Violet ran into the forest, feeling the chill of the night prick her skin under her fur. She continued running, looping around the packs territory, keeping her breath even.
After managing to run the entire packs territory she walked back to the house, walking onto the porch and shifting back into her human form. The cold air stung the sweat stuck to her skin. She put her clothes back on and walked into the house.

He looked over as Violet entered the house. "Did you have a good run?"
She nodded, walking over and taking a seat beside him on the couch. “Watching the news?”
He nods his head. "Yeah....I want to see if that werewolf hunter is on the news. Plus...I want to see what is going on with the area around us. Want to join me or are you hungry?"
“I’ll join you, I’m still full from the meat from earlier.” She responded, smiling slightly.
He scoots over and looked back towards the tv. Right now they were talking about the weather. "Looks like we got quite a few rainy days ahead of us...."
“I actually like the rain.” She responded, watching the weatherman speak. “It feels the air with that kind of clean smell... I can’t really explain it.”
He glances over as she spoke. "The rain is needed...some of the forest life has en drying up. Humans are such odd creatures....always trying to stay dry." Picking up a cup of coffee that was sitting on the end table next to him, he took a drink. "While I was away, did anything happen to upset you or Avory?"
Violet shook her head, “I was fine, Avory and the new male got into a little spat though. It was dumb, something about basketball. I forgot how annoying some of the younger wolves can be.” She said, laughing a bit to herself.
He chuckles some. "I never had a thing for the things that humans called 'sports'. It only confused me." As the news ended he turned off the tv.
Violet nodded in agreement, “I’d much rather just run then chase after a ball.” She looked over to Dmitri, “If you don’t mind me asking, how old are you?”
He looks over again. "Have you ever heard of someone named Vlad Dracula?"
Violet nodded, raising an eyebrow in a questioning way.
"I was once one of his warriors." He looked at the closet that held his armor....one that protected him while as a human and one where it was for his wolfen form. He never spoke about himself before, so it feel odd having to say.
“Really?” She asked, following his gaze before looking back at him, “That’s actually really cool, now I don’t feel so old around the younger wolves.” She commented, laughing.
He nods his head. "He was the only human that actually vouched for me while I was in my wolven form. The rest of the army didn't know the wolf who fought beside them was me, as he gave me a place where I could shift without them knowing."
Jack had been in a random corner of the living room, listening in on the conversation. He wasn't nosy, he was just the type to get caught up in one thing. "You were a soldier for Dracula? Dude, how long do werewolves live?" He asked, slicing his thumb with a knife, kinda zoned out.
He looked over to Jack as he spoke out. "Well....I haven't died yet....but then again I was born a werewolf. As for other werewolves...I haven't seen any other than those that are here."
"I suppose it's not too odd. I have met werewolves that are quite old." He said, squeezing the blood out of his thumb into a small metal bowl. He grabbed different stuff from his bag, adding them together. When he was finished, he started putting them into syringes, opening bullets and putting the concoction inside.
"So, where do you come from?" He asked them
"So, where do you come from?" He asked them
Violet listened to Dmitris comment about being born a werewolf, as most others aren’t. “I was born a werewolf, both my parents were wolves. We were separated when I was young though, and I haven’t seen them since. I’m only 24 though, not ancient.” She said smiling, jokingly making fun of Dmitri.
