Rogg sniffed. The cold however was making it difficult.
"I'd say that's unlikely. The Troll seems large and on it's own. Ambushes are usually done by the smaller ones. This one seems after territory and likely has made it to the mountains."

Ingar nodded and the two continued on. They continued on for a while as they approached the mountains. A massive cave was found at the base of the mountain. There were blood splatters outside the cave, alongside a few partially eaten corpses, some of Y'kish, some of wild animals. "I think we found its den." Ingar said.

The Y'kish bodies were nearby some Halberds and corpses of some Drakes were nearby.
"Looks like another of those patrols." Rogg snorts. "So how should we go about this? Looks like some of their weapons are dropped around. Couldn't have done them much good."

Ingar drew his sword, before he began to speak in an unknown language. The blade of his sword gave off a purple glow, before it was stabbed into the ground. Glowing cracks began to tear into the ground and shot in the direction of the corpses. Once the cracks reached the corpses, they began to twitch as purple light came from their eyes. Soon the corpses, that were able to at least, rose to their feet and retrieved their weapons. Ingar sheathed his sword. "Well we now have back up." Ingar said, before he began to make his way into the cave, the Zombies following after him.

Rogg had a look of both fear and intrigue.
"Didn't know you undead boys could make more undead boys to follow." He laughed. However the corpses weren't the most useful. Most had major damage to the torso or arms. They stumbled and one of the Y'kish split in half as it tried to crawl and grab its weapon. The Drakes were in little better shape but most of the remaining ones would at least be decent canon fodder to distract the troll. "Don't seem like the best but they'll do."

"There will more than likely be more corpses in the primary chamber. We'll have far more cannon fodder once we get there." Ingar explained. The cave's ceiling was high, more than high enough to hold a few trees.

Inside the cave it was cold just like outside but somewhat more humid. The further they went in the warmer it got. Well warmer was a bit of a leap. Warming up to where Rogg felt he could almost remove a layer of pelt. He didn't though. As they went in they heard the grunts and thumping of their prey. A massive Frost Troll. Hiding behind some rocks Rogg looked at the beast wondering what Ingar's plan of attack was.

The troll didn't seem to notice them. IT was busy eating, devouring what looked like a deer, only it had one horn, and was covered in draconic scales. Those were commonly called Kirin. Kyldrii was one of the few places they could be found naturally.

The Troll was ape like, having long powerful arms, but shorter stumpier legs. It had long ears and was covered in white fur that was stained with blood from wounds and it's prey. Many skeletons and half eaten corpses littered the ground. Some were of Y'kish, some drakes, there was atleast one adolescent, and plenty of smaller trolls. Trolls were well known for being willing to eat anything, even other trolls.

Ingar drew his sword, before repeating the process from outside. The Troll glanced up from its meal, before looking at the two from over its shoulder. The Troll snarled as it rose to its feet, towering over Ingar and Rogg. Before it began to advance, the corpses and skeletons in the cave began to twitch and groan as they were brought back to life. Soon there was a small army of zombies and skeletons in the cave. "Attack." Ingar ordered. The Zombies charged forward, beginning to attack the giant Troll. The Dragon Zombie took most of the Troll's attention due to its size.

Snapping it's broken jaw as best it could the undead Dragon was grappled by the troll. The massive beast grasped it's hands around the Dragon's muzzle and another one at the base of the neck slammed it into the wall and dropped it. Several of the barely stable zombie Y'kish and Drakes flailed at the Troll. Most of their muscles were frozen through or eaten away and broken. The Troll wasted no time smashing them aside and shattering the undead remains. A halberd wielding one came up and with a slash stabbing the blade into the Troll. It roared and grabbed the Y'kish before biting off its head and tossing it away. Rogg used the chance to strike. With his mace in tow he slammed into the Trolls leg from behind. A wide swing slammed into the back of it's knee with force as the undead Trolls stumbled to their feet and the Dragon came in for another strike.

Ingar looked around the cave as the undead fought the Troll. "Up there." Ingar said, indicating a path that led up a ridge. "The stalactites. If we can break them off over the Troll, we'll kill it." Ingar said.

Rogg was whipped by the undead Dragon's tail and knocked back.
"I don't see you doin anything?" Rogg says as the Troll puts both hands in the Dragon's mouth and with a fierce pull tears it's jaw off. Grasping the Dragon by its neck he swings the beast into some rocks and what remained of it's broken bones snapped. It was unable to move as the Troll roared in victory. A Drake bit into its ankle and it cried as blood was drawn. Kicking the beast off the Troll started slamming into it turning the Drake to a fuzzy red paste. Rogg took his chance and slammed into the ankle wound.

Ingar rolled his eyes as Rogg charged forward and attacked the Troll. Instead, Ingar went up the path he'd indicated, drawing his sword. The Troll roared, before swinging its arm, swatting Rogg away, before slamming its foot down on a Y'kish Zombie, squashing it.

Rogg slammed into a late approaching zombie Drake. It was limping along, barely able to keep it'self together. But when Rogg impacted the force and weight was too much. It broke in half and twitched before dying a second time. Rogg pulled himself up, coated in vicera. He snarled at the Troll and looked up to see Ingar going about his plan.
"Undead twat." He growls under his breath and charges the Troll to keep it distracted.

A ball of dark energy formed in Ingar's hand as he reached the end of the path. He glanced at the Troll and the un dead. "Corner it here." Ingar ordered. His un dead obeyed, doing their best to push the Troll into place.

Rogg looked up the caves side and saw what he needed. A ledge leading to an outcropping about ten feet up. He ran up it and when at the end leaped to the Troll. Swining his club and with the undead slamming into him Rogg's impact had an effect. Breaking the Trolls nose as it sent him flying back stumbling into the position where Ingar desired.

Once the Troll landed, Ingar fired the ball of dark energy at the stalactites. It hit, vaporizing a portion of them. The stalactites fell, impaling the troll and killing it instantly. "Finally." Ingar said, before making his way down to the ground. "Grab the corpse and follow us." Ingar ordered the remaining zombies. They did as ordered, grabbing and beginning to move the Troll.

The body was massive and the limbering often damaged bodies of the undead were slow to drag such a heavy beast. The stones impaled in it only added to the weight. Rogg ran up to Ingar.
"What's this for anyhow?" He asks after they went to the trouble of finding it.

"It will be the basis of my Chimera." Ingar said, as they headed out of the cave. It took a while, but they eventually returned to the trail. Ingar had his undead stop at the tree line.

"Chimera? Isn't that the creature we 'ere to find?" He asks confused by the statement. "Why we exactly hunting one then if you can make 'em and would need one of dem stones?"

Ingar sighed. "We aren't hunting a Chimera. We're after the Pilosopher's Stone that was used to make it." Ingar said.
