Lucifer was a peaceful and kind demon. He had no liking for violence. Even more so after he met Khalisi his wife. His wife was his everything. she was his light and his happiness. One day he came home to find his wife dying on the floor of their bedroom after being attacked by a mage. She made him promise to find another to take as his wife and lover. Not even an hour later Khalisi died from the mage attack turning Lucifer into a cold hearted knight.
Lucifer is looking for someone who can handle his attitude and change him for the better. He is looking for someone to love and love him in return.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
