Sylass scoffed at Gaunt for that."Wizard is dumb! Monster would scare Dwarves, make us enemies!" Sylass yelled. Stasi said the same, but more friendly and calm."I doubt it would be a good idea, my friend. There's boats around here, I'm sure."
Sylass didn't want the boat, though. Without warning, he jumped into the water, making a large wave that probably got both Stasi and Gaunt wet. As soon as that happened, a boat came by, manned by a Dwarf, who stopped right in front of the two wizards."Need a ride?" He asked as he looked around for the creature who just jumped into the water."Where's that other... thing at?"

Gaunt smiled. "I didn't say I would, but the opportunity is there if need be." he replied. He cursed under his breath when Sylass jumoped in and got his cloak wet. "You knew this was a new once!" he yelled after him, even though he was certain he wouldn't hear it. When the boat cam by, he managed a smile. "Yes, if you please. And our good companion will perfectly reach his destination, I'm thinking. For some reason I don't think he likes sailing."
Stasi giggled a bit as Gaunt's thought."No, he's a Lizard. They need to wet their scales once in a while or they turn dry. Most Swamp related Lizardfolk do. I've heard of Fire Breathing Lizardfolk, though, who prefer to keep them dry." She rambled on as their pair got in the rowing boat."Sorry. It's just.. I've been studying outlandish races as well as Arcane magic. I like to share information a bit too much sometimes."
Soon the group reached the other side of the city, which lead out of the fort. This time they would be able to walk the dusty road for Atras, where a mighty library was hidden. The road wouldn't be too long, but still they would have to watch out for perils. Once the the pair of wizards stepped out of the boat, Sylass appeared from the water, completely drenched."What took robed folk so long?" He complained as he started walking.

"The robed folk had to depend on the wind. Which, for once, I didn't want to make stronger." He had actually enjoyed the relative peace with which the ship had moved across the water. It was a welcome change from the constant dangers that had plagued them since they all left for the mines.
Sylass shrugged that off. This was no pleasure trip after all. Especially since they were going to a library. Sylass could barely read. The fact he could read the slightest bit was a miracle on its own.
The road was a long and uneventful one. There were only fields to be seen, and the occasional river that ran for the fort. Even animals seemed to avoid this place, though Sylass complained this was a bad omen. The Skinless could be here as well.
Stasi slouched behind. She followed well enough, but only once the group finally reached Atras. She ran for the village square, but the place seemed abandoned.
The very little homes and inns were in bad shape. The only thing that kept its glory was the large stone library next to the Bookworm's Tavern. It had large pillars and a long staircase. The entire thing was as white as possible, something else Sylass complained about."Books are paper. Why store paper in such a grande building?" To this barbaric creature, this didn't make any sense.

Gaunt grinned. "Better get used to it Sylass. That's a looooot of paper in there." he said with a smile on his face. He walked up the stairs and tried the door. Locked. he looked back at the others. "Any ideas on how to get inside?"
Stasi shook her head."No. I remember the king saying the library was in house number 83. It was hidden. This is probably a smart ploy."
Sylass hissed."Good. Don't like building." He insisted as he walked back down the stairs.
The house they were looking for was closeby the library. It was an old home, and looked like the home of the common peasant. Stasi gently knocked on the door."Hello?"
Sylass pushed her aside and kick the door in with one fell strike of his clawed foot. The old door fell down on the dusty floor."Drow girl saw how to knock, yes?" He huffed angrily as he entered inside.
The home was a modest one. Everything from the living room to the bedrooms and the kitchen were on the same floor. Every room had but a flimsy wall separating it. There was also a door that lead to a small basement. There was hardly any furniture though, and the floor was covered in a thick layer of dust. Clearly it had been abandoned for quite a while."Alright, best start looking for clues. My guess is that there's a trigger hidden around here somewhere."
