Mikey walked over to the couch Stella was sitting at and sat down next to her. He stared blankly at the flickering tv, still pretty bored but glad he was out of his cell. There wasn't much else that he could do, honestly.

Stella opened her eyes, and the blue light within her hands stopped. She looked at Mikey for a second, and looked at the TV. It was flickering static and looked like every other part of it but the screen had broken.
"I miss my sister," she whispered, watching the TV for no apparent reason.

Brooke kept staring at the pair, smirking slightly as she started to ship them. "You'd look cute together." She muttered to them, burying her face into her knees while she started to giggle.

Mikey turned to Brooke, shaking his head. "I already have a boyfriend..." He began. "And I mis him... But I've been on here for a while, so I doubt that he even likes me anymore." He looked down at the floor.

Stella blanched at Brooke's words, but felt better the instant Mikey mentioned his boyfriend.
"Don't convince yourself of that just because you feel bad that you're in here while he's not," she said to him. "I always assumed that Charlotte hated me, but she turned out to need me more than ever. When she was in trouble, I was the first to know." Stella heaved a sigh, picking the dirt out from under her fingernails. "I never assume anything anymore. Whatever happens, happens."
Which is how she allowed herself to get thrown in here. Ha. The irony of trying to be optimistic.

Mikey just continued to stare at the flickering TV, but was listening to everything Stella said. "I guess your right..."

"I hope so," she whispered, going back to humming and cupping her hands. An orange light emanated from between her fingers this time.

Mikey noticed the light, and looked over at Stella. "Whats that?" He asked.

Stella stole a nervous glance to the door, where the guards were standing, facing the other way.
"Just promise you won't say anything," she whispered, to Brooke just as much as to Mikey.
Slowly, Stella opened her hands and revealed a tiny fire, floating just above her skin.
"I'm practicing my magic. It's a part of the reason why I'm in here."
Just then, a guard turned and saw the fire in Stella's hand. She made it disappear into smoke, but not before he shouted to the other guards with him and took off across the rec room.
"DON'T MOVE!" he bellowed at Stella. Stella froze, wondering if she was about to get tackled, beaten, or simply escorted out. The latter seemed the least likely, though.

Mikey stood up and growled at the guards. Luckily he was in handcuffs, or he would've probably strangled a guard by now.

Brooke jumped up at the yell of the guard and grinned, ready for a decent fight. Finally. She ran over to the pair, still in her straitjacket, yet stood in front of Stella. "I want first hit." She giggled, staring at the door as her pupils started to shrink.

"You can get first if i get second!" Mikey responded to Brooke.

"You got it," Stella mumbled, still frozen. She felt somewhat happy that these two were standing up for her... Or just going after the guards they all hated. Whichever.
The guard that had been escorting Brooke stepped forward towards her.
"N-now, y-y-you know, M-M-Ms. Brake, you don't have a ch-chance in th-that jacket," he stuttered, holding up his stun gun with shaky hands.
The original one who had yelled tried to step around Brooke, towards Mikey's direction.
"Shit," Stella whispered, trying her best to conjure up a calming spell before anyone really got hurt. A third guard was descending upon the scene, and she felt she was running out of time.

Mikey looked at the guard that walked in his direction. The guard tried to get a hold of him, but Mikey just ended up punching the guard in the head the best he could with his hands not freed.

The one that had been afraid of Brooke tried to click the stun gun, to no avail. The guard punched by Mikey fell back, still conscious, and yelled out.
"ALRIGHT, ASSHOLE, YOU ASKED FOR IT!"
Stella finished the spell that she hoped would calm the guards down. She cast it towards the one Mikey punched and ended up knocking him unconscious.
"Oh... Well that works too, I guess..." she said, trying to summon the same spell again.

Mikey looked down at the guard that fell unconscious. He kicked the guard in the side of the head, still pretty angry at him.

Brooklyn just giggled as she watched the scrawny guard try and calm her. She simply stepped towards him, making him jump away. She giggled again as she continued stepping closer and closer to him, making him back up against the wall. "Can I play with him?" She begged the other two in a whiney tone.

"I don't see why not..." Mikey responded to Brooke.

Stella noted something dark in Brooke's voice, but these guards would probably have the three of them strung up as trophies if he had the chance, so she smirked.
"Go for it," she said, focusing the rest of her energy on the spell.
The third guard faltered, looking at his trembling partner and his unconscious one.
"I need backup in the--" he started on his walkie, before getting hit with a silencing spell from Stella.

Brooke grinned as she easily slid out of her straitjacket. Her guard looked at her with horror. "What?!" She exclaimed. "I'm skinny." She muttered, pouting and furrowing her eyebrows. She shook away her face before grabbed the guard by the neck quite tight, starting to strangle him, yet not very tight so he'd loose air very slowly. She giggled as she watched him struggle, trying to get away with no avail. "My, my. The toy doesn't like being played with." She said as she licked her lips slightly.
