long ago, a malevolent sorcerer created an ancient labaryth, set in a part of the country where darkness was eternal and foul creatures run amok and lurk in the shadows. he took the most horrorfying of these monsters and placed them in the labyrinth as deniziens. the purpose of this place was to lure in wandering heros or warriors, or any other fools who might seek to obtain the treasures within, for treasures there were, spread out through its winding paths were many items of value, but at the centre lied a great power which he locked up, but of course, he conducted all this out of curiosity, to see how many would fall to the clutches of his deadly maze. eventually, the people of the towns and cities of the light side of the untarnished side of the country captured and, of course, executed the malign arcane user. but at a cost, for upon his downfall he placed a curse upon the land that until a brave soul traverses and survives the labyrinth and all its traps and horrors, a terrible blight upon the land would be placed upon the land, but none dare enter, further more, if the traasure is not found within the 50 year aniversy of his demise, the labyrinth will release its dark contents upon the kingdom, darkening the very light. to this dat only a run down inn stands on the outskirts of the maze in a desolate country, hoping both to warn anyone who strays across not to enter, but also hoping ne might brave the dangers of the maze...
