A distant battle can be heard miles away and mahogany was walking through the ruins of a town with his stick and his wits he seemed to be marching like a soldier that didn't speak a word

Early evening was a difficult time once again, as Lilim makes her way through the darkening skies carrying a small bundle of love in her arms. Lilim was already out of breath, having to grab and run as the army of mechanically augmented humans bore down on her. She had to keep her tail covered as well, lest she get hit on her only sensitive spot and be taken into captivity or executed. She didn't know what humans were prone to do with beings like her anymore. Lilim found a new place to let the 11 year old red headed girl rest for the night, wanting to take care and raise her on a normal human sleeping schedule for the future. Lilim never dreamed that the world would erupt in war as it did, but that was just the course everything took, and now she was smack in the middle of it, protecting the only thing that kept her from ripping the world apart from the inside out.

Elesa was well spooked still as her adopted big sister carried her away from the fighting, being asked to hug Lilim's tail close to her chest and doing so. As they reached a new spot away from the fighting and Lilim sat her down, Elesa would look up to Lilim with a worried frown, "Big Sis?... Are you sure we'll be safe here? What if they come after us again?" she asks timidly.

Lilim would stay knelt close to Elesa, holding her hands comfortingly, "Don't worry... I'll be right here. If they do chase after us, I'll keep you safe. This area should have some underground spaces as well, so we should be able to find a place to hide more long term." she says in an effort to give Elesa some hope. Elesa would smile to Lilim's words and nods when she gets done speaking, "Ok. And um... Big Sis?... I'm hungry." Elesa says quietly. The poor girl hadn't eaten in a couple of days, so of course she was miserable. Lilim would pull her in close for a hug, "Lets have a look around and see if there's something you can eat. I think I remember seeing a lake nearby, if you want me to try for some fish?" Lilim offers with a soft smile. Elesa would nod, "Lets have a look around first." she says in a happier tone, in no hurry what-so-ever to try hiding while Lilim went after fish.

Mahogany heared voices he went to investigate he quietly snuck up to the two girls and was puzzled he wondered why these two people are here

Lilim held Elesa's hand as they moved to look for Elesa some food. The first thing the new child may notice about the larger of the two girls was that she was hovering just off the ground and she had that narrow length of pale flesh leading several feet before coming to a tip that looked like a massive Valentines heart. The girls would start to look around a bit more, but didn't head in the boy's direction for the moment, seeming unaware of his presence for the time being.

He tilts his head in confusion he soon turns into his bigger form and stepping out into the open grunting aggressively

Lilim would flinch a little and turn as she heard something behind them. Elesa would jump and vocalize her fear loudly as the Minotaur made its presence known, "Eeeeeeeep!!" Elesa would vocalize, ducking behind Lilim quickly. Lilim would only be caught off guard for a moment before narrowing her eyes and changing her normally Green retinas to a fearsome red and moving a bit ahead of Elesa, holding up an arm as she got between the young girl and the presumed beast before her, "You wanna rumble big fella?! I'll happily oblige!" Lilim calls out bravely. Elesa would draw her hands close to her chest and step backwards slowly, clearly scared by what was going on. Lilim's gaze would be locked on the Minotaur, the determination in her eyes making it clear that she was going to protect the girl behind her, and that the Minotaur would not get by her.

Elesa would stagger a little as she steps on a rock that moves under her foot, causing her charms to clash together on her belt. Elesa's eyes would glow a bright blue as she would have a moment of revelation that would allow her to gaze at the Minotaur and see for herself that this was no beast at all, but a young child. When the effects ended, Elesa would move to grasp Lilim's hand, "Big Sis, wait..." she says calmly.

Lilim would glance to Elesa as the young girl took her hand, "It's ok, Elesa, I can take him." she says comfortingly.

"No Big Sis!... Look closer." Elesa says as she gives a jump and causes her charms to bump together again, this time sending the energy to Lilim.

Lilim's eyes would glow a soft blue now and she looked back to the Minotaur, blinking as she saw past the display and her gaze softened as the energy wore off, her eyes returning to their natural deep green, "Oh..." Lilim says in a calmer voice. She understood now what Elesa was doing, and calmed her arm to show she wouldn't be taking arms against him. Elesa would release Lilim's hand and allow Lilim to hover closer to the Minotaur, "You poor child... You were just as scared of us as we started to be of you, huh? You were only trying to keep yourself safe, right?... Well not to worry... We're not here to fight. It's ok." she says calmly as she opens her arms as though to offer a hug.

You bothe saw scars laced on his chest they looked like sacrificial marks
Mahogany was taken aback from this small gesture of kindness and he tilts his head in confusion not knowing how to respond but as the small girl got closer he stepped back once and made a threatened grunt before turning into his smaller human form still with a confused look on his face

Lilim watched the child change to his human form, offering a calm smile as she brings herself to sit on the ground with her feet under her butt, "There's no need to be afraid. See? We mean you no harm. What are you doing out in these ruins all alone? Is someone looking after you?" she asks in a calm tone, making no effort to get any closer now that he had reverted to his human form. Lilim wanted the child to trust her, and she believed rather strongly that getting any closer to him and cornering him would not leave a good impression. Several seconds would pass before Lilim would speak again, "What's your name?" she asks curiously.

Elesa would keep her distance for now and let out a breath of relief as the boy changed from a massive Minotaur to an even younger looking child than herself. She'd let Lilim do the talking for now too, thinking that if she too got as close as Lilim, it may cause the boy to panic again, and that was something she really would prefer not to happen.

He just looked at her puzzled 'who is this woman? Why is she here of all places? What dos she want ? Is she augmented?' Were just some of the questions that were courseing through the little boy's mind
He opens his mouth to reveal an absence of a tongue and a Roman numerals were in its place he closed his mouth before she could read them

Lilim barely had time to notice that the boy had no tongue, but deduced quickly that he was either too young to speak yet or due to the lack of a tongue, couldn't speak at all. She'd spend a few seconds thinking, then would get an idea, "Elesa... Use your Psychic seal. If he can't speak, he can surely think. Send me some energy, could ya?" she asks in a calm tone.

Elesa would listen to Lilim carefully and nod to her idea, reaching to pull one of the charms from her belt. As she held it up the boy would see that the charm had what appeared to be a runic seal on it and the center of it looked like a giant eye. It would start to glow as Elesa chanted gently, "Seal of Mind... Telepathy reach." She says almost in a whisper, sending a wave of purple energy to Lilim.

Lilim would feel the Psychic energy reach her and would try again, this time speaking through her mind, "It's ok... Please don't be afraid. Just clear your mind and think of what you want to say." she says slowly through a gentle telepathic link. She'd be able to hear him now, at least for a short time. She'd sway her tail slowly, draping the spade at the end where the boy could see it. Surely seeing her cream colored fleshy tail move would convince the boy that she was not a human, if her eyes changing colors didn't do that already. Elesa looked all human though, and was only 7 years older than the boy.

As the swath of energy tryed to reach him he backed away in a panic knocking over burned wooden beams and corpses of augmented humans and monsters blocking your path to find him

He peeks over cautiously hoping not to see it again

Elesa flinched and squeaked timidly at the falling pillars and bodies, reaching for another seal of hers and using it to open a small hole in the ground, "Seal of ground. Tunnel." she says briefly before jumping into her newly sunk in hidey hole.

Lilim would clench her eyes shut as the pillars and bodies crashed to the ground, though she tried not to move, staying seated in an attempt to prove he didn't have to worry about her being a threat to him. She was curious now though as to why he ran scared of the telepathy. If he couldn't speak, he couldn't answer questions, and Lilim was left without a way to get him to open up to her and let her prove he could trust her.

Lilim would get an idea though. Maybe asking him specific questions wasn't the answer, maybe he could answer "yes or no" questions instead? Lilim would look to the child worriedly, "Hmm... I take it you don't like magic that much, do you?" she asks in a gentle tone, no longer attempting to use telepathy.

He stayed hidden behind the debris shaking his head slowly. he's had a bad experience with magic obviously.
He hears something and looks around frantically you hear it too skittering quiet skittering
He looked around in a panic and hid under the closest remains he could

Lilim hears the skittering and glances around for a moment. At first she thought it was just a few Opossums, and tried to dismiss it, but then the skittering got a bit louder. Elesa too would jump out of her hole and run to Lilim's side, a bit spooked by the sounds around them. Lilim would start to get weary and got into a hover, turning her back to the child and getting ready for anything as she didn't know exactly what the skittering was being caused by, but she'd be using her sixth sense to feel for life forces and energy signatures all around and seeing what she could find.

After a few seconds if nothing happened, "Child... I think you might be safer if you hunker down over here with Elesa... I'll protect you if you'll let me... But I wont force you to believe me, nor do I expect you to trust me... But you seem innocent enough, so let me keep you out of danger." she says calmly, hoping the child believed her and would come closer so she could protect him from whatever was encircling them.

He nods quickly and dashes out of his hiding spot and jumps into the hole
The skittering was not coming from any sort of life form but from mechanical gatherers metal beings that look like giant spiders they don't take kindly to living beings turning them to mechanical monsters them selfs
Mahogany starts muttering gibberish in his tongueless dialect crying histericly
A Scottish man can also be heared yelling at the beasts and shouting orders
"Come on you lot I haven't got all day I got a kid to catch ! Little Minotaur basterd "

The man had a bowler hat on and was smoking a cigar it looks like he has a synthetic jaw and arm give the to him by the augmented humans no doubt he was also wearing a fancy vest he sorta reminds you of a bar brawler from the Victorian ages

In one of the trees there is someone watching silently, they seem kinda depressed. There is something off about them though, as a longer look at them would reveal that it was a bit shifty and blurry around them, though they themselves were clear. What was this? a force-field? An illusion? No, it was just the space around them adjusting to their presence, as it cleared away the person sighed, accidentally alerting the hunters to their presence. "Sir, there appears to be someone over there!" One of the men pointed in the direction of the tree, but the person was gone. They were suddenly hiding behind a pillar only a few feet away from the men, the space around them blurry and clearing once more. They seemed to not want to be seen.

Elesa runs over to her hole and jumps back in with the child, hunkering down and waiting until Lilim said it was safe again.

Lilim would hover in front of the hole and use her keen night vision to see through the darkness ant gaze at the spiders and the half cyborg man commanding them. Lilim would think, 'Oh... This is way too easy...' and puts her hands on the ground.

Using her Siphon magic, Lilim would draw in energy from the ground and use it to manipulate the ground itself to cause a quake, triggering a pair of sink holes that saw two of the giant mechanical spider monsters drop to their torsos as their legs were sunk into the ground all at once, reaching into their metal and causing them to twist and wrench and making them fall apart before making a head slowly emerge from the ground, a face appearing in it and glaring at the invaders, "Why have you invaded my domain!!" the head would say, acting as Lilim's puppet as she tried to chase these beings off before they had a chance to get close enough to notice her.

He looks at the head"parlor tricks " using his augmented arm to smash the head into pieces "oo oh boy that felt good " after a laugh he wistels and the two men that remaind get up an search for you "be careful we have a succubis roaming around don't let her trick ya" he chuckles " I need to find that little Minotaur bastard"

Lilim was surprised they saw through her Siphon magic so quickly. Not many magical beings had the use of Siphon magic, especially since for all Lilim knew, it was only known by Lilithian succubi and special Elementians. Bad move with the man using his arm to make contact with Lilim's power though, as now she had a means to take his body apart without him even being able to detect her. She'd hover toward the man and draw the attention to herself though, "HEY!!" she shouts, getting the spider's attention as well as the mans, "You guys looking for a fight? Why don't you try challenging me?" Lilim calls out to them. She'd just love for the guys to charge at her or shoot at her or something, because she was about to show these guys why you don't mess with the magical community.
