Are you a fan of the RWBY series? You know, the animated-styled one created by Monty Oum for Rooster Teeth? Or maybe you are just in need of a new RP experience?
Well, you are probably on the right post! Or not who knows...
This post won't be open for too long because I and my friends are searching for ONE more role player! Yeah, I know: why creating a whole post about it?
The answer is simple: we are too hyped to start, so we need a new partner... AND FAST!
If you don't know the series, it is not a big issue; we will be very glad to make you discover it. The thing is, we really want to start, so it would be a good thing if you knew a bit about the show.
And I will emphasize on the fact that our RP is an Original Character one (OC). We are encouraging creativity and because of that, we want to create our own character and our own adventures. Don't expect us to play as Ruby or Weiss, it is not what we are seeking. Thus, we will be in a way, connecting our RP with the main plotline. Here is what we had in mind:
We start approximately four or five years before the fall of Beacon. Our characters meet and become a great team through the years (we are estimating that it would take them three or four years until they get their license). Though we don't have a clear idea of what kind of adventures they will have; we will make sure to make them interesting. If the RP goes that far (and we are hoping that it will), we thought that the team could shatter. Maybe because of personal reasons- we didn't figure that out yet. They would lose track from each other for one or two years, until Beacon Falls. When the school gets destroyed, they decide to reunite together again.
We are still searching new ways to make this more and more fun, so none of us will get annoyed!
To make stuff clear: we don't want this RP to be a simple school one. We want to make it interesting with different characters and plot twists. We will prefer your replies to be more than just one line. No stress though, we won't bite you if you write a small post (happens to everyone), but we prefer to stick to small paragraphs.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Far future, perhaps interstellar travel (generation ships)
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
I have a few questions. Is there an idea for the team name already? I'm quite interested- I'd just need to whip up a new character in a bit that could fit. I'd also want to know what kind of 'speed' do you expect? I believe that I'd be on a mismatched timezone from you (I'm about to head to bed honestly!), coupled with school, but I do think that I could throw in a few posts each day.

We currently do not have much of an idea for a name, a few have floated around, but not many. For the speed, we just wish that if you will not be able to reply for more then 2 or 3 days for you to tell us. As for the time zone situation that is alright, we can make it work. Thank you for showing your interest in our roleplay!
