Eve's keen eyes were pulled right to the movement of her hands. Her free hand snaked down and pulled the bracelet from her wrist. "Mistake, woman. This is mine now."
She held it to the meager light, not that she needed to, it was more for the glinting effect. She wretched when she saw the charm.

Zalia gasped. "No!" She reached for it desperately. "Give it back! Please." She needed that. She needed it or else she would break down. "Give it back to me. It's mine, I bought it!"
Bade. She missed him. She missed him so much. She'd never felt so alone and rejected. She needed him, and that charm was what kept her memories of him. Otherwise she felt like he had been a dream. Something that hadn't truly happened.
"Please give it back."

"No, I think not. I shall keep it to place on your grave and stomp it into the dirt when we are done with you."
With that, Eve left the room. But no before kicking the food onto the floor.

Zalia wasn't hungry anyways. But without her bracelet, she broke down. She curled up and finally cried. She had thought things could not get worse, but now they were. Already her mind was plagued with doubts. Was it ever real? Was it all just a dream, would she wake up with her father towering over her?
The pain in her arm was intense. It was still healing from being broken after all. She couldn't use that as a reminder that things had been real because it was just as possible that her father had broken her arm. "Bade..." she whispered. As if whimpering his name over and over would reinforce the fact that he was real.
Zalia would stay curled up like that until she was fetched. Broken and alone.

((I forgot if it was day or night ))
She was left there for an unnumbered amount of hours. She was unable to tell the change in time, for the room itself was stagnant. No more light poured in or left since the moment she was placed there. The wolves seemingly forgot her.
Meanwhile there was a meeting being called throughout the pack. A howl went into the air, loud and long enough to catch the ears of civilians and wolves alike. However, it only meant something to the wolves. They gathered in an open field in the dead of night, some of them hunched over as if ready to explode into their furred bodies. They remained on two feet however, for they needed the use of their voices.
Zalia was dragged to the middle of the pack circle and left bound on the ground. Eve grabbed everyone's attention. She was wearing a dark dress and no shoes. Her curls had been tamed into a sweeping bun, yet some hung loose to her exposed neck. She was both regal and deadly without trying very hard.
"My pack mates and friends. Listen to what I have to tell you about this monstrosity. She is a seducer and a witch. One of the kinds we have only heard from legend." The pack was silent as she spoke. Some had not yet heard of the girl or her lineage. "This vampire," a gasping hush swept over the crowd. "This vampire has infiltrated our pack. She has gained our knowledge by seducing one of our own. She has attacked some of our kind who were trying to steal our paw-brother back." Some of the members of the crowd called up in agreement. "She keeps his mind under her own power with his very charm!" With that she thrust the braclet into the air to show them.
"My very own brother, and possibly your future Alpha has fallen to this seductress' power!"

Zalia remained still and calm as she was taken away. She looked around at everyone surrounding her, and when EVE took the lead and started talking, she flinched. "That's not true!" She bit her lip, then calmly spoke. "I'm a half vampire. A dhampir. My father was a fullblooded vampire and my mother was a human. I'm not a seductress, I'm just a girl!"
She looked right at Eve. "I am completely in love with Bade. I love him so much that I'm letting you all treat me like this, just for the slightest possibility that you will let me stay with him. I didn't try to attack your kind; I thought they were attacking Bade so I pushed them away to save him. I don't know my strength though. I hurt one of them badly. So I brought back a first aid kit to fix him up."
She took in a deep breath. "When I started hanging out with Bade, I didn't know he was a werewolf at all. But even when I found out he was, even when I knew that his family would hate me for something I have no control over...I still loved him. And I still do. Even if his own pack could very well kill me."
She looked at the bracelet. "I bought that bracelet at the store, along with a necklace for Bade when we went out. I need something to remind me he's real. To make sure he's real, that this isn't a dream and that I'm not going to wake up to my father's hateful words."
She looked around, searching the faces to see if by any chance Bade was there.
"I just want to be with the person that I love."
She knew it was hopeless. Eve would happily twist her words around.

And twist them she did. Soon after her speech her honeyed words caused a sense of camaraderie among her pack mates to believe that she had been attacked when trying to communicate with her brother. She showed a series of scratches and marks similar to those the other wolves had suffered. No one would question whether they were self inflicted or not. She had come to the point of sentencing now.
"So I ask you, my fur brother and sisters. What do we do with this menace? Surely we cannot allow her to be free among us to do harm indiscriminately?"
"So I ask you, my fur brother and sisters. What do we do with this menace? Surely we cannot allow her to be free among us to do harm indiscriminately?"
Zalia stayed still and calm. She'd gotten upset to the point of...peace.
"And let me ask you something." she said quietly. "How are you going to look yourselves in the mirror when you see your beloved brother without a smile on his face?" A tear trickled down her cheek and she kept her gaze on the ground. "He...more than anyone, he deserves to be happy. He has the sweetest smile. Go ahead and get rid of me if you think me so dangerous. But good luck getting Bade to even fake a smile."
She took in a soft, shaky breath. "If I'm going to get kicked out or die...then damnit, just make sure he can smile again someday. Just make sure he'll smile again." That was all she wanted. She wanted Bade to be happy. The tears were trickling down her face now, more than just one. She knew her sentence already. She knew she would be taken care of in one way or another. The killer was just what she had said; that Bade wouldn't smile anymore.

Eve fixed her with a blank expression while she spoke. A hush went over the crwod whose wolf eyes were now glowing in the dark as they turned toward the enemy.
"Well." Eve's head cocked to the side as she spoke her expression was blank and innocent. "He smiled after I drove away his other girlfriend. The witch? Ocatavia, I think it was." The last thing Zalia could see was Evangeline's perfect lips spreading in a cruel smile as a bag was placed over her head.

Zalia actually wasn't hurt by Eve's words. She had heard Bade talk about Octavia before, and she was positive that she wasn't like the witch. She stayed still as the bag went over her head and she closed her eyes.
This was it. She had only one thing she could think, one thing her voice would ever get out in a soft whisper. "I'm sorry, Bade.."
She had let him down. He was alone again, and it was all her fault. She had never felt so guilty over anything. A thousand apologies would not make up for the pain and guilt she felt in making this mess for him.

((I'm running out of thought process lol @_@ ))
While she was silently apologizing to nothing, Eve announced that the ritual would be held at midnight and the vampire offered to the moon. Until then she was dragged back into her holding cell in the Alpha's house.
Bade sat alone in his living room, somewhere around his third or fourth beer. He had his feet up, watching nothing in particular on tv.

The more she was left alone in that holding cell...the more she missed Bade. The more she wanted him and wanted to be with him. Why should she bow down now? Eve was going to win.
A new determination filled her up. She had to keep Bade smiling. She wouldn't let them hurt him by killing her. Her determination slowly turned to anger. She felt the change, the vampiric blood rushing through her veins. Fangs started growing, her nails grew sharp. She felt strength throb through her limbs.
She wouldn't give up.
Her binds were snapped as she yanked against them with her newfound power. The bag was yanked off of her head, revealing bright red eyes. She got up and strolled to the door, knocking on it.
"Knock knock.." The voice was sweet and alluring. It was just one moment of waiting before she punched a hole through the spot where the doorknob was. Knuckles cracked as she flex them and then slammed both hands against the door to open it.
"I'm awfully tired of you gents treating a lady so mean."

The Weres outside her door were completely caught off guard. Apparently Eve didn't think much of Zalia and she had stationed some of the younger way less experienced wolves to watch the door. The pimple-faced boys looked only in their teens, just around the age where the wolf gene would manifest. They turned tail and ran of course.
Bade dropped his head back on the couch and closed his eyes. He spent a good while like this thinking over his brief time with Zalia. His eyes moved beneath his lids and relieved the fun times that had caused him to fall for her. There was a knock at the door.
Rising, he pulled the blanket covering his lap over his shoulders and looked through the peep hole. Evangeline. He opened the door a crack. "What do you want, Eve?" His expression was sour and it was clear he had given an even smaller amount of thought to shaving this morning. Evangeline pushed the door inward and stepped across the threshold with light feet.
"I'm bringing you grave news, Brother." She seated herself on the couch. "I'm afraid some of the younger ones took it upon themselves to persecute your girlfriend." She was somber and regretful looking.
Bade's head snapped to her then, as he was closing the door.
"What?"
"They were spooked by her attack on our mates and they wanted to be brave and rid the Pack of a threat. Regrettably we were not able to stop them," She met his eyes then, acting perfectly. "I'm afraid she's gone, Bade." She got to her feet then and laid her hands on his shoulders. "I'm sorry brother. You seem to have quite the bad luck in the field of love." She slipped away and out the door, her last words lingering in the room like lead.
Bade slid down to the floor, back against the wall. He wasn't sure what to do.
((Feel free to move Zalia through the house; I have no set up in my head for it. Or the wolves that inhabit it.))

Zalia didn't attack anyone, even in the state she was in. She darted through the house on light feet, avoiding all the other wolves and jumping through the window and running. Where? Well where else would she go? Home. To Bade. In fact, it was barely two minutes after Eve had broke the lie to Bade that she burst in through the door.
She was not out of breath at all. She stood there calmly, looking around for a moment. When she saw Bade, those red eyes faded and she rushed to him, stumbling a little. The vampire was subdued and she was back to her clumsy little self. "Bade!!" She latched onto him. "I was so scared. They had me in a room and I was all tied up and Eve took my bracelet and everyone believed her words over mine and they were gonna kill me tonight but I couldn't let you lose someone else because you deserve to be happy!"
It all came out in a rush, and she held onto him as if she were afraid he would vanish in her arms. "I love you...there has to be some way I can stay with you."

He was on his feet as soon as the door opened again. He had to take her by the arms and push her off him in order to get a good look at her face, just to be sure. His face was a mixture of tortured and confused. He hadn't had enough time to process her death when she burst in fully alive. He stared at her for long moments before collapsing into a sit again.
"My head hurts."
"My head hurts."
Zalia blinked when she was pushed away. "Bade?" she whimpered softly. Did he hate her now? "I didn't hurt anyone...I promise. I broke out but I made sure I didn't hurt anyone.." When he sat down, she knelt by him and touched his head. "U-uhm, do you want some medicine? I can get you some ice..."
Well, it was the same worried Zalia. She spotted the necklace and sighed. "I hate her. Evangeline. She's terrible. That bracelet was the only thing reminding me that this was all real, and she took it. Then she used it in the meeting, saying I was a seductress and using that to control you!"
She groaned and just hugged him gently. "I'm sorry....all this is my fault."

"I'm just a simple man, Zalia. I know that doesn't make any sense because I'm also a wolf and a lot is expected of me, but all this nonsense. It's really hard to follow." He lifted his head to look at her, his eyes were bloodshot and it looked as if he hadn't been sleeping. "I know my sister has a mean streak,. believe me I know. Do you think I wasn't aware of what really happened to Tavi? I loved her, like I love you, but Eve goaded the bad side of her and she changed. But what am I supposed to do?" He looked her in the eyes with the innocence of a child.
Zalia brushed her fingers along his cheek. "I don't know." she said honestly. "The only thing I can think of...well, that's running away. And I can't be selfish like that. I can't take you away from your family." She sighed. "My bad side already came out. But..I didn't hurt anyone. And I was back to myself when I saw you." She smiled a little bit at him. "Even my bad side loves you."
She got up and fetched a blanket, draping it over him. "Just sit and relax, okay? I'm going to make you something to eat." He probably hadn't eaten all day. Not that she had, either. She went and made some sandwhiches, then walked over and sat down beside him. She held his plate out for him. "C'mon, have something to eat. It'll be okay. Just try to relax for now. We'll figure something out soon."
She smiled gently at him. "You're a simple man. So for now, let's keep things simple."

He ate his sandwich in silence with much less vigor than he used to. He mostly picked at it and ate the pieces individually, leaving the crusts of the bread on the plate. He put the rest of the sandwich down and just watched her eat in silence. His brain was working over a thought which he blurted out before he really finished it.
"Let's do it. Let's run away."
"Let's do it. Let's run away."
Zalia blinked and stared at him. "What?" She sighed then and looked down. "Bade.." She didn't really know how to put her feelings into words. "I really want that. I want that a lot. But I can't take you away from your family, and under the circumstances it would just make things worse. And we would have to pack things up, we'd need money...You'd be deserting your pack, Bade. You would be leaving your whole family, and who knows if they would ever take you back for running away with a half-blood?"
She finished her sandwhich and looked at him. "I don't want to make your life that misreable.."
She put away their dishes and walked over to stand in front of him, holding out her hands. "C'mon. We both need sleep." Her cheeks were a little pink. "Can we sleep in the same bed? I don't want to be seperated from you again."
