"Don't waste your shots. You've only got 8 bullets per magazine," he called back in reminder, "And it's one helluva time trying to reload bullets into the same magazine."
((Sorry for the late reply, I've been watching FMAB))
"I don't plan on wasting them!!" Cassie yelled stubbornly as she re-loaded the gun expertly. "I've played with guns before Marine!" She screamed as she shot into the darkness again, hitting the demon that was following them. Smiling, she went to reload, only to find that all the ammo was missing. There was a full crate just a second ago. "How long until we reach a stream or river?" Cassie screamed as she shot lightning from her hand into the darkness, each one draining her energy more.

"Never, why?" Marco asked, "Get back in the truck, now!" he ordered.
"But I'm having soooo much fun!!" Cassie laughed as something shot out of the darkness at her. A tail. "Oh shit, looks like we have... um... Big Ugly Demons?" She said, forgetting the name of the serpent-like demon she had learned about. It grazed her upper arm as she flipped onto the cab of the truck, now standing on it's roof. "Maybe I should get inside?" She whispered to herself as she dodged more tails and claws.
"YES!!! GET INSIDE NOW OR I'LL SHAKE YOU OFF AND LET TE DEMONS GET YOU!!" Marco yelled, a very commanding and authoritative tone in his voice that made people know he meant it and make tem want to listen.
"Fine, I'm coming!!" She yelled as she climbed back through the window of the truck and locked the door. "What are we going to do?" She asked as she threw the empty gun on the ground and cleaned her sword off.
The marine was pedal to the floor already and the engine roared furiously.
"Come on, let's go," he spoke quietly to the truck as he shifted gears.
