Hello, I'm Rodak, a grognard who never could shake the dice habit. I'm proposing a game that's based on pulpy Sword & Sorcery fiction filled with perilous adventure.
The system I would like to use is "Barbarians of Lemuria", the original free version found on 1km1kt, with some 'house rules' tossed in. This system is ridiculously easy to use, from character creation to combat. Most everything is rolled with a 2d6, and, after bonuses and penalties, if the final result is nine or more, you succeed. The characters are generated using a dirt simple point distribution system.
This will be more "Conan, the Barbarian" than "Lord of the Rings". As of now, there is only one non-human race available, and I will only allow that race to be played if the player requests it, but only one will be allowed, for now.
I'm not going to be too nit picky on prose, because, after all...pulpy Sword and Sorcery.
I will provide further details when I get enough replies.
Knowledge of the system, and the stories and comics they are based on, are not required. However, if you DO have the BOL system, do not make a character prior to my posting the guidelines for character creation for this particular game. Hope to hear from you soon.

Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Industrial revolution
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
