fists were clenched tightly and veins were popping out and throbbing in his neck. noticing the Girl outside he was unaware she was a Grimm, Luke shouted "Hey, Come here i wanna ask ya somethin." at that moment someone walked out of the shop. Luke was not intimidated by the man nor would he if it were twenty men. Luke was angry and proceeded to walk towards the alleyway in which the man was headed.

"Wow girl calm down," Monroe said, sounding a little reassuring. "We just saw you heading over there and jee it's not really wise for a young ma'am such as yourself to be sneaking around in dark places at this time of night. There are a lot of bad guys out there..." he begun, wearing his polite smile. Scarlet raised both eyebrows, glaring wide eyed at the Grimm. Her anger had gone away for the moment but could come back any minute.
Aurora swallowed. She caught the female Blutbad's gaze then quickly looked away.
"I know, but I was having a small problem in making up my mind. I wanted to help cleaning and fixing up the shop but I thought she would get mad at me if I came back." Aurora kept her gaze away from both of the Blutbaden.

"You-you guys have met before?" Monroe said pointing first at the girl and then at his fellow Blutbad.
"Step aside, Monroe, I've got this," Scarlet said, aggressively walking towards the Grimm. "Look, I don't think it has become clear to you that this is not a game and your race does not play the part of a zookeeper. Have you not heard of your ancestors? Of what they did to people like me? Look, you're way too naive to do this, my advice is you'd better head home and hide somewhere in a rat-hole." Scarlet said, narrowing her eyes. Monroe placed a palm on her shoulder.
"Calm down." he taunted her. Monroe was older and stronger than Scarlet, therefore had some sort of "leadership" over her. She lowered her head slightly and took a step back; Blutbaden were very strict when it came to leadership matters and Scarlet had spent some time in an actual pack so she knew her manners. "From what I hear you're either a Bauerschwein or a Grimm. And since you don't smell like a pig imma go with Grimm." Scarlet glared at him and frowned.
"A harmless Grimm. I bet she cries everytime she steps on an ant!" the woman mocked.

Aurora flinched when the female Blutbad reminded her of what the previous Grimms did to creatures.
"Look, I hate what I am because of them. I don't want to be called at Grimm because it's horrible. I want to show others that not all Grimms are evil. I said it before, I want nothing to do with Grimms. Heck, I wouldn't even mind getting killed by a Reaper." Tears welled up in her eyes but Aurora quickly blinked them away and looked away again, the red in her purple eyes disappearing.

"Adolescence and Grimmolesence obviously don't mix..." Monroe mumbled leaning towards the woman.
"She makes me want to throw up," Scarlet said, shaking her head.
"Um...look..." Monroe took a step closer to the girl, "I know you're feeling a little confused right now...but you know I happen to have a friend who can...um..offer a little help." The Blutbad said, withdrawing his cell phone from his jacket.
"Don't you think the hour's kind of bad for calling that friend of yours?" Scarlet said, side-glaring the girl to make sure she wasn't faking.
"Nah he does it to me all the time," Monroe frowned searching through his contacts.

Aurora let out an irritated sigh.
"Maybe it wasn't a good idea to come and try to help out." She said as she rubbed her forehead. Aurora felt like giving up and letting herself get killed. She was so tired of creatures not believing her when she said she hated her family for what they had done.
